Description of Work: Remove 5 20+ years-old fir trees (now an overgrown 60-foot tall privacy "hedge"). The price was extremely competitive. The work began and ended on time - just a half a day - despite pouring rain! We waited an additional week for the backyard to dry up enough to support the stump grinder. Another day's work there as well. I had additional arbor work performed on several decorative trees. I am VERY SATISFIED with the work! The crew began on time, completed on time, were careful while dragging branches from the back yard to the chipper, cleanup was complete. The operator of the stump grinder is a surgeon! Many neighbors took advantage of their presence that day. They are welcome back anytime - I plan to use them annually for the routine arbor work.

Description of Work: Removed two large shrubs that had taken over our walkway. They were prompt, efficient, and did an excellent job in the removal and cleanup.

They arrived at the scheduled time and I was impressed with all the employees work (especially when cutting down the 2 cedar trees). They cleaned as they worked so the area was debris free when they were done. We will definitely call them again when future work is needed.

Description of Work: Trimmed all trees and bushes at our rental house in Kenmore Washington. Pulled overgrown ivy from back wall. Left yard clean. Crew did a good job. |Mark came out promptly and gave an estimate of work that needed to be done. Communicated via E-mail and phone. Description of Work: Cut down 2 large firs and ground the stumps down and took down an overgrown cedar that had cable and electrical wires running thru it. They did snap one Internet cable but that got taken care of by the cable company. Some scheduling problems because they were so busy but once they got here they stayed until it was done. Description of Work: Called to get an estimate on two large tree stumps in the backyard on a hill. After the estimate I inquired as to when the service could be provided and he said he could do it right then. I elected to go ahead and have them do the work. I might have been able to shop around for a little better price but not having to schedule more appointments coupled with the quality and thoroughness of the work was well worth it.

Description of Work: Pruned many of our shrubs, and took out a few trees. All needed done, and were done with skill and professionalism. They cleaned up their mess too! I have been a customer for years now, and am always so happy with their work.

Description of Work: I had NW Arbor Care do two projects for me, one on my house and one on a rental. My house: prune 2 large fruit trees (that had not been trimmed in 10+ years) and remove two large decorative scrubs that were butchered by another company. I had a great experience using NW Arbor, they arrived on time, did a great job, and left everything clean. The trees look great this summer! At the rental, they removed an old pine tree and trimmed up a very large birch. Very tight quarters to the neighbors, with no room for error without lots of damage. The job went well, no surprises, and another great experience. I would highly recommend NW Arbor for any tree maintenance.

Description of Work: Hired them for one whole day to take out 3 huge trees. Did a great job for a very reasonable cost. Even brought in a few extra guys at no cost to get the job done. Will be using again very soon.

Description of Work: Crew removed a 25 year old Sunset Maple tree. Tree was in front yard with my residence and neighbor house within 10 feet. Service was done on time, clean up - all wood and chips removed - was good. Only wish was that when stump was removed a few more thick roots extending out could have been chipped as well. However, area is well mulched so not much showing.

Description of Work: NW Arbor service trimmed a large hawthorn tree in out front yard. This is the second time we have had them trim this tree. They arrived promptly and did an excellent job both times.

Description of Work: They cut down 7 trees for us. We have used them twice before and they have always done a great job. I recommended them to my sister-in-law and she used them plus a friend at work. We will have them out again next year trimming some of our trees.

Description of Work: We needed three trees taken down - two of them well over 100 feet tall. Two were dead, one diseased at the base. They made short work of the trees, cut all the wood to lengths to fit our fireplace insert, chipped the branches and cleaned up all their work. We kept the chips so there was no disposal fee. Description of Work: I got the estimate from Mark yesterday and his company was the most competitive in terms of price, and availability. They started and finished the job that included taking down one alder and trimming four others in 1.5 hours. And they cleaned up all debris including blowing off the deck. I was so impressed I couldn't stop smiling!!! The Quality of the job excellent!! Oh and they also threw in trimming the dead branches off the cypress fir in my front yard. Need I also say that they were thoughtful of the safety of my dogs making sure I had them indoors. Very nice doing business with Northwest Arbor care. Very nice people who by the way happen to love dogs.

Description of Work: These gentlemen showed up on time. With 8 people and a wood chipper. They removed 3 large and 3 medium sized Maples and a dying Beech tree tree that was leaning over my neighbor's roof. They also trimmed branches from all around the house. They gave me the best estimate. It was a great deal of work. They were "on fire" from the moment they showed up. I can't believe how fast they worked!. They had the entire job done including impeccable clean up/debris removal in 4 hours. I was very very impressed!.

Description of Work: They took down a tree in the front of my house that the owner said was dead. I originally called for trimming. There was a crew of 5 people, 2 men did most of the preparation, one was the tree cutter, and the other 2 stood and supervised. The wood was not removed as requested until a follow-up call, then the stump-grinder man showed up and wanted to roll the large pieces into my property. He also destroyed 2 of my plants and did not let me know. The owner quickly replaced and apologized. I believe the owner has good intentions, but the employees took advantage of the fact that there was no Male on site. I am in the oil industry and work with many contractors, I recognize when this occurs as my late husband was also a contractor.

Description of Work: We asked Mark to come out and give us an estimate on having a tree removed. He came to our place on the date agreed to, he was on time, courteous and professional. He provided his estimate in short order. Mark called us a short time later and mentioned he would be doing another job in our area and if we wanted to schedule on the same day he could save us some money. His bid was very competitive. After considering Mark's and some other bids we decided on Northwest Arbor Care. It was an excellent decision. Mark's crew was on time, did a wonderful job of taking the tree out while at the same time protecting other plants and a near by fence. Each member of the crew seemed aware of safety and were very efficient when if came time to clean up. Great work! My wife and I really enjoyed getting what we paid for.
