I am very pleased with Apollo plumbing. A week before placing our home up for sale, we experienced a water line blow out in our garage due to freezing weather. Not knowing who to call, a friend recommend Dan with Apollo plumbing. He was able to help us out immediately. We were given estimates on different options to replace the pipe and chose a high quality material so the next home owner won't have to deal with it. Dan worked very efficiently and had the job done before I knew it. I couldn't ask for a nicer more knowledgeable guy to work with. I will definitely use Apollo plumbing again if we have problems in our new place.

The service was prompt, they came out same day. They were polite and professional, and the price was good for the type of service performed. They were able to fix the problem same day, and the problem has not returned. Dan, the owner, called to follow-up with us and make sure that the problem was resolved. Overall, our experience with Apollo Plumbing was much better than similar services in the area. I would highly recommend them.

We were very pleased. The technician/plumber was punctual, knowledgeable and polite. They did a lot of work and the quality was good. The Angie's list deal was good for them and good for us.

I am the manager of Lake Stevens Manor Apartments in Lake Stevens Washington. I had major plumbing and sewer issues in all 7 of my buildings. I called multiple plumbing companies to get estimates, the other companies were flakey and/or unprofessional. It took several weeks to get actual qoutes from other companies. I called Apollo Plumbing in the evening, they came out the very next morning and I had an estimate given to me that same morning. Their rates are competetive and the staff was professional and courteous. Once we selected them as the plumbing company we were going to use, they were extremely flexible and worked with our policies and processes, which are not easy. They referred us to other contractors we needed to get the job done and worked with them to coordinate the project. They completed the repairs quicker then expected and did a great job. They communicated well and made sure I understood what was needed and how the progress was going. They remained professional and courteous through the entire process. I would definitely use them again and refer them for any plumbing need.

The big deal was for a water heater flush and plumbing inspection. The plumber from Apollo arrived and examined the water heater. He said that because of the water heater's age, flushing it might cause damage to other plumbing fixtures. He was very honest and advised us to seek a refund from Angies List as he could not recommend performing the service. We appreciated his honesty.

They did try to sell us a more expensive faucet than what we had already purchased. The Big Deal didn’t come close to covering the installation of the faucet. We paid about $300 at the end of the project.

When the plumber, Mark, showed up and I told him that the basement shower was plugged up, He did the usual checks (run the toilet, the sink, etc.) I told him that we were on a septic system. He went outside and dug around the tank and I was told that he would charge me $125 for that. There is no direct access to the pipe from the house to the tank. That was a problem and I understand that I have to address that issue with the septic tank folks. There was a lot of talk "I could take the toilet out" I told him that this had happened before and Roto Router came out and took care of it. He then decided to go to his truck and get the snake. While he was working on it, he mentioned that it would cost $225. I said okay. He also said that he could use the 75 foot snake, but that would cost more. Really!!?? Using the shorter snake did the trick and the drain was cleared. Now, all of this took 2 hours, mind you. This should have been tried immediately. I wrote a check and after he left, I realized that he charged me $175 instead of $125 for the service call. I KNOW I heard him right. I'm guessing here, I am an elderly female and he thought I would not notice. But I did notice when I took a closer look at the invoice after he left. I was also told that there were heaper plumbers out there. but they (Apollo) were doing a lot of advertising that cost money. Why tell me that?? A justification, maybe? I gave him a good review on the card he handed me, but I would like to withdraw that evaluation. 'This is a cautionary tale. Not all members on Angie's list will be the best choice. Very disappointing. I have been a member for 2 years and this is the first time I have used it.

Apollo Plumbing responded quickly and courteously to my request to schedule service. I let them know that I wanted to replace the flushing mechanisms in our toilets, and an appointment was established. When the plumber arrived I explained that 4 years ago we'd replaced the unreliable flushing mechanism in one of our toilets and that we wanted to do the same in our other toilets (the plumber who did the job 4 years ago has retired). All the toilets - including the one successfully fixed 4 years ago - are the same make and model (American Standard) and I had purchased the same parts for all toilets at Aurora Plumbing. I showed the part to the Apollo plumber and again stated that I wanted to replace the flushing mechanisms in our toilets. The plumber didn't seem to be interested in the part. I never once said that the toilets were "running" but the plumber said (more than once) "so your toilets are running - that's easy to adjust". I don't think the plumber listened to what I said I wanted done, and I definitely don't think he wanted to have to remove the toilet tank. He said that there was no way to know which part would fit as there were "thousands of parts". (It didn't seem to matter to him that the same part was successfully installed in the same model toilet down the hall.) He also said that if he replaced the part, the gasket would "probably" need to be replaced when he removed the tank (so... replace the gasket!). He said that if he started to replace the part and it wasn't the right one it would be "a big hassle" for him. Since he didn't seem to be too excited about the part I'd purchased I asked if he could tell by the toilet which part it needed. He said "no" and again made a comment along the lines of "so the toilet is running?". In the 15 minutes the plumber was in our home the impression I got was that he didn't want to do the job because it involved removing the toilet tank. He essentially said that he didn't know if the part was right or if it would need a gasket, he did not give me any indication of what it would cost to replace the parts, and he left. So $49 for 15 minutes was a disappointing experience. I don't make $49 in 2 hours, let alone in 15 minutes. I was clear throughout this experience that I wanted the flushing mechanisms replaced, not adjusted. And although I'm sure it's no fun to remove a toilet tank, I think the job I wanted done was straightforward and reasonable.

Prompt and after they came we developed a new issue and they came back for free. tried cheapest fix rather than just replacement.

We purchased the deal to have an outdoor faucet replaced for $111.00. In the Deal Details, it is stated that this normally costs $370.00. The technician showed up, opened the access to the crawlspace, then came back and told us that the charge would be $345.00! He said the $111.00 price was for easy access jobs, such as when the faucet could be accessed from inside a garage (so the normal charge for the easy access job is $370.00, but the charge for the more difficult access job is $345.00??) I see that the deal states: "Jobs that require crawlspace access may incur additional fees/costs", but this seems like a bait and switch to me. I need a refund.

It was easy to arrange an appointment with Appollo. The man showed up on time. He was there for a tune up but once he looked at the brand of my toilet he told me there was nothing he could do, the toilet was just poor quality. He didnt even fittle around with it and all I wanted him to do was fix a handle. He did offer to sell me a toilet for $700 but I was not up for that. |If its true that there was nothing he could do then fine but I just felt that he didnt even look.

Contacted this company based on an Angie's List special due to my toilets not flushing well. Had considerable difficulty getting this company to call me back to schedule an apt. Finally emailed Angie's List and shortly thereafter received a call to make an apt. The plumber making the house call recommended I buy new toilets based on the age of the ones in my house and how they were functioning. He made a recommendation as to what I should purchase, but in retrospect I should have asked to look at what was available. Nevertheless the new toilets are functioning well and there are no more flushing problems. Plumber who did the installation arrived on time and was very professional.

They returned my call promptly and set an appointment for the next day. The work was performed in a professional timely manner.

They did a perfect job! They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional.

They said there are 2 options the snake($700) or water Blaster($600) But they can't water blast it since there equipment isn't working because it was left out in the cold and its now frozen. So the only option really is the more expensive snaking option. I had no choice so I said yes. $700 later I get a call, that it didn't work and the city needs to unclog their drains before we can unclog ours. I called the city and they unclogged their sewer pipes right away and said I need to call the plumber out again because our drains are still clogged. I called them out again and this time their water blaster equipment was working but its going to cost $600 for them to use the pressure blaster to unclog the drain. I felt stuck and I just asked why so much, he said it was a different process and they charge for each process. $1,300 later, I called the cities sewer company and talked with the guy that unclogged the city sewer part and he said I was over charged and that they should never us a snake chain to unclog a sewer pipe, since the pipe is 4" wide and the snake only remove 2" of clog. Even though he was really nice I felt like I should be charged to unclog the sewer not each unclogging method.

Beware of Apollo Plumbing for arbitrary pricing and unnecessary repair recommendations. The plumber did arrive at the time he said he would be there, and within 3 minutes had determined that the leak under my kitchen sink was due to a leak in the faucet. ?Faucets can?t be repaired but need to be replaced.? The price quoted for faucet replacement was ?about $750?. The same identical faucet on Lowe?s web-site was listed at $241. Time for installation was 30 to 45 minutes. After the faucet was replaced, there was still a leak under my sink. The leak was coming from the plastic valve attached to the sink water line connection. (What a rare coincidence that my sink faucet and sink water line developed simultaneous leaks!) The price quoted for replacement of the leaking valve and good valve was ?about $200.? The cost for 2 metal valves was $20. Time for replacement was 5 to 10 minutes. I expressed my concern about the large bill, and I asked the plumber what his hourly rate was for labor. I was told that the company charged by the job. When I pressed him for an hourly rate, I was told ?about $225/hour?. I spoke to the owner of the company, and he did make some adjustments to the final bill. However, I still question if the repairs were all necessary, and if I hadn?t complained, I would have paid several hundred dollars more for questionable service.

He just patched it for the time-being. He should have told me how to do it. Another plumber showed me how to prevent bursting pipes in the winter.

Fixed toilet, valves controlling water temperature in shower faucets and installed new drain on one bathroom sink.

Scheduled a time (they met), provided both cost and time for work (again met). In addition, obtained rough estimate for future work under consideration. Very happy that I now have a 'go to' plumbing service I can rely on.

The repair man was hear on time. He was very professional. He gave me the estimate of 365 for the work. plus 50 for the service call. When I asked about the time it will take I was told that it is 1 to 1.5 hours. He was done in less then one hour. If I have another emergency I'll call them but if it is not I'll call some one else since the price was more then I expected to pay for an hour of work.

THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN ABOUT 1/2 HOUR. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DID NOT GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE BEFORE STARTING. THE PARTS COST [AT HOME DEPOT IS ABOUT $12.95 FOR THE KIT] THEY CHARGED ME A FLAT RATE OF $225 FOR THAT JOB. THE THEY ADDED A $50.00 SERVICE CHARGE. MY TOTAL BILL WAS $277.04 FOR 1/2 HOUR ! I THINK THIS IS GROSSLY UNFAIR AND OUT OF LINE WITH THE SERVICES RENDERED

We were expecting some work to be done. All that was scheduled by the company was the estimate. We had emailed the company what the job was: changing out the fixtures from gold to chrome. The toilet had already been done so this was for a single sink and the tub/shower. We had purchased everything, which he said was not correct because he couldn't connect another manufacturer's product to Kohler. He was going to order some of the trim. He came out and gave us an estimate of $675 (+ $149 Big Deal) which he said would be higher if he had to go under the house. I asked how long he would be working for that amount of money and he said "considerable". We advised him that we thought it was high for the work to be done. He replied that various plumbing contractors charge various amounts. He was polite and professional, but we called the next morning to cancel the appointment for the following morning.

Apollo was very professional and personable. Would enthusiastically use them again.
