Do you find that you just do not have the time to get special contracting projects done because of school being in session, many years of do-it-yourself projects and just don't want to do it any more, busy schedules with work, etc, yet do not want to spend outrageous prices that most contractors will charge because of living in the Area. If you are in need of small repairs, room additions, exterior/interior painting of your entire residence, power washing roofs and siding when it's cold and wet outside, drywall repairs, but would like to save on costly company quotes/bids that are outrageous in price, you can contact me for reasonable pricing accommodations. I have been painting and staining for over ten years and have started a small business after graduating from a University. If you are reluctant at hiring outside sources because you do not feel comfortable with strangers working on your home, i can provide a list of references from business owners and homeowners to vouch for my performance and quality work. If you would like to paint projects on your own but you just simply have a hard time reaching because of height, do not have time because of a busy schedule, or just do not have the skills to perform painting, staining, and repair tasks, I can offer that service for you. I and my crew can complete small 50-100 sq. foot bathrooms to 2500 sq. foot or more interior/exterior surfaces of a home. There is no job that is to Big or small to tackle and your final product will have a professional finish. You can reach me at any time by phone or email to discuss any projects you might have that you would like completed yet are on a budget and do not want to spend the extremely high prices that most contractors charge but still want professional results. As the owner of this business, I am always on the job inspecting and performing the work duties that are needed to be done. I cover Seattle , Eastside and Snohomish Area. Thank you.

"Excellent !! We used Joseph for exterior painting last year and our home sold in two days . We got great feedback on the painting jobs . It was a flawless process from the contract and attention to detail and finishing on time as promised . We recently hired him to paint to interior of the new home we purchased and he again did an excellent job . Quality meets excellence with his job and he is very personable and great to work with with . He did all the drywall and removed popcorn ceilings also I can impressed and would use him only for my future projects . Thank you ."

we specialized in residential remodeling General Contractors www.rumitileandstone.com

"Rumi was hired as a sub contractor on our remodel, so we really didn't have a choice in the matter. I can say that the bath tile looks good from a distance, but up close is a different matter. There are holes in the grout, crooked tiles, uneven seams, poorly cut schlutters, and caulking that failed the first time we used the tub. The toilet was placed, then caulked around the base, without any cleaning. I still have grout chunks and hair imbedded into the clear caulk. I am still cleaning tile adhesive from the floor. The tub fixtures were installed incorrectly. They used the old sink plumbing on the install, instead of providing new. The subsequent leak damaged a $2000 cabinet significantly. And, when under the house today, we found that the bathtub wasn't plumbed correctly, and has been leaking."

Cabinet refacing and refinishing services FAQs

The cost of cabinet refacing is $7,230 on average. However, it's possible to pay between $1,200 and $16,000 for this project. Factors like the number of cabinets and the refacing materials impact the total cost significantly.

For example, plastic laminate is the most cost-effective cabinet option for refacing, costing $1,000 to $3,000. If you're looking for solid wood cabinets, you can expect to pay more, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 on average for refacing.

The difference between cabinet refinishing vs. cabinet refacing is that the latter involves replacing most of the cabinet components, whereas the former only freshes the exterior look of the cabinetry.

Cabinet refinishing involves the cabinetry being disassembled, cleaned, and sanded, then a new finish, like paint or glaze, is applied. You can refinish the cabinet doors or go further and refinish the cabinet boxes, too.

Cabinet refacing involves replacing the majority of the cabinet materials, including the cabinet, drawer doors, and hardware. In this process, a veneer is applied over the existing cabinet boxes to make them look new.

The cost to refinish cabinets is $3,000 on average. However, this cost can range from $700 to $6,000, depending on the size and location of the cabinets, the refinishing method, and number of cabinets.

Staining your cabinet doors is the most cost-effective option, costing between $4 and $10 per square foot. However, if you choose to glaze them, that price jumps to $10 to $25 per square foot

While it’s possible to reface or refinish kitchen cabinets yourself, it requires substantial time, money, and sweat equity. In particular, cabinet refacing requires many tools and materials, costing you between $1,645 and $6,570, depending on what you already own. Besides that, this is a project that shows imperfections easily. If carpentry isn't your strong suit, hiring a cabinet professional is best to ensure high-quality results.

To prepare for cabinet refinishing or refacing, it’s important to remove all items from the cabinetry in question. In addition, clear any clutter from the room, whether it's the kitchen, bathroom, or otherwise. Be sure to have additional cabinet materials, such as cabinet hardware, lights, and glass inserts, ready for your cabinet installer to use.

Finally, if you have pets, ensure they are in a safe, separate location away from your cabinet professionals, who will bring materials in and out of your home during the process.
