Apollo Plumbing

In August we contacted Apollo Plumbing to replace the outdoor faucet at the front of our house because we could no longer keep it from leaking. As we had expected, due to the age of our plumbing, the interior wall needed to be opened in order to access the pipe to replace the faucet. Matthew very professionally explained every detail of what that would entail. I was invited to watch and ask questions throughout the process. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. The hole in the drywall was smaller than was expected, and the entire area was clean and dry when he was done. When the $99 Angie's List Deal was offered, we purchased it to have the back faucet replaced, knowing that there would be an extra charge to open the wall. We asked for Matthew to do the work, and, once again, we were not disappointed. We have found a plumber that we will contact again in the future because of the service that we received. Daniel came out earlier than I expected which was awesome. He listened to the sound I heard inside the house, asked questions and listened to my thoughts and what I had already done to try and figure it out. There was a noise as if water was running somewhere, but no water was running in the house. He suited up and went under the house and found a pretty bad leak that was causing pools of water to accumulate and damaging the sub-floor. He quickly came out and turned off the water and repaired the leak within a minimal amount of time. He gave me a number for a company to come out and repair and clean up the water damage and explained about mold and the importance of drying everything out. I would recommend Daniel at Apollo Plumbing. I appreciated his patience and professionalism.

Prompt, courteous, performed services for price specified and used good materials and quality of performance. I would recommend for future use!

The work that he did turned out well. He explained the misunderstanding about the Big Deal wording before starting the work and offered us to back out. I opted to have the work done. He needed to go into the crawl space which cost me an additional $165.

Not good. Plumbing company representative stated after looking at my faucet that the fine print of this deal states "must have exposed plumbing". I don't have exposed plumbing so no work was performed. After the service provider left I re-read the "fine print" of this Big Deal and was unable to find the requirement of exposed plumbing.

My outside pipe bursts every winter. I thought I was purchasing an underground frost free pipe system. My coupon was for a replacement of the bib. It was a misunderstanding on my part but the plumber was very understanding and courteous. Sorry for this mess I have placed upon you. I will make sure my next purchase is something I can use!

I needed to replace a NG water heater. Have quotes with all adds (exp tank, permit, straps, hoses, nipples, valves, haul away) from Lowes, HD, Sears and Sundance, installer of existing tank. Labor and all accessories were quoted separate from water heater. Highest price quoted was $525. Highest price including a 50 gallon was $1295 plus tax from Sundance. Other 3 were within $100 of $1000. All had minimum 6 year warranties. Apollo will only install water heaters they provide. Their phone price was $1800.

Excellent, super fast response to request. Plumber took time to explain options, and solutions. We found him to be polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Everything was resolved and we appreciated his helpful hints in keeping our drain problems free.

We purchased the provider's $99 outdoor faucet replacement Big Deal. Provider called 10 minutes after he was to have arrived to let us know he would be late. When he arrived he informed us that he could not do the work stated, the fine print stated that it would be extra for him to go in the crawl space, therefore to replace the outdoor faucet it would not be the $99 quoted, but $350. We respectfully declined his offer.

Very professional and friendly. We have a bathroom in the basement that is below the sewer line. The pump went out. We called Apollo because of the positive reviews on Angie's List. Apollo gave us a two hour window but showed up within the first minute of the window. The guy was kind and performed the dirty job with complete professionalism.

Apollo Plumbing is a top notch service provider that not met but exceeded my expectations.Mathew was our plumber who I have nothing but positive comments to make about his prompt, efficient professionalism when called out on a third job I needed help with. He was knowledgable and meticulous about his work ethic, as well as, having an interest in making sure that his customers understand his area of expertise. Not only that, but Mathew is honest, which is evident by his ability to get the job done well, but without making extra repairs that are not necessary. His is excellent at explaining details and in his overall communication. I was very pleased with this company who responds quickly, accesses fairly and explains to the customer the job and parts that are needed to make repairs. Apollo plumbing was fast and friendly and professional. We noticed A drp of water coming through our ceiling just below the upstairs shower on a Saturday evening. I called Apollo and they came out Sunday morning at regular cost - no extreme weekend or holiday fees. The serviceman was great. He called his supervisor to confirm the diagnosis and was able to complete the repair right away for the price he quoted. We would definitely call them again!

The job was completed to my satisfaction by Mark Bailey in a very professional and timely manner. Mr. Bailey was very detail oriented, attentive and went above and beyond of what was required of him. I could not have been more pleased. Thank you.

They will do a toilet tuneup

I accidentally scheduled it for the wrong day, after realizing they were not coming today and it was my mistake, we called to change it to the following week they offered to just have it done today! The work was quick & professional and the plumber was extremely nice. Everything was cleaned up and tested. Thanks!

Service could not have been any better - prompt same-day arrival, repair completed very quickly by a friendly and efficient plumber. This is my second experience with Apollo, and this was just as positive as the first - thank you Dan!

Prior to purchasing this Deal, I called the provider to see if the Big Deal (toilet tune-up) covered my issue. It sounded like indeed it would. The technician said my toilet needed a rebuild, which was different than a tune-up, and would neither honor the Big Deal nor apply it to the cost of the service. I would have to pay for the cost of the service, and apply for a refund of the Big Deal. I was disappointed, and thought at least I would receive a similar discount, as that is why I called this company. In any event, the technician was timely, polite, and seems to have repaired my toiled.

He made every effort to move the appointment up from the scheduled time. He quoted each service up front and I thought he would add a labor charge at the end but he didn't. There was a problem that soon after he left the sink plumbing gave out and water was pouring out. He came back and said everything was fine when he left and that it was the the other side that gave out, not the repaired side. He put in a new part and didn't charge for that and all has been fine.

Matthew came out right away to look at the job I needed him to do. He was very polite and confident in his skills and ability to accomplish the task. I scheduled a follow-up appointment with Matthew to complete the work and he was on time and ready to work. Matthew came up with a plan for this not so easy task and accomplished it with true professionalism! Matthew was very polite the entire time and took time to explain to me what he had done. I really appreciated the promptness of this company and its employees. I will be calling back to have some more work done!

Unfortunately, I was unable to use the deal because it only applied to a certain make and model of a toilet. However, the company was very nice and professional. I will definitely use them in the future.

I was very satisfied with them, they did a good job.

He said that the inside parts needed to be replaced as well as the toilet turnoff. The next day the toilet was still leaking water and I called the co. about it. The same guy came by and found that it was just a chain that got caught in something. Toilet was fine after that.

They were really nice and came out rather quickly. I however still have the same problem with my flush that I originally had before they came out which is why I was not really sure if they has fixed anything. I was really impressed with the guy who came out as he was extremely nice.

The appointment went very well.

Excellent. The cap to the cleanout entry to the home sewer system had been glued by the previous owner. The tech took the time to heat the cap so it would come off. The exam was done and the system proved to be intact, clear and working as it should. Fine Job.
