I called Apollo Plumbing, Office 425 387-1507, to assess a leaking home water heater and replace it, if necessary. The company was responsive to my schedule and the next day, Mark called to confirm the appointment. I asked Mark to provide me with replacement options in price and capabilities. He called back and we discussed the options. Later, Mark arrived and inspected the leak -- I needed a new water heater. He quickly and neatly installed the new water heater and briefed me on its homeowner maintenance. I was very pleased with the customer service and professionalism. He answered all my questions and provided helpful plumbing tips for a homeowner. I plan to use Apollo Plumbing to help me maintain a rental house, too.

Matthew called to let me know he was on his way to fix my kitchen supply line leaks and dishwasher hose and was there when he promised. Especially impressive to get quick service when I had called less than 24 hours before. He explained exactly what he would be doing and the cost before starting to work. As he worked he explained what he was doing and gave me some great tips that I can use to keep my faucets operating and lasting longer. He reassured me that a hot water tank installed by another company was done correctly (how often do you get someone who says bad things about the competition? - not this comopany!) Matthew was exceedingly polite and cleaned everything up, even the cover to my dishwasher access panel! I am very satisfied with the service I received from Apollo Plumbing and would use them again.

Had what I thought was a broken shower faucet knob, but being a layman, wasn't sure and wasn't going to risk trying to repair it if it turned out something more complicated. Dan was courteous and professional in returning my original inquiry and was prompt in showing up at the appointed time. Dan was clear in explaining and diagnosing the issue (broken knob and worn cartridge) and what his repair plan was. He completed the repairs in a timely manner and was friendly and informative throughout the process. Price was fair and Dan adjusted the bill for the Angie's List coupon without me needing to mention it. Overall, it was a pleasant and professional experience.

Apollo was the second plumbing company off Angie's List that I called regarding a water line leak located underneath my house in the crawlspace. The first plumber wasn't good with communication and keeping to appointments so that's why I gave Apollo a call. The problem was a leak in my old, galvanized line approximately where it pops above ground underneath my house (a linear run of approximately 65-70 feet from the shut-off valve at the street). I dealt with Dan, the owner, during the entire process and he was always courteous, responsive, and very knowledgeable. Dan's bid came in within $100 of my first bid and offered to discount the water heater work if I bundled the work with the water line replacement. Unlike the other contractor I had contacted, Apollo did not require any down payment to schedule the work; the entire amount was due upon completion (the other plumber required 50% down in order to schedule the job). I felt reassured by Dan's knowledge and familiarity with my local permitting requirements so I went ahead and scheduled the work. He told me that he expected the work (both the water line replacement and water heater installation) to be completed in one day. A few hours into the work day, Dan called me to update me on the progress, which was proceeding without any issues. True to his word, the work was completed by the end of the day but the city's inspector could not approve the work until the next morning. One of Dan's employees worked late that day to ensure that everything was in place for the inspector the next day. Sure enough, the inspector came the next day and all of Dan's work passed with no problems. It's never fun to have to spend $4,000 on a repair but Dan and his crew made it as painless as possible.

I called Dan on a Sunday because my husband noticed the shower in our rental did not drain. I was able to wait till Monday for an appointment. Dan came out later that morning to assess and came back again after a couple hours with the supplies needed to fix the blockage. Everything was A+ about his service. I would call him again. Found the blocked pipe area right away and replaced it. He was very professional and knowledgeable about his trade.

The best experience with a plumbing company I have EVER had. There were two issues that I set up an appointment for. Matthew explained what he was going to do, and why. He made sure I understood what was going on each step of the way and didn't make me feel ignorant for not knowing how a house plumbing system works. Not only did he do a fabulous job for the two things I needed done, but he took time to explain how my water heater works and the maintenance I should do (on my own) to avoid shortening the tank life. Very, very happy that I called Apollo (chosen by other Angie's list reviews)!!

Overall a great experience. Although disappointed that a two year old home required plumbing repairs, Apollo was quick, professional and provided a thorough repair.

Matthew did a great job from the start and finish of the job. Although he came later then it was expected, due to a pervious job that he was at. He encourage questions to be asked about the repair and even took time to check a water hammering issue. He didn't decide to cut a hole right away in the dry wall to fix the 1" water line, but instead replace the pipe causing the problem. I would recommend this company for future jobs.

Thank you Dan and his top notch service people for being helpful, incredibly professional and friendly. My water heater broke and leaked everywhere. I had no idea what to do. I called around for several estimates and theirs was very competitive. What made the decision easiest was the concern Dan shared over the phone as he made his technician available within the hour. The tech gave me hot water in an hour! And actually taught me about my water system. THANK YOU What seemed like a disaster was made easier by a call. I will use their service for all my plumbing needs and could not recommend them highly enough.

We discovered that our master bedroom shower was leaking all the way into the garage. We immediately called Apollo Plumbing because of their great reviews in Angie's List. They were very responsive and came to the house on the same day. They immediately found the problem, which thankfully only required a small hole in the garage wall. Matthew was extremely professional but also very customer focused and friendly. We will definitely call Apollo again for all of our plumbing needs.

We were without water service from Friday (when we turned off the water) until Tuesday afternoon. We could turn it on for emergencies and flushing, showers, dishwasher needs. We now appreciate our Water Service the same way we appreciate the electricity when it was out for 8 days a few years ago.

Things couldn't have gone any better. Matthew explained that he wasn't sure that the problem would be fixed so easily, and was careful to warn me that there would be a charge whether or not it was successful. However, it worked like a charm and was well worth the investment. He was very cautious about my 2 cats - concerned about them getting out the door as he worked, and his cleanup job after finishing was impeccable. Thank you Matthew and Apollo plumbing for coming to my rescue!

We needed quick assistance on a leak, which was causing water damage to the garage. Apollo Plumbing was able to meet up with us in real short notice. The gentleman, Dan (Owner), who helped us was extremely professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to pinpoint the problem quickly. He was very thorough. Dan checked the other areas and gave us some great recommendations to help us avoid problems in the future, which was greatly appreciated. He was upfront and honest about the tub work and helped us save our money, rather than allow us to spend it on work that wasn't necessary. Apollo Plumbing is a smaller outfit, but it doesn't hurt the level of professionalism, promptness and quality of work you get!

I called Dan as I have had him do some work before. I was given an approximate time and told that Mark would be coming out. I received a call from Mark that he had finished his other job early and would be at my house next. He looked at both drains and saw what was happening. He snaked both drains and tested them for a while to make sure that they were fixed. I am grateful that they were able to come out the same day and get the drains fixed. I really would call no other plumber.

I picked them because they had a real high rating on the list, they weren't that far away, and they responded to my information. They know what they are doing and I am very comfortable with them in my home. They get a B on price because they weren't real clear on how much it was going to be before they got here, but everything else was fine.

They were really professional and really on time. I called that morning and they were there that afternoon. They were just on top of it. The guy that showed up was really professional.

After emailing and leaving voicemails and getting no response from 2 other companies on Angies List, I saw an ad on TV for Apollo Plumbing, mentioning that they were on Angies List, so I called and spoke with Dan. I needed to have a new disposal installed as well as look for a possible leak near the dish washer. Dan told me that Mark would be there shortly. I was given an estimate of about $200.00, not knowing fully if there was a leak or not as well as not realizing the clog was there.. Mark arrived and started to remove the old disposal and the piping connected to it. When he opened the piping, there was a large clog right at the opening of the connecting pipe. My drain had been slow in draining, so it made sense that this was more than just the broken disposal. Mark recommended the jet cleaning and offered a discount off the usual $275 charge since he was there, cutting it in 1/2. He proceeded to unclog the pipe, including running a 25' line down the piping clearing other possible clogs further down the line. Mark finished installing the disposal, using new PVC piping to from the new disposal to the main piping. The job was very well done and the drain worked well emptying the sinks quickly. Mark looked for the possible leak, but found none. I had a previously leaking dishwasher which was replaced a few months earlier, so the soft spots were from residual water as the new flooring under the washer was bone dry and not stained whatsoever. Mark then fixed the faucet gasket which was blocking the handle from extending out of the holder. Mark was there right at 2 hours. There was some confusion on the billing, which I did not catch until after Mark had left, so I called and spoke with Dan who fixed it and I am pleased with the costs and the service. Be advised that the plumbing service does usually cost $150/hr plus $50 travel fee to job site. I was given an Angies List discount as well as Dan cut the cost of the jetting service 75%. I am pleased with the work.

Wanting to keep the expense low and willing to do some digging, I was advised of where and how far to dig the line to complete the repair (including safety advise of digging below grade). Over 30 feet of sewer line needed to be replaced, including two 90 degree corners with clean outs. Recommend Apollo to diagnose prior faulty repairs and work with homeowner to minimize overall cost.

First, I called Dan the night before, since we noticed our water heater was leaking. He was extremely helpful and walked us through step by step to make sure we were able to turn everything off appropriately for the night. He came out in the morning and completed draining the water heater, disconnected and removed it, and made some calls to double check for warranty availability and to see if a larger tank size would fit. He communicated throughout to let me know what he was doing and why, and he was very professional and personal. He was able to install a larger water heater, got everything set up fine, and explained what to to expect for hot water to return. I even called him later to ask about why the water pressure coming out of ONLY the kitchen sink was slower. He explained about the aerator; I was able to take it out (and take it apart), clean it thoroughly, and put it back. It worked fine. But he had even offered to come back to take a look at it and fix it himself. Service indeed!!

After moving into our "new" (previously owned) house, we were advised by a PSE serviceman to get our ancient hot water heater replaced (even though it was not yet leaking). I took a couple of days for research and got three bids on the job. I ended up contracting with Apollo Plumbing and I'm delighted that I did!! When I called and talked with Dan, he took lots of time explaining what they would do, telling me about the brand of water heater, its dimensions and its use in our circumstances. He was great--even though I had told him that I would be getting estimates from other companies. Considering the prices I got--even though another company would have been giving me a Home Depot discount--Apollo's was less expensive, and other reports from Angies List gave me confidence that they know what they are doing. When I called Dan back, he scheduled Mark to come the next day. Mark called the morning of the appointment to let me know exactly when he'd be here. He came, efficiently did all the work required, cleaned up all his equipment, and asked if I had any other plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. We had had a foul smell coming from one of the shower drains, and I was worried that it might be a major problem. Mark checked it out, fixed a minor issue that took a few minutes, and then made sure that the P-trap and vent were working--and we haven't had a problem since.I'm sure we'll have other plumbing needs in our "new" house--and I'll be happy to call Apollo again.

Crew arrived on time - plumbing crew and the landscape boring crew. Whole process took 4.5 hours. I had gas and electric lines going right over the water pipe so the crew dug a 2'x3' experimental hole in the lawn to make sure they would not hit those lines. Dirt and sod was saved on a tarp and replaced. A 1.5'x1.5'piece of cement garage floor was also removed in the corner of the garage where the water connections were located. I really appreciated Dan walking me through the process, showing me that in fact we did have the blue pipe that was involved in several malfunction lawsuits in the 90's, that are line was curving back into the garage and driveway and he also showed me where our sewer line was located. He took the time to show me all the shut off valves and how to turn off both at the house and at the meter. I would definitely call Apollo Plumbing again.

I used Apollo Plumbing several times over the years and Dan Barger has become my trusted professional for my plumbing needs. I used him to install a new water heater in my office and once to fix a small leak I had due to freezing in my barn. The real test however was this last year and the entire reason I signed up for AL. Superbowl Sunday morning my neighbor and I (who share a well) wake up to no water. We check up by the pump house and for some reason it is broken and leaking all over. Our wives are p***** and it is superbowl Sunday for crying out loud!!!! I called Dan knowing there was no way that he would be able or willing to come out. He was there within about an hour, spent hours in the mud chasing down the leak and fixed it. He definately missed the game and I did not. I have referred him to several friends and family members who also have had good experiences. Thanks Dan Barger and Apollo Plumbing.

I left the previous negative rating on this company. The owner, Dan Borger, phoned me this morning with a sincere apology for my experience with his employee. Too bad he (for me) that he was on vacation at the time as he sounds like an absolutely charming man. Within 4 hours, there was a delivery with a full refund. He strikes me as a very professional business owner that stands behind his reputation. I feel certain that my prior experience was an isolated event...not likely to be repeated.
