Description of Work: My home inspection reported a leak under my house and a wax seal replacement on a toilet. Matt from Apollo plumbing crawled into the crawl space and found that the water was coming from a dryer vent not a pipe. He then looked at the toilet and it was fine. He then said that since it was an Angie's list call and he was only there for a few minutes that there was no charge. I will definitely call them again!!

Description of Work: Matthew installed a new Pioneer kitchen faucet. He explained the operation of the faucet & warranty info. We also had a leak at the water heater & he installed a new valve. The hot water heater is about 10 years old & rusting, so we ordered a new one with up to code strapping & a new shut-off valve. The work is scheduled for the next day (5/2/13). Matthew is very professional & knew what he was doing. We were impressed with his promptness & dedication. We previously used another plumbing company that is well advertised, but suspected that they over-charged. Checking Angie's List, they had low ratings overall & on their prices. We are sold on Apollo Plumbing & will use them on any future plumbing work.

Description of Work: Had them out to fix my clogged laundry room drain. I was concerned because I have an older home and the plumbing for this drain had never been updated. The service person, Mark, explained things very well. He said that he had drain cleaning with him and that he should be able to unclog the drain with the equipment he had. I opted to try the drain snake. He was able to unclog the drain with the machine he brought. I do plan to replace the piping in my home eventually, but I am very happy they were able unclog it without emergency repairs.

Description of Work: A lavatory faucet and two toilets were replaced. The representative was prompt, called to say he was on his way. He was very informative, gave options and possible scenarios that could occur and gave prices for each. The work was completed in one day. The product is very nice, works very well. Matthew communicated with me throughout the process, explaining what was going on. cleaned up very well, as if he had never been there. I also wanted a leaking bathtub fixture repaired. Parts were ordered and am waiting for that. I think the price was good for the work that was done. I am very happy with this company, would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Description of Work: We have dirly water coming into our tub. Provider said the water heater probably needed draining or replacing. He attempted to drain it and found the spigot blocked. Even though the tank was 8 years old he said the interior may be sluffing off material or it may be natural substances at the bottom of the tank. Because the tub is lower than the tank it emits dirty water from the sentiment. There was no charge for the visit because we used Angies List with a $50 coupon. We plan to replace water heater later.

Description of Work: Had a tub/shower in a rooming house that kept backing up even though I used a snake and chemicals to improve the flow. Brought in Apollo after seeing Angie's ratings, and Mark did an excellent job of power snaking and cleanout - tenants happy now. While there, we checked the crawl space for a cleanout valve and found a leaking hose connection. After about 3 hours of repair of a 1900-vintage house with inappropriate, Rube Goldberg connections and piping (inherited by me unknowingly), he managed to stop the leak, though a particular fitting needed was no longer available to make the complete code fix.

Description of Work: We had a leak around the toilet in the master bath, so I called Apollo Plumbing on Friday, August 17th. The plumber was there that day and fixed one of the problems. He came back the next Monday and replaced the 25 year old toilet with a low flow toilet within an hour and a half. The work was outstanding, and Matthew the plumber was very polite and knowledgeable. We're going to be doing somebath remodeling fairly soon and I plan on calling Apollo to help us with it, they're excellent!!

Description of Work: I received a quote by Mark initially which was lower. However, on the day of the work he ran into some difficult removal problems of the old hydrants. He was professional, polite, and positive explaining as the hours went on. The quality of his completed work was excellent and I felt that he went over and above to complete the job in a professional way. He left the sites clean and picked up! I insisted on paying him a fair wage for his services. He was here almost 7 hours instead of 3!!
