Dan and his crew did a great job for a reasonable price. Dan kept in contact with email to update me on the project. They arrived on time and completed the work on time. Everything looks great.

I can't recommend Metro Construction enough! The service was impeccable. I was most impressed as Dan, the general contractor, emailed my husband at the end of every workday with details of what had occurred, any questions about our preferences, and what projects were to be completed the next day. I am pregnant and the crew was very understanding of my need to take extra health precautions- Dan also communicated with me regularly if I needed to sleep elsewhere due to lead-based paint dust or other toxic fumes. The project was completed quickly, on time, and of the highest quality. The subcontractors and crew were nice, friendly, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. We found them on Angie's list and have since recommended them to anyone who will listen :) I honestly don't have a single complaint about the service, professionalism, or level of quality of Metropolitan Construction & Remodeling.

Dan and his employees were fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of remodeling or new construction work. Because this was our office they accommodated our schedules and worked in the evening for a week and knocked out the work totally A to B. They cleaned up every night and our office was left so we could work the next day. Dan was in touch with us on a regular basis to let us know how it was going and what to anticipate next. This was our first remodeling project and everything went very well. We were so afraid of the horror stories that you hear about contractors and remodeling projects, but we were very happy from start to finish. Prior to starting the job, Dan provided a schedule outlining what was to be done on each day. Once the project started, things pretty much went according to schedule. The only glitches were our errors and Dan handled it without batting an eye. We also had 2 change orders that he managed to fit in and still finished on time. We can't say enough about his crew! They are very personable and practically become part of the family. They're actually coming back to work on the second bathroom next week!

Dan did a great job. He was a good communicator which is rare! The bid was detailed, the price was very good and the contract fair to both sides. Changes to the scope were discussed and pricing was agreed to up front. Issues were addressed in a timely manner. The timeline I needed was even exceeded. All of the subcontractors that Dan brought to my home were professional and provided a quality product. I could not be happier with the new bathrooms and would highly recommend Metropolitan Construction and Remodeling Inc.

We feel so fortunate to have worked with Dan Stupur of Metro Construction. He is so easy to work with, we were on a budget and he worked hard to make sure that he did the best job possible within our budget. This was our first remodeling project so we were a bit apprehensive about cost overruns and quality of work. No need to worry about that with Dan, he patiently educated us step by step, answered all our questions, kept in close communication. His contractors also delivered the same fine level of craftsmanship in their work, Dan only works with subcontractors he knows and trusts, we felt very comfortable having them in our home when we weren't there. Dan pays attention to the smallest detail, catching and correcting any unexpected glitches as we went along, making sure that the job got done right and well. Dan was also very open to our ideas, made sure he understood what we wanted, was flexible and efficient at the same time. His workmen were all courteous, polite and considerate of us living in the house as the remodel was going on. The subcontractors always cleaned up at the end of the day, kept the dust and construction litter picked up and contained. Dan always made sure that the quality of the work done met his high standards. Dan's also just a pleasure to work with, we have a lot of respect and appreciation that he made the remodeling a fun experience. People warned us that remodeling was going to be stressful, but Dan made it as stress-free as possible. He managed the schedule so well that we had a minimum amount of time that our kitchen was disrupted. We would definitely use him again.

Dan was very professional & detail-oriented at every stage. He was easy to contact & responded promptly to my request for estimate & questions throughout the project. His rate/cost was higher than both other contractors, but this was b/c he was very determined to renovate our bathroom successfully & to full code. Ultimately he actually completed the project under budget. Plus, he graciously accommodated our request to do the project while we were all out of town for the holidays! We had no problem giving him & his team members access to our home. They even brought in our mail & kept an eye on our car! Would hire MC & R again in a heartbeat.

Dan remodeled my bathroom and did a fine job. Several months later a leak developed in the shower wall. I called Dan and he came right over and put a hole in the wall. The plumbers had made a error. He then got them over to fix the problem and he made everything right regarding the wall. He stands by his and his subs work. I will use his services again.

The workers were always on time. I drew a picture of how I wanted the gates to look. Even though I pointed out a few things I didn't like, they immediately fixed them to my satisfaction and they finished in 5 days like they said they would even working in the rain and hail. I loved the new look it give to my home.

Our bathroom needed an overhaul! We called Dan and he came over and discussed what could be done to help us get our dream bathroom within our small bathroom budget. From estimate to finish everything was easy and wonderful. At every moment we knew exactly what was going on and what the next steps would be. Everyone he had in our home was extremely polite and honest. As a matter of fact, I invited all the workers to our house for our big 4th of July party because I enjoyed everyone?s company so much. Our finished bathroom is more than I could have ever dreamed of and Dan was able to make small adjustments to the design to cut our budget. He came in on time and under budget?now how often does that happen?!? I am so pleased with the entire process that I?m already planning out our next project for Dan.

Generally very well done. Crew took precaution to protect the rest of the house while working. When foreman noticed minor damage to the newly installed shower stall, he hired a team to fix it at no extra cost. Nearly all work completed within the week and a half originally scheduled, but minor work continued off-and-on for another week.

Travis is a real wood working pro! Dan was also great and showed up a few times throughout the project. Everything was neat and clean when done and we'd highly recommend these guys!!! No surprises!

I emailed Dan. He got right back to me. We set up an appointment time. He arrived on time, looked at the shower carefully, and told me how to fix it myself for low cost. He followed up with an email to see how we managed.

I wanted to update the main living space in the house. Dan's team installed a new stone backsplash and appliances in the kitchen, stone floor in the kitchen, bath, and utility room along with new carpet in the living room, family room, and dining room. They also replaced my tile entry with wood flooring. Dan and his team added numerous little touches(like recessed floor registers) that really made the finished product superior. We stayed in the house through out the remodel and Dan's team made sure the house remained liveable. They cleaned up at the end of every day and were careful to take steps to keep the dirt and dust to a minimum. During the project we had some problems with the connection between the dishwasher and the sink. Dan immediately addressed the issue and had it resolved quickly. Very professional team. I will use them for projects in the future.

Dan Stupur met with us and created a contract that included a detailed list, lime-lime, and name of each sub-contractor for each step in the process of demolition and installation. Although there were a few bumps along the way, re-routing some plumbing and poorly designed toilets, the process was smooth. Dan checked in personally with each step of the process. He personally dealt with the plumbing company and the toilet manufacturer to return the defective toilets.

It took them about three works to do this work. They were punctual, professional, clean, and great to work with. The finished product looks great. I would recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience overall. Dan helped me along with all aspects of planning, set up all of the subcontracting and stuck to a very rigid schedule for the duration of the project. He made some excellent suggestions on a few building decisions, and he even installed some goodies that weren't part of the original spec and didn't charge for them. He had his electrician install an extra switch and outlet connected to the Christmas lights in my backyard so I can turn them on and off from the inside!

He had great advice and suggestions regarding design and saving money. He performed everything within the time frame he set out. He was great with working around my kids and their schedules. He explained things thoroughly. He was great. I would recommend him to anyone.

I went very well. The workers were pretty knowledgeable. They did not always show up every day, but when they said they would be there, they were there on time.
