Description of Work: We use Devonshire for our landscape maintenance and they're excellent for that, they get a lot done in a short timeframe and know their subject matter very well! Nice team to work with, and the maintenance management (Dave V. and team) is easy to work with as well. | |We did get a quote for some design work from them, and that took a lot longer than expected and was fairly highly priced (and more than originally verbally guestimated) , so we ended up doing things on our own. Other companies did however come in around the same price for some similar designs - but others didn't charge as much for the design quote ($100 from Devonshire).

Description of Work: I used Devonshire for lawn maintenance prior to moving. I would have continued to use them however they do not service my current city. The crew was always professional and prompt. If I had any concerns the crew was quick to rectify them. Although, there were not may issues. The work was always well done.

Description of Work: I've had Devonshire do my yard maintenance for the past two years now. They come out twice/month with a couple of guys and do lawn, edging, garden weeding, trimming of bushes and small trees and general yard maintenance. It's ~$160/month for my yard, which is decent sized and multi-level. In the beginning there was a lot of conversation with the managers to get the team working on my yard aligned with my priorities. Once we got on the same page things have been great. They even come out and shovel the snow from your sidewalk & driveway in case of a big snow! I'm still waiting for that big snow because that will save my back a lot of effort when it happens! | |Long story short - they are a little more spendy than some of the other companies that I look at for maintenance, but they are local, professional, punctual and do a good job.

Description of Work: After meeting with Doug, I knew his company was very experienced with handling the outside work I wanted done. He was very professional and specific about obtaining the accurate information about what I wanted in expanding my patio with flagstone. He knew my budget was tight and did not pressure me to go beyond the scope but did provide some additional Ideas should I want to extend the project. He provided the bid over the internet on a timely basis. Anthony and Rosario arrived first thing in the morning and worked very quietly and quickly. Anthony asked if there were any additional concerns I may have had and provided me with up-dates as the project continued. They did a superior job in completing this project. They needed to clear an area and prep it with natural compacting materials. Then they brought the stone in and fit the many pieces together to build a puzzle to make a complete expanded patio. They were fabulous to have in my yard and within a day and a half had completed a beautiful new space. Additionally, they cleared the weeds out of a walkway and installed new quarter gravel around those stones as well. We will be looking forward to many nice events in our yard now that we have a wonderful space to enjoy. Many thanks to you Anthony and Rosario.

Description of Work: Prune Bamboo: Prune out dead and diseased Bamboo shoot in two bamboo planters. Install soil into S planter and plant matching grass. Clean-up after. Clean-up Garden beds by sidewalk: Remove weeds from beds. Prune out dead and stake up and needed plants. Pick up 5 yards of Pacific Topsoils Dark Fine Bark Spread evenly throughout garden areas. Clean-up after. Remove Ivy out of Planters and replace: Remove Ivy out of 4 planters in front and 2 planters in back. Rake up all debris, load into truck and haul away to proper recycling location. Replace with an assortment on native grasses and plants such as Nandinas, Hebes, sedges.

Description of Work: I didn't end up going with Devonshire Landscapes but it was a tough decision. Will was great--punctual, professional, responsive--he spent over 1 1/2 hrs with me describing what sort of work he thought should be done and how he would do it (I had some drainage issues and a retaining wall that was falling). His price was equivalent to another firm's but they were doing some additional work. I would consider him again and was sorry I couldn't give him the business this time.

Description of Work: Design and completion of landscaping for front and back yards that included: adding stone steps and a handrail down the slope of the front yard to the house, removal of brush and bushes in the back yard, extending the area of the yard 5 feet, building a retaining wall along with a special box around a tree to avoid covering the roots with dirt to ensure the life of the tree, added stone steps down a slope into the back yard, building a fence and gate around the perimeter of the back yard, removal of all debris, and they do continuation of monthly landscape maintenance services.
