"I must be careful as not to be sued! Apparently, per Pac West, you cannot post your experience without "hurting their business". I have moved a lot in ten years and always sued uhaul.com. They always were reasonably priced and did a great job. For some reason, I decided to use Angi and Thumbtack to look for a mover. I chose Pac West. They spent quite a bit of time with us on the phone to provide (what I thought was) an appropriate quote. Bottom line, we, ourselves, spent 4 days moving 1/3 of everything that was on the quote and still paid the same as was quoted. They claim years of experience but don't even have their own trucks. I could've gone and rented my own Uhaul and just paid laborers. OR done what I've always done and used uhaul.com. MY PERSONAL experience was terrible. Just be careful."

"Received quote and paid $2429.90 deposit. 1 week before scheduled pickup, they called and re-assessed the number of items in the house and bumped up the estimate by $4149. I cancelled the service because I had donated 25% of my house to charity and there were less items to move. However, they did not return my deposit of $2429.90 because they said that I did not cancel in time. They have pulled the bait and switch routine on others (B&B complaints). I would not advise anyone to use them for your moving services !!"

"Two packers came 3 days before the move, when Bekins deliverd them the boxes. I though they were subcontracted but they told us that we had to pay them and we did. Big mistake! When we wanted to claim damage on 2 small broken items, we were answered that we had packed them ourselves and so that they were not responsible. Anyway we were expecting the truck about 8 am in Seattle and received no news until noon when we learned it was coming about 1 pm. All the goods had been transferred from a huge truck to a smaller one before reaching the Seattle area. I suspect that the damage at the bottom of 2 different boxes occurred .during the transfer. But the workers were very nice and helpful, and did a good job placing the furniture where we wanted it."
