Apollo Plumbing

I contacted Apollo a Monday evening because of a mainline clog in my house. Debbie got me scheduled with Matthew for Tuesday Morning. Matthew called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He checked the main line, confirmed the clog, offered several options to clear it, and then went to work fixing the issue. He gave me recommendations on how to prevent clogs in the future and also recommended some other work I should do that will save me money down the road. I truly wouldn't have another plumber touch my house after using Apollo. They are professional & friendly, they have equipment that is well maintained, employees who care about the quality of their work, and who are very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. I will also say that I had a TERRIBLE experience with the last plumbing job I had done at my home, which makes me appreciate Apollo even more.

I called on a Tuesday, they were able to come out for a quote on Wednesday and do the repairs on a Thursday. It was great to have everything finished so quickly. Mark was punctual and was good about explaining what work needed to be done. When I asked why the cost was so high I got a vague answer so I think I could have found a better price if I shopped around but I needed the repair done sooner rather than later. I'm confident the repairs were done correctly and with the best materials. I would hire Apollo again.

Doing business with Apollo Plumbing was a great experience from my very first contact. Debbie was very efficient and accommodating. She kept in touch through the completion of the repair visit. Quinn came out to do the repairs. He was great! He answered all of my many questions and made recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and I could tell that he was going to get the job done. He completed the repairs very efficiently. I am a very satisfied customer!

Plumbing appeared clogged at the sewer level. After reading reviews on Angislist we contacted Apollo Plumbing for the first time, their guy named Daniel came in the morning. He used a snake and partly free up the clog. What really bothers us is his lack of skill, lack of willingness to solve the problem, and questionable ethics. He "strongly" suggested the following: break open asphalt 4-5 feet radius around the clogged toilet, then cut the pipe open and see the cause. That seemed absurd so we didn't take his advice, we found out later not only was his "strong" suggestion unnecessary, but would've been very costly and created other huge problems. He then referred a cleaning company called "All New Again", two guys from there came, they were con-artists attempting to incite fear exaggerating the situation and manipulate people to use their service at outrageous prices. Perhaps it may have been just this guy Daniel that was the problem in the company, but having people like that shows the type of business Apollo Plumbing runs. We paid for the work they didn't deserve to get paid. Beware of aspects we mentioned here about this company, if we had known we would not have used them. We wish them the best and hope they will make changes in areas we mentioned in a positive way. ----- 11/27/15 Apollo called me apologizing for the bad experience we have had and asked if they can do anything to correct the situation. They said Daniel the plumber is no longer with the company. I appreciate their call and told them he may have been an odd employee whom they failed during their screening process, unfortunately such do happen.

They showed up on time and replaced our disposal with out any problems. The installer was courteous and took time to answer any question.

They were terrific! Mark was there right on time and came in with a quote that was less than I expected. We had a very old do-it-yourself job on the sink drain installation, and he quickly replaced the pipes and drain, it looks terrific under there now. He also found the source of a treaky slow leak in the bathroom and was able to fix it with caulk - hios diangnosis turned out to be correct as no leaks have resurfaced. Apollo, was quick, professional, and good on price, I would recommend them to anyone.

Mark was prompt, friendly and professional. I had originally scheduled this for a Monday but on the prior Friday the water heater actually started leaking. I contacted Debbie at Apollo and she arranged for Mark to come out Friday afternoon. The new water heater is a big improvement on the 15 year old tank we had before.

Excellent. I had called a different plumber first who came out and said it was an unusual part and I'd have to get a speciality plumber and tried to seal me a new faucet. Debbie in the office was so helpful trying to locate the part. When Quinn the plumber came out turned out we didn't need the part and fixed what was really wrong. !He had the parts with him and the faucet works better than ever

Went great. Matthew was super helpful and did a great job.

Scheduling and obtaining information through Debbie in the office was easy. Both she and plumber Matthew were good communicators. I was given a 2-hour window for the appointment and each time Matthew called shortly before arriving. Two outdoor faucets were leaking. One required getting into the wall and replacing freeze-damaged parts. Matthew charged only for that one since the other just needed a new washer. He worked quickly and I appreciated how neatly he cleaned up after he was finished. An old Kohler toilet was leaking and needed a new flapper. After two visits and a special-ordered part, it is obvious that we need a new toilet. We will be ordering that from Apollo and requesting Matthew to do the work. The company is a pleasure to deal with.

Matthew called to let me know he was on his way. He was very professional, yet kind. He really knew his business and checked all three toilets with colored tablets to see if only one was leaking. I ended up asking him to change the flappers in all 3 toilet tanks, because I know the flapper is what usually causes a constantly running toilet, and he did. He also gave me a tip on how to help keep my drains from getting clogged. I can't say enough good things about Matthew. I have used Apollo Plumbing in the past and I am very happy with their service. Dan, the owner, is a very nice man and he makes sure his employees do a great job. I thoroughly recommend this company and I plan on calling them any time I need a plumbing job done right the first time. I will be sure to ask for Matthew again.

Mark came out yesterday to try and locate a leak in my son's bathroom and found out the overflow needed replacing. He did the job quickly and professionally and explained exactly what he did. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a job done well and quickly

The showed up when they said they would and preformed the work quickly and professionally. Everything worked as described.

Daniel arrived and took a look at the work and recognized what the problem was. Instead of charging a pretty large bill, he suggested I fix it myself and save the money. He explained the problem and how to fix it. Super nice guy. It turned out it only cost me $40 to fix myself, otherwise he could have just fixed it and charged over $500. Great customer service, honest and integrity. I will use in the future.

The work performed was acceptable, but the charge was seemingly too high. It was much pricier than I expected it to be, and they wouldn't apply my coupon to the service.

This was a failed cast iron drain line under the house in a crawlspace. The estimate was $4700 for 16-20 hours to replace 8' of 2" drain line. I complained that it didn't seem like a 2 day job, but he assured me that it was "a really huge job". I ended up replacing the pipe myself in under 4 hours. Nice folks, but watch out for your wallet.

I spoke with Dan on the phone and Mark was dispatched within an hour. Mark was very pleasant to work with, provided high quality work very quickly, and at a good price. I would be happy to do business with these folks again.

The young plumber Matthew they sent out was so amazing. He did such a top notch job. He was prompt, courteous, efficient, tidy, professional, polite, bright and knowledgeable. I am so grateful for the wonderful job he did. He was so clean that you couldn't even tell he was there. I say they are the greatest plumbing company I've used. They better hold on to Matthew he impressed me so much with his knowledge.

Matthew from Apollo was knowledgeable and professional. After talking to the company plumber where the product was purchased, Mathew was able to reverse the water lines so the faucet worked as intended. The cost was more than anticipated, but Matthew had to repair someone else's mistake.

i contacted Apollo on Saturday morning (3/14/2015) to change a cartridge in a shower faucet that was running constantly. the gal that answered the phone indicated she just woke up and had to call me back. After a few minutes she called back and i scheduled a Saturday repair. the plumber arrived on site and identified the problem and quoted 275 for the repair. it was costly, but i figured i was paying for Saturday services as well. after about 30 minutes, the plumber called back and said he couldn't complete a repair because the allen screw was stripped out. he said it wasn't a big deal that water was running and water heater was burning to heat water non stop and that he could come back the following week to complete the repair and just charge a $75 trip fee. i insisted that he stop the leak and could come back the next week to complete the repair. After stopping the leak, we scheduled for Tuesday 03/17 at 10 am. he quoted me $650 +tax to finish the repair. i called him out for the outlandish costs (we are looking at about $110 in parts and 1 hour labor). he immediately lowered his price to $500 + tax. i told him i still thought it was high, but will pay it since he started the job already. i confirmed the schedule at 10am on 3/17 and re-arranged my existing meetings to make sure i could come open the unit since the tenant wouldn't be home. after 1020, i called the plumber who denied we had an appointment, after realizing who i was after a couple minutes, he claimed he didn't think we had an appointment because i "didn't reply to a text message" he sent me. i sent home a screen capture of my response to the text and the read receipt from iMessage. he then called me back blamed me for not confirming my appointment with his dispatch service. if i was told to call a dispatch service, i would have. he offered to schedule and appointment and seemingly forgot. Since i burned my morning waiting for the plumber, i told the main office i wasn't going to be using their services. i called my usual handyman who came and finished the job for $200 (parts and labor). On 03/18 i got a call from the apollo office indicating that the plumber was trying to charge my card, but he wrote the card number down wrong. i asked how much they were charging and she indicated it was $375 + tax. i asked where the additional $100 charge came from and they indicated it was due to the plumber drilling out the stripped screw. $100 extra charge for 5 minutes of drilling? i refused the charge and insisted i be charged the fee i agreed upon with the plumber which was $250 ($275 minus the $25 online coupon). i'm a property manager, i don't have enough work to employ a full time handy man and my handyman wasnt available for saturday service. i called what i thought would be a reputable company, but i was obviously mistaken. Companies like apollo take advantage of the naivete of home owners in need of emergency service. the plumber clearly didnt expect me to know what was reasonable for costs. he condescendingly explained what an allen screw was (really) and his indication that hot water running non stop at 1/2 a gallon a minute and a gas water heater running non stop was not a problem. this could have resulted in much costlier repairs if i took his advice that these problems were "not a big deal" and could wait 3-4 days for him to solve. i wont be using apollo ever again and i recommend everyone use caution with this company. lf my handyman is not available in the future, i will drop everything im doing and handle the repair myself.

First of all, Debbie is the SWEETEST gal ever!! She was incredibly patient and flexible with us as we had to move the install date around multiple times. She checked in more than once and genuinely cared making sure we had the best setup for our new home. We truly appreciated Mark's expertise and he did a fantastic job replacing our water heater, all done in a matter of just a few hours. PLUS, he saved us money by giving options and not simply telling us what to do. We would definitely use Apollo again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs a great plumbing company!

We returned home after a weekend away to find water on our garage floor. I followed the source to our 10 year old hot water heater, which had obviously failed. I called Apollo Plumbing when I entered our home. It was Monday night about 8:30 pm. We have used Apollo Plumbing before and have always been thoroughly satisfied with Matthew's work and helpful advice. Matthew was booked up but we were told Daniel would be able to come out around 3:00 pm the following day. In the mean time, Debbie, the receptionist, went through the process of draining the remaining water in tank with me over the phone. She told me she would try to get Daniel out earlier but needed to adjust some scheduling. Debbie asked if I would be home and I told her I would be all day so anytime he could make it out was fine with me. Daniel showed up at 9:00 am, took a look at the situation and gave me the price for replacing our 75 gallon hot water heater. He mentioned he would need to pick it up and I signed the authorization for work. He returned less than an hour later with the new tank. Daniel was very professional, as well as friendly. He took the time to go over a few things with me. Daniel left the area looking much better than it was previously. Many of the new fixtures around the tank were upgrades to what I had previously. The area was left clean and new looking. Daniel even cleaned away some nasty cobwebs. I cannot give this company a better rating. This is a company you do not have to worry about taking advantage of a naive homeowner. Matthew has also previously outlined many options to address our faulty and cheap plumbing fixtures. I am very pleased with Apollo Plumbing and the employees of this fine company.

They came on time and were very informative.

We weren't very happy with the first service, and my mom owns this house, and she said we should never use them again, but then the next two services were fine. We weren't very happy with the first guy. He said that he may not be able to fix it, so we just wasted our money. My mother is elderly and she was mad that she wasted money on it. But, we were told that roto rooting it may not work. It depends on the technician that comes out.

It's worked fine. They made recommendations as far as replacing it which we're going to end up doing. They did two jobs for me. He was excellent too. In fact, I'm trying to have him come out again to do an install. I think his name was Matthew, I'm not sure. He was just very thorough and very no-nonsense. I think cost was a concern, he wasn't there to rip me off. He said, this is what needs to be done and his is what it may cost, let's go and try this first. He did try alternative things. We just moved in this house, I didn't want to mess around and I want it taken care of. He's very good about that. We talked about disposals and stuff. In our new house, they updated our kitchen. They put new appliances and everything but the disposal its a cheap thing so it doesn't grind very well. We talked about replacing it and gave a quote on that. Both of them were excellent. I would recommend Apollo Plumbing to anybody. They're the best. The first one was they installed a pressure thing on top of my hot water tank out of my old house before we sold it. The fellow that did it was excellent. He was really good. They were great. Scheduling was very good.
