Bekins Northwest

Two packers came 3 days before the move, when Bekins deliverd them the boxes. I though they were subcontracted but they told us that we had to pay them and we did. Big mistake! When we wanted to claim damage on 2 small broken items, we were answered that we had packed them ourselves and so that they were not responsible. Anyway we were expecting the truck about 8 am in Seattle and received no news until noon when we learned it was coming about 1 pm. All the goods had been transferred from a huge truck to a smaller one before reaching the Seattle area. I suspect that the damage at the bottom of 2 different boxes occurred .during the transfer. But the workers were very nice and helpful, and did a good job placing the furniture where we wanted it.
