They were great. Came the same day I called with an estimate and two days later to do the work. They were on time, very professional. The work was done much quicker than I expected. I would highly recommend Northwest Arbor Care and will use them again in the future.

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of the work carried out. I had initially expected the larger trees in the back garden to be pruned back far more heavily to allow for more light to penetrate. Chris and his team explained their reluctance to do so as, in their eyes, it would amount to overpruning, but were nonetheless prepared to carry out the work due to that caveat. I asked for the trees and bushes encroaching on the garage to also be cut back further than they were and again, the team were happy to do so. The team were fast, polite and incredibly tidy. My only concern, therefore, was the difference in understanding between us on what amounted to "heavy pruning", and the extent to which the branches encroaching on the garage roof needed to be cut back (which I thought I had addressed at the initial consultation) but this was remedied quickly and courteously.

My initial experience was unpleasant as they no-showed for our original appointment. After providing this feedback via AL, they promptly apologized via AL and offered to right the situation. I reached back out to them mainly because of all the positive feedback previously provided by other users and set another appointment the next day. Mark promptly showed up 15-minutes early and was very friendly, professional, insightful and thorough. He immediately understood our needs and was able to quickly provide a written estimate that we're happy with. At this time, we're just waiting for some feedback from some neighbors before we schedule the work. I would say they've absolutely redeemed themselves from the initial experience.

Contacted Mark to remove a Fir Tree between my neighbour and my house. The crew of over seven people arrived and perform the job as promised. Very efficient and professional. The only suggestion is to do a better job on cleaning up afterwards as there are lots of wood chips piles and twigs on neighbour and our yards. Otherwise, we are happy with the job performed and will sure use the company again in the future.

The entire job went very well. They arrived earlier than stated, got right to work and were extremely fast and organized. They were very professional and polite and were truly customer satisfaction oriented. I would use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They were fast and did a good job.. He also included planting trees for my down hill neighbor. We originally agreed to 4 trees but my neighbor wanted more and he put in 8 trees and didn't charge me any more.. He had to help me negotiate with my down hill neighbor since I wanted a tree removed from his yard. The only downside is when I had an add on due to my neighbor. We discussed it by phone. I have requested no less than 3 times for a copy of the bill for my records and still have not rec'd it yet even though I have paid him in full. Reason I gave him a B rating in responsiveness. Otherwise he was great and would call him again. His price was similar to some of the other tree trimming estimates except he was willing to remove a stump and also plant the neighbor tree. So he handled it all instead of me having to got to different contractors for the work.

I called about seven different tree cutting services and NW Arborcare was pretty competitive on pricing. I was very appreciative that after receiving a written estimate, they were flexible on price negotiating a day later. On the day of service, they promised early afternoon but actually were able to come sooner. Which worked out better for me. I was surprised to see so many people show up for the job. There were about 7 men involved in cutting down the tree and hauling branches to the chipper, and then 2 more men arrived before the tree was down for the stump grinding process. The whole crew was very friendly. The job took longer than they expected because their regular chipper truck was not available and a smaller truck was used. Because of the size of the truck, it had to be emptied twice during the job, giving the rest of the crew a short break until the truck came back. The crew worked safely and as a team especially when it came time to remove the top of the tree. A crane was not used so it was all manual labor. I was impressed with the overall positive attitude of the work crew and their good nature. I would use this company again.

Mark is very personable and professional. He is the owner, estimator, scheduler and general supervisor of the project. His team of 8 worked incredibilty quickly and with purpose. They topped and trimmed 9 overgrown holly trees and trimmed the offending limbs of the neighbors cherry blossom tree which were smothering the holly trees. The visual improvement as the result of this whole project was dramatic. In less than 1/2 day the project was complete. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

I had a lot of major pruning that needed to be done before I had my house painted. Mark was great. He showed up on time and gave me a clear estimate of the work. We walked the whole property and talked about saving a tree and doing major work to a 40 foot long, very tall hedge among other mature shrubs that needed work. He did exactly what we talked about and the yard was cleaned up as if no one had been there. The work was excellent. I will use him again and would recommend him to friends and family.

WOW! Mark Griffiths and his entire crew were professional, hard-working, personable, efficient! Overall, a really fantastic job!! Mark showed up promptly at the appointed time to do an estimate for the tree pruning. He was straightforward; obviously knew what he was talking about and what would be required. Due to our own scheduling conflicts, we made an appointment for the work three weeks out. Today he showed up with his entire crew promptly -- actually, a few minutes early! -- and had all the work done within two hours, as he had estimated. He brought a larger crew than he might otherwise have brought to a smaller job like this, as they were headed on to a major job the rest of the day. Even with the larger crew (6-7), there was no standing around. Two tree climbers, a pole saw guy, and 3-4 ground crew all pitched right in. As fast as branches came down they were hauled to the chipper on the street, and small stuff was continuously picked and raked up. They took care not to damage a coral bark maple, dogwood, and another low-growing maple that were under the larger trees being worked on. And everything was totally cleaned up before they left. Most important, they accomplished exactly what we had asked for. And they were very receptive to our keeping an eye on the job as it went along, checked with us on a couple of questions that came up, and quickly responded to our request to do a little more in a couple of spots.

The team arrived on time and went to work in the pouring rain! Work was done exactly as requested. Clean up was amazing. They worked around many shrubs and plants. No damage.

My first bid was from Mark at NW Arbor Care. It didn't seem THAT big a job and at first I thought the bid seemed high. But after a couple more bids it turns out his bid was the least by ~20%. These guys were great! Everybody on the team absolutely charged into the job. They did it quickly, thoroughly and well. They cleaned everything up and were gone so fast I was amazed. I highly recommend them.

NW Arbor Care crew was friendly and efficient and they cleaned up as the work progressed leaving the yard looking great when they were complete. Owner, Mark, was a pleasure to work with from setting up an appointment for the estimate all the way through completion of the requested service.

Mark's business is in Lynwood and I live in Puyallup, which is out of his general area. He traveled down once to give me a free estimate and then again (with crew and equipment) to remove the tree. At my request, he moved my scheduled tree removal appt. up a couple days (at no additional cost). He notified the neighbor before beginning work and cleaned up debris that fell into their yard, as well as in mine. They also removed a couple branches that broke in the storm but hadn't falled. They cut, cleaned up, chipped, stacked the big tree rounds as well as the pile of wood chips. The tree stump remains and needs to be ground down.

Mark came out and gave an estimate. He arrived when he said that he would. We instantly liked and trusted him. The crew showed up as planned and within 3 hours they were finished. They did a great job. They were professional and friendly. The stump grinder showed later the same day. The stump was no ground to my satisfaction so about a week later, I phoned Mark to let him know. Within a couple of hours, the grinder was back and ground the stump down further and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Northwest Arbor Care to anyone in need of tree service. The company provided excellent service and high quality customer care.

It went extremely well. I went with NW Arbor Care because Mark was very responsive on the phone. He came over promptly for a free estimate, worked very well with us on our budget, scheduled the work exactly when we needed it done, and his crew came over on the day of the job with good instructions from Mark about the scope of the project. They were very pleasant to work with - very knowledgeable and competent. After the job was done, I noticed a couple of branches which were not done. When I contacted Mark about it on the phone, there was no drama. He simply said he would send someone back to take care of it, and without further ado someone showed up at the house to do just what was promised. After having had an unpleasant experience with a not-that-above-board tree service company, I was delighted to find Mark and his company. We'll be calling them whenever we need more tree work done!

These trees were in my neighbors yard but were depositing a lot of leaves and limbs in our yard and roof. So, we worked together to get them cut. The trees were in a fairly confined area - within 20 feet of my neighbors house and my house, with a fence next to them. We received a bid from NW Arbor Care and found their price to be very competitive. Mark, the owner, was very good to deal with. They were able to take down the trees within a week of when we first talked to him. He and his crew arrived on the job at 8AM, when they said they would, and immediately started to work. These guys are amazing! They obviously know what they're doing. They worked very quickly, but safely. Everything was coordinated. They completed the job in 2 hours- which was unbelievable to me given the size and location of the trees. The crew left the yard spotless and hauled away all debris. We also had the stumps ground , which was done quickly. The chips were finely ground and there was relatively few of them because Mark's crew cut the trees so close to the ground. NW Arbor Care was just a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to use them again

It was a job well done!! Several crew members arrived early morning, worked nonstop until the work was completed and did a great job of cleaning up! At the completion of the job I was asked to look at the work to be sure it met my approval. I requested removing a couple additional limbs from a tree, which they were happy to do.
