Description of Work: We had an emergency, water was dripping off the ceiling caused by a leaking toilet upstairs. The service was Ok but we feel we were overcharged. Other companies told us they charge about $500 for this service. We are new to the area and they took advantage of our emergency situation.

Description of Work: My gas water heater went began leaking one Saturday morning. I had no idea who to call. Apollo was at the top of the list. I called and no one answered so began moving down the list and my phone rang. He called me back and apologized for missing my call. I explained what was happening and by that evening he arrived with a new tank and installed it. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know about it. He was quick and efficient and we had hot water less than 12 hours after finding the leak. Very happy with Apollo

Description of Work: There is nobody more fair and responsive than Apollo. We've used them a few times now for various issues and they are always up front and transparent on pricing & effort, the quality of work is second to none and they are professional in both attitude and appearance while still being friendly and personable. ...for the record, I don't work for them or know anyone who does, I just believe in fantastic service - its not easy find at this level!

Description of Work: Mathew provide service for us and replaced a corroded pressure release valve(PRV). Mathew provided excellent service and did a great job. I highly recommend him. I think my only problem was the cost was way too high. I was verbally told the approximate cost $1200-$1800 and from a worst case scenerio, which it turned out not to be the case for my issue once it was diagnosed. The work was basically to dig around the PRV and replace it with a new one. It took about 4-5 hrs total. I even dug about a third of the hole thinking I could saved some of the money on his time and labor. The part itself was less then $100, so $300/hr for labor is quite extreme. I would use them again, but would make sure they justify their cost structure before the work is to be done. I made the mistake of letting him do the work without first knowing the exact price after the plumbing issue was diagnosed. I assumed that the price would be under the low quoted price, plus I helped dig the hole. Never assume and lessons learned!

Description of Work: $1200 was the cost. Feedback- they were very prompt in getting ahold of me and on time when they arrived. I tried to tell the guy that there was something wrong underneath but he didn't listen to me and insisted that whoever did the job last time just didn't set the toilet correctly and he would reset it for $350. I was irritated because he would not listen to me in the beginning. He ended up looking more into it and then realized I was correct in my diagnosis of it being a bigger job. He was able to come back a couple days later and fix it. I appreciate the fact that they have a warrantee on their work.

Description of Work: They cleaned out a toilet waste line.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink with garbage disposal draining slowly. I had already cleaned traps. They have a base charge of $245 for everything. The plumber ran a snake through the drain line. Said he felt some resistance when he did. Line was still slow in draining. Said he thought the rubber protector on disposal was creating a barrier to flowing water. Had not seen in his 11years of experience. Suggested pressure cleaning of lines or replacing disposal and bio cleansing of lines. Charged a lot for doing very little and suggested ways to spend a lot more. I was not very happy.

Description of Work: We had been out of town for 10 days and the sink was not used. Needless to say it congealed. They broke it loose and cleaned out the bad stuff.

Description of Work: Water was leaking from base of toilet when shower was used. Technician removed toilet, camera-scoped the line, reset toilet. Time spent was about one and a half hours. No blockage was found - some roots that might cause a problem later. Verdict was that the wax ring had not been properly seated when toilet was installed a year ago. Price seemed high for less than 2 hours work. I called and found out they do not charge by the hour, but have a flat fee billing rate - $275 to reseat the toilet, $275 to scope the line.

Description of Work: Hose bib replacement

Description of Work: They replaced our water line from the house to the water meter. They also replaced the hose bib and the water shut-off from a faucet to a lever at no cost. They did the job in one day and left the job site in great shape. No more water leak. A tree root had damaged the old line.

Description of Work: Apollo really did me a great service by being upfront about the risks of having them drain my hot water heater. I opted not to have the hot water heater drained because of the risks. Their integrity is commendable and I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced 1 hose Bibb with 2 at new locations. They installed new water lines in the crawl space and new high quality bibs. Matthew did a great job of going over the details and wasn't in a huge hurry to explain. He clarified expectations very well for the estimate and before doing the job. His attention to details were evident during the work and in the finished job. He also seems to enjoy his work which I appreciate as the customer. Matthew also provided useful information about other aspects of my water system and water heater. He called back after the weekend to see if I was satisfied with the work. Also the woman who does the scheduling , I think is Debbie, was very nice to work with and really on the ball. She provided a very positive first impression of the company.

Description of Work: Replaced leaking outdoor faucet which required cutting through wall inside the house.
