Very well. First of all, I was very impressed with the sales person, Rita. I left a message late on a Friday and she called me on Saturday morning, set up an appointment for early on Monday. She was very accommodating even though she had just returned from vacation. Rita inspected and measured the space, explained options to me very clearly, and then was able to leave me with printed quotes as she had a computer and portable printer with her. I'd had an estimate from another company - the prices were very similar, but Rita's professionalism was outstanding and the major reason I chose Glendale. (I'd also had great maintenance experience from Glendale). Jason arrived promptly to install the furnace. I had to leave before he finished. He left all the materials for me, and the space where the furnace was installed was nicely cleaned up. I feel very confident that the furnace will work well, and if there are problems, Glendale will back it up.

Very good, fast, efficient and professional. Very easy to work with. The install got delayed a day because of flooding and the I-5 closure. I was well informed of the situation and everything was put together in good order.

This is my second report, and once again I was very pleased. Roger had fixed an igniter element a month earlier, and returned when the furnace quit working again due to some different problem. Of course, the furnace started working again just before he came, and thus he could not initially diagnose what appeared to be an intermittent problem. I appreciated that he didn't just start replacing parts trial and error, especially when he eventually figured out that I hadn't cleaned the filters for 18 months. He showed us what to do and everything has worked fine ever since.

12/6: I set up an appointment for a service call by calling the answering service and within a very short time got a call back from Glendale Heating at around 5PM. We set up an appointment for Monday 12/10. 12/7: Glendale tried to call me but are unable to reach me nor leave a message. 12/10: I call around 8 AM and get the answering service, plus send email and get a call back at around 9:20 AM that they cannot perform the service today and that they had tried to call me Friday. I cancel the service.

I was given an appointment window of 8-12 on the day I asked for and Roger arrived promptly at 9:05. He checked out our old furnace and almost immediately knew that it was in a dangerous condition with LOTS of needed repairs. He thoroughly checked out the system and then let me know all of the things needing immediate replacement/repair as well as those that would probably need service in the near future. He showed me all of the nasty parts and explained everything very thoroughly. He answered all of my questions about repair vs. replacement and I decided to go with a replacement. Roger also offered some advice about picking out our next furnace and arranged for one of their sales people to call me about an estimate.

They were excellent throughout the whole procedure as they even hauled away our old furnace and cleaned everything up very well. We now hired them as our oil service and we haven t had any problems with them so far with that either.

From the phone to the in-person estimate, everyone was very professional and friendly. I appreciate his advice even though I can't hire him to do any work at this moment.

Roger provided a detailed survey of the condition of the furnace, including a well-explained alert that our furnace would need replacing in the near future. He recommended getting several estimates, including his company, but did not give a pressure pitch which I appreciated. He took the time to thoroughly answer my questions.

Roger was very professional, courteous, thorough and timely. He provided many helpful tips about continued maintenance, and suggestions for improving the heating in my home.

Their representative was the most knowledgeable of the companies I contacted. Their bid was in the middle of two other bids. Staff was prompt, informative and friendly. The installation was done over 2 days; waiting on the City inspection.

Their installation crew was outstanding. They are very responsive.

Very very good. We were not getting a response from the thermostat to the furnace; it didn't want to fire up. Roger was able to bypass the thermostat and it fired off right away and started heating like normal. The furnace is a 90% gas unit and only 6 years old. Learned not to recycle the power as it wipes out the diagnostic codes the furnace shows. Satisfied that we were given good service and friendly service with more information for the homeowner to keep in mind. Roger was very informative, explained how things worked and suggested that if this happened again it was going to be a thermostat problem. The thermostat I have installed is adequate, but not the best for reliability and function. Very satisfied.

The heater was broken due to a bad igniter unit, which we were told, could be replaced for around $200.00 to $500.00 dollars by a few other companies. We called Glendale to see if they could come out and fix the issue for a reasonable price. In the process of setting up the appointment I spoke to Dave about our issue he suggested that I could fix this myself and they had the part I needed in stock. Instead of having to pay weekend rates I was able to repair the unit myself the same day by picking up the part from their store. They saved us a couple hundred bucks and two cold nights. We are already planning on using them for our next annual heater service.

My experience was first rate, from the initial phone contact, to the work done by the technician. The technician was quick and efficient, appeared to be very knowledgeable, and the problem was solved. He made recommendation to have an electrician come to fix an additional problem he found, which had nothing to do with the furnace. I would not hesitate to recommend Glendale Heating.

Scheduling was fast and friendly. Tech arrived within the time window and went about his work in an efficient manner. He was able to recall details of a previous visit (two years ago) and reminded me of recommendations made then. A bit pricey but no surprises or attempts to sell something unnecessary. When questioned about whether furnace is serviceable he suggested that a new one would be more efficient but acknowledged that the present system is old but serviceable. I won't call anyone else, mostly because there are no surprises or high pressure attempts to market product.

I have been satisfied with Glendales' work in the past, but this experience wasn't the best. The guy who came out didn't seem to want to do the job. He told me it would take 1 week to get the fan part and another week to schedule an appointment. The house was getting colder as the weather had been icy and we have a house full of kids. My husband called the business and spoke with someone who made sure the part was picked up the same day and the guy was out the next day to install the fan.

They have serviced my furnace for many years and have always displayed professional attitudes. Their service people are always friendly and courteous.

My family has been with Glendale heating for over 10 years in that time we have always had good and friendly service. They are a small business with very professional service.

EXCELLENT. JONATHAN REPORTED THAT OUR INCOMING GAS SUPPLY PRESSURE (5.4" STATIC) IS TOO LOW (PSE GUARANTEES 6-7"). HE ALSO REPORTED THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNERS INSTALLED A FURNACE THAT IS TOO LARGE FOR OUR SQUARE FOOTAGE. ADD THESE TOGETHER, AND THIS MEANS THAT WE'VE BEEN BLOWING A LOT OF COOL-LUKEWARM AIR THROUGH THE VENTS (WHICH WE HAD NOTICED WITHOUT MENTIONING). HE SAID THAT I SHOULD HAVE PSE COME OUT TO INCREASE THE GAS SUPPLY PRESSURE, AND HAVE THEM CALL HIM IF THEY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT OUR FURNACE IS NOT THE STURDIEST, AND USUALLY IS AT THE END OF ITS LIFE AT 10 YEARS. JONATHAN WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. THE SERVICE CALL WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ONE DONE LAST YEAR BY PSE, BUT PSE NEVER MENTIONED *WHY* A CERTAIN PART FAILED EARLY, A COMBINATION OF TOO STRONG OF A BLOWER AND AN OBSTRUCTION CAUSED BY THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

OTHER THAN A FEW MINOR CLERICAL ERRORS, THE WORKMAN SHOWED UP, COMPLETED THE WORK AND WAS FRIENDLY AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS. THE FOLLOW UP TO SELL ME A NEW FURNACE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF OVERKILL BUT OTHERWISE GOOD WORK.

WE USE THIS COMPANY EVERY YEAR BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIABILITY AND FAIR PRICES. THEY ALWAYS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT FOR ME AND CALL IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LATER OR EARLIER. THE OPERATORS THEY SEND ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS.

GLENDALE WAS AT THE HOME SHOW IN SEATTLE. WE CALLED THEM FOR AN ESTIMATE AND THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY. THE PRICE WAS COMPARABLE BUT THEIR SERVICE WAS AMAZING. THEY INSTALLED A NEW FURNACE AND I LOVE MY AIR CONDITIONER.

GLENDALE HAS PROVIDED US WITH FURNACE SERVICE AND OIL DELIVERY FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS, ALWAYS WITH PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY PEOPLE. THEY SEND A POSTCARD OR TWO AND CALL IF WE'VE NOT SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.
