They showed up the next day, on time, and found the problem, fixed it, gave the door a "tune-up" and installed an exterior keypad. Plus - Rodney showed me how to maintain the critical parts myself to avoid expensive future repairs. Will definitely use them again if needed.
Description of Work: Repaired non-working door and installed exterior keypad.

Description of Work: The service was provided on the day I called to request an estimate. Although no estimate was given except just before the service was performed I have no reason to believe the price was not fair. The service man told me about my options including the fact that only one of my springs was broken and he could provide two services, either replace one or both of the original springs with heavy duty ones that would last 10 years. There was no pressure to accept either offer at the time of the original estimate. The service couple also repaired a small electrical circuit which was shorting out on another smaller garage door at a very small charge. Overall my experience was pleasant, quick, professional, and I would definitely use this company again, and recommend them to friends.; Don Griffiths

 + -1 moreThe company employee (Rodney) that came out took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and did not pressure me into buying anything that I did not want. It was very nice to have a company that did not pressure me into making a decision on the spot. Once I decided on the company and the door I wanted they came out at my convenience and installed the garage door and siding in a very timely manner and cleaned up everything before they left. I was also offered a discount coupon on future garage door installation or replacement equipment needs. It was a great experience to have people come do you a service and want to make sure the customer is satisfied.
Description of Work: The staff at A Door Above came out and removed old wood door and siding on garage and hauled it away. They then placed a new garage door with electric opener and new siding on garage.

The weighted the door, insured the the right tension springs were installed (frequently the existing springs may be incorrect for the door.), wound the springs to the correct tension, and did it all in less than an hour. They arrived towards the end of the workday within 10 minutes of schedule.
Description of Work: They replaced the tension springs that lift the garage door.
