Very pleased. Doug was responsive to my inquiry for a bid and scheduled to come out and see our project quickly. Was pleased with his attentiveness during in-person meeting and the fairness and detailed nature of his bid. Project took a few days in the pouring rain, but Doug and his team were on-time, professional and worked really hard despite the elements. We are very happy with the results and the attention to detail they took with both the landscaping/grass and restoring the rest of the area they worked in/around to tip top shape. Would absolutely re-use and recommend Doug/Devonshire.

The price was reasonable. They were quick and did a good job. I would definitely use them again.

The whole process went very well. Dan came out to do an estimate the day after I contacted the company. The estimate was done on a Friday and I received it the next Monday. The work was done the following Monday. They worked all day (much of it in the rain) and did a great job. Our yard looks wonderful and I would certainly use Devonshire Landscaping again.

I was very pleased with Devonshire Landscapes. Will was patient as I worked through the process of what work I wanted done. Will met with me a few times. I'd originally set out to remove all the concrete including my driveway and replace it with pavers, which was cost prohibitive. I finally decided to focus on the walkway. The final scope was quite a bit different than the original scope and I am very happy with the result.

Overall, this job went very well. Once we scheduled the repaving date, Rick and Enrique came and completed 99.9% of the job in the same day. The only minor snafus (and they truly were minor) encountered were getting a hold of the right person in the beginning to get an estimate, since the owner was on vacation at the time, and then scheduling a time for someone to come and complete the last step of the job (filling in the cracks with polymer sand). Rick and Enrique did an excellent job, and I'm very satisfied with my repaved patio.

I had been working on getting my yard cleaned up before putting my house on the market. I had run out of time and there was still a lot of work to be done on the yard. I called Devonshire Landscapes and asked them what they could do for me for $500.00. They came and cleaned up the yard beautifully. I was very pleased with the result.

First, we hired Devonshire Landscapes to perform a yard clean-up for us in late Spring. Will was prompt in responding to my inquiry, prompt on arrival, and walked the yard with me taking notes. We have a large corner lot, and the yard and gardens were in desperate need to get back in shape, and then continuing TLC to keep everything at it's best. The crew arrived on schedule and did a great job. They removed plants, replaced plants, pruned, weeded, and arranged to have all gardens mulched. They also thatched and aerated the lawns. When I bought plants myself, Rick planted them for us. After reviewing our irrigation system, they recommended and installed more efficient sprinkler heads, and raised all heads up level with the turf. Our yard and gardens haven't looked this good in years. We have decided to continue contracting with Devonshire Landscapes on a monthly basis. They were negotiable on scheduled work to meet our budget and do a great job. Both Will and Dan are extremely responsive through email, allowing us to request certain work to be done for each scheduled visit.

I met with Will after reading his reviews on Angie's List. I had met with one other contractor about the job, but I just had a better feeling with Will. He came to my house twice to discuss with me my relatively vague ideas of what I wanted. He helped me formulate a plan and pointed me towards resources to help me decide on materials. He was very open to my ideas and we traded numerous emails with links to pictures on websites to come up with a final plan. He then gave me a detailed estimate for the job. We also made numerous changes on the fly and Will and his crew (primarily Rick) were very flexible and reasonable. The project went well, didn't take too long, and the price was exactly what the estimate said. Rick does beautiful carpentry and Rick and Enrique did an excellent job on the paver patio. Rick was very good at problem-solving for landscaping issues which came up. They also cleaned up the area beautifully. I would highly recommend Will and Devonshire Landscaping for your landscaping job.

Dan and his partner showed up on time.He walked through what they were going to do and what we wanted done. They were very knowledgeable and gave great feedback as to what we should keep and what we should get rid of. The rock wall looks great, no longer the blight on the neighborhood!

They are wonderful. I hired them after the personal interaction with the guy who owns the company. He came out and talked about what we were trying to do. He seemed trustworthy.

Will was terrific when we phoned from the start. Other vendors had dismissed even providing a quote for such a small scale project or others put us off for several months. Will gave us a quote that was exactly what we wanted to achieve, with fast service, and more reasonable rates. He was careful to set up the project well and clean everything afterward. We would definitely recommend Devonshire Landscaping for any project - large or small.

I have never had any issues with the work they do, and the crew is always professional and friendly.

They are always reliable and easy to get on the schedule. They do really good work. I have had them do several projects already, and I have been very happy with them. They are affordable. The prices are good. The people are friendly.

Communication was efficient and accurate. No hidden costs, fees etc. What I was quoted was what I paid. They actually did more on the yard than I expected. The work performed was of good quality. They were fast, prompt and responsive. The workers were polite and professional. I will definately use them again.

The quality of the work was exceptional. Will worked closely with us in planning the layout of the patios as well as frequently checking in with us to update us on progress, to answer any questions, or to clarify any detail. The work was all completed in a timely manner. The work with the pavers blew away our expectations. The basic stuff is there -- the lines are all straight and the gaps between pavers is uniform. You see the attention to detail in the pavers cut in support of some of the angled walkways as well as adjacent to the house. The paver detail work is how YOU would do it for your own house if you had the time/resources/knowledge. One (albeit tangential) detail that I think is exemplary of the attention to detail you can expect from Devonshire Landscaping: at some point along the way, I mentioned that I should've thought to buy some conduit so I could run another electrical circuit from the house to the garage. (The wiring had already been done to the house to get a circuit to the outside so I just needed to dig and run the conduit and/or wire.) Will said they could drop in the conduit for us. I forgot about it. I assumed that he had to, but there it was in the ground one day. Nothing to do with landscaping really, but just a detail that he remembered and took care of for us.

The quality of their work has been high. They asked for my feedback during the project to make sure I was getting just what I wanted. They took on additional work with no pushback, adjusted invoicing when plants could be found at a lower price. It's been a pleasure working with them.

Will was very responsive- came out within a day of our conversation, did the measurements, made some good suggestions and we had an estimate within a couple of days. We contacted (4) companies for estimates, DL was right in the middle in terms of price and we went with them because the seemed professional and on top of it. We had about 25ft of pathway, with approx 5' of elevation. Will and team knocked it out in two days. They were very thorough and went above and beyond- even reseeded the space between the pathway and the play area so we'd have a little grass patch. The pathway looks great- and it's safe. Our backyard looks 100x better. I wish I had called on them to help us with our deck railings and steps. I've recommended Will to a number of people. We're really happy.

We went with another company on Angie's List. Even though they didn't do a job, they billed me by mistake. Later they apologized for the error. I am updating my feedback based on that.

I contacted Will and he was able to come by that same day for a walk-through. He then gave me a very thorough estimate with each expense line itemed which made me feel really confident about his pricing. We decided to go with Devonshire b/c we felt Will had an aesthetic interest in helping us with the project - he made some great suggestions which we followed and we liked that he was willing to give his opinion about how to improve the space. We decided to rescope the project a bit and Will was very flexible in giving us another estimate which included the changes. He started the next day and completed the job on time and w/in budget. I recommended Will immediately to my neighbor. If you are looking for someone who brings an aesthetic eye to your outdoor space, I highly recommend Devonshire.
