If I had known how easy Mike was going to make this for me, I would have had my blinds cleaned years ago. Everything went perfectly, and I recommend this company without reservation. I can't imagine why some people complain. Perhaps they hoped that cleaning would repair their damaged blinds. It doesn't. This company is totally honest.

They were on time and went through the house, removing the blinds and taking them to the truck for cleaning. I was told that the blinds from the porch would not survive another cleaning due to their exposure to the elements. The guy who was working in the house (as opposed to in the truck) was chattier and more judgmental than I prefer, but the job was done well.

The two gentleman were 10 minutes early and started right away. Friendly and professional we are very pleased with the work. Would definitely use them again.

Charging a steep price just to drive out, both ways is just asking for customers to walk away and we did. The competition does not charge a service fee for driving.

I thought it went great until Eric and Mike left and I discovered that the one blind in my bathroom had been damaged. Approximately a 4" by 1" area on the very bottom slat had the finish scraped off down to the metal. I thought that it was strange and deceptive that one or the other of the men had not mentioned this to me before they left. Certainly Eric or Mike had noticed this upon rehanging the blind and separating the slats. It was quite noticeable. I called the service and spoke with a woman who said she was Eric's mother. I explained the situation and she agreed that I should have been notified immediately about the damage. Although she did not offer to replace the blind (I did not ask), she did say that I would be reimbursed for the cleaning of that one particular blind. The charge was $17.50 per blind for the cleaning. She said that I would receive a check in the mail. At this point in time (10/21), I have not seen the reimbursement.

Miserably hot day! The two gentlemen that arrived were on-time and went right to work. I showed them what blinds needed cleaning - they got their equipment and started taking them down and out to their truck. Worked steadily. Blinds were reinstalled looking great! Did some repair work on a blind that had been damaged - good as new! They were helpful and very pleasant to work with.

They (they blinds) were quite dusty and had some accumulated soil from traffic (from windows being open). They do the cleaning in their truck (on site) and re-hang with instructions to leave them down for about 30 to 45 minutes so they will dry. They did dry nicely; they look whiter than they did. I am pleased to have my blinds so clean and bright. I used their 10% off coupon (which I printed out from their listing on Angie's List). I paid with a check since they do not take credit cards.

Top notch customer service! They arranged to work around my tight schedule as I had a lot of other work being done on the house to get it ready to list. They picked up the blinds, cleaned them and held them a week for me at no extra charge. They installed them in a narrow 2 hour window that they needed to be in right before the carpet cleaners arrived. They blinds looked brand new!

Arrived on time. More blinds required repair than anticipated so rather than repair onsite, blinds were taken offsite for repair and returned same day. Very satisfied with the work and scheduling.

The technician called before arrival, confirmed address and arrived shortly after. Good thing he called, I'd forgotten the appointment. I took him through the house, showed him the blinds. He took them down, out to the truck. I watched TV for about 30 minutes. He came back in, hung up the clean blinds. He gave me a quote for window washing, which is up next. Good Guy, good job. Easy.

The two men arrived on time at 8:30am. (I'm so sorry, I don't remember their names. The receipt said M&M.) I proceeded to show them where each of the eleven blinds were located, one which needed repair and one broken bracket. They had a truck in which they completed the actual cleaning. They carefully took down each blind and returned to the truck to work. Later, the bracket was repaired, and they brought in each of the blinds, which were in the rolled-up position. The blinds were carefully installed and checked - they were opened and closed, raised up and down. They were left in an open position and hanging down. The broken blind was restrung on both sides. I was given clear instructions to let the blinds dry for at least 45 minutes so they wouldn't stick together and color didn't come off. I didn't realize just how much cleaning would improve the look of the blinds. They are beautiful. I also have two blinds that were previously unusable and just hung down closed. It's wonderful to be able to have two more usable windows again! I wish I would have had this cleaning and repair done earlier. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. They were finished in a little over two hours! I have already told my sister about your company and the fantastic work you do. Thanks so much.

I have used Shine-A-Blind for blind repairs. It was very positive. I have used them multiply times for blind repairs and I have never had a problem. They seem to be very knowledgeable. I used them last month. It was a repair it was probably $60 they charge by the size of the blind and the number of strings. They tell you ahead of time how much it will be.

Our cats chew through our blind strings, so I have had Shine-A-Blind repair about five of our blinds and shades. They have been accurate in their estimates and prompt in their service.

We had a very positive experience with this company a few years ago when we had them clean all blinds, so we were confident that they would be equally effecient in performing repairs. One blind in particular was in obvious need of repair, so I called and made arrangements for them to come to the house and perform the repair on-site (as opposed to bringing the blind to their shop) and to check out another one which was not functioning quite right. Michael and Steven arrived as scheduled, performed the repair needed (restringing and part replacement) on the broken one, and Steven continued with examining and making adjustments to several other blinds at our requiet. Discovered that several blinds had been incorrectly reinstalled after painters had removed them, so many needed minor adjustments which Steven attended to. Both men were very professional, cordial, and obvioulsy very knowledgeable of their trade. Everything was accomplished within the "minimum charge for house call" ($100) , so we were very pleased with their work, and the price charged.

Very professional company. They did a wonderful job and I will use them again.

I've used Shine-A-Blind a couple of times previously to do similar work. The experience has been consistent. They arrive on time, are good about confirming what I want done, then set about doing the work and move fairly quickly without being sloppy. They've been good about making some changes to the planned work upon arrival. They have a minimum charge for mobile service so be aware of that. They charge a fair price for the cleaning, but I feel that they overcharge for shortening the blind cords. I would especially like to see them provide a discount when doing several, as the cost quickly gets silly for the amount of manual labor required.

The blind cleaning was fine, they did a really good job. I went to them over the holidays and we are able to get the blinds before Christmas, so it was a good experience.

It took a day and a half, we delivered the blinds to them, picked them up (in a torrential downpour). They were repaired well, they let us know that one of our blind sets used components from an out-of-business company so they could not repair them. I applaud their integrity and professionalism.

I find them to be responsible enough to show up on time for the job. They're flexible. If something needs to be repaired they make sure that they inform me. They tell me if I'm going to need a new blind or if the old one is repairable. I feel like they're a trustworthy company.

The owners work as a team in their workshop at home, It's a nice change from a business neighborhood setting. I dropped off the blinds at their place and picked them up the next day. (If you bring them in early in the morning, you can get them back by closing time at 5 pm). Their work was good. They were pleasant, well-informed, & did not try to talk me into what I did not need to do. Promised work done on time. Will use them again.

Excellent service. Initial telephone contact with company POC (Elaine) was very friendly and informative. Eric and Taylor arrived as scheduled, explained the procedure and got everything done in approximately 90 minutes. Both were polite, professional and knowledgeable.

This is a family owned company that operates out of their home in Lynnwood. They do a good job and they know their products. Having someone come out in a truck and remove my blinds, clean them, reinstall them and answer all my questions was wonderfully convenient. They are friendly, prompt and very professional.
