From tasteful updates to complete transformations, our team specializes in creating outdoor living spaces and landscape improvements to meet your specific needs. On a budget? The pros at Jack Brawney love the creative challenge of making your dollar stretch. It's what we do best!
"We absolutely love the work that Jack Brawney LLC accomplished for us. They assisted in finding an asphalt company to pave our driveway, successfully resolved our drainage issues, and beautifully landscaped our circular driveway! Not only did they do all of that but they did it quickly and efficiently! One of the only contractors we’ve worked with who kept to the schedule they promised! Would hire again and soon!"

Tuff jobs is a proud family business owner that specializes in deck building, land clearing, landscaping, and pretty much your local jack-of-all-trades. I pride myself in delivering quality work...exactly what the client needs and asks for. My 5 star reviews and business name is just one example of that. I'm new to Angi, so most of my reviews are in a different place. If you want the link, just ask! Will you be the next person to give me 5 stars? Reach out and let's tackle that project together.
"I have been in my house for 15 years. Every year the "clean the green" season comes up. I have to admit I am used to being disappointed by the companies I have hired. This year I based my decision on who to hire from past reviews. Stryker was on time and did an amazing job. The roofs look new. Did he actually WASH the gutters after cleaning out the debris?? He did an amazing job on some old brick walkways. Stryker is a different breed. I communicated my issue with plants and birds and the chemicals used. He did the majority of the job with no chemicals. No bleach smell when he was gone. I am having him back for a third time...This is a quality guy."

"BUYER BEWARE! We are currently engaging in litigation to get our money back from this company. Upon interviewing several landscapers, Viking seemed like a great fit; owner was nice and competent, assured us he could provide sketches since we are HOA, and that he actually had a design background. We booked him and paid a fee for a start date...which came and went. To make a long story short, a lot of start dates came and went, with little to no communication about delays. When we got the first set of "sketches" these were drawn up in what only could be described as Microsoft Paint (see image included with this review). Nothing was to scale, nor did Zach include any of the elements we had discussed during our meetings. To be clear, we didn't ask for anything fancy like specific measurements or 3D renderings; we just needed simple depictions of what he planned to do (things like where shrubbery would go, what the porch would look like, where the fire pit would go...etc.) so that we could submit these to our VERY laid back HOA ACC committee board. Zach continued to delay, while assuring us he was getting us better plans, however, we started losing faith in his ability to complete our project and actually decreased the scope to make it easier on him (...but somehow the project got increasingly more expensive with every invoice he provided??). We also completed some of the work ourselves to help speed the process along. Moral of the story: Zach pitched and sold us something he later admitted he could not actually do. Throughout the process, however, he was more than happy to collect the booking fee and $10,000 in materials fees...but he was less than happy about providing the drawings he promised he could do, or actually doing any work on the yard. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your yard needs."

The average cost to have rototilling done on your property is around $250, and most homeowners pay between $100 and $350. The total for your rototilling project will depend on the area you need tilled, the quality of the soil, how many roots and shrubs are in the area, and the accessibility of the area. Anything that increases the time to till your soil—like hard clay soil, small entrances to the area that require the use of smaller tools, and roots running through the ground—will all increase your costs.
Yes, rototilling has many benefits. Rototilling is a great way to aerate the soil in your garden, introduce fertilizer, and remove weeds from your soil to prep it for planting, so it is very often a worthwhile expense. You can get by without rototilling if you’re willing to use manual tools, but the work will take much longer and is very labor-intensive. If you’re looking to prepare your garden for planting or your soil for new grass growth, rototilling is relatively inexpensive and almost always worth the money.
Yes, you can rent a rototiller for around $60 per day and do the work yourself, but it’s not recommended. Tilling is more of an art than a science, as tilling too deep can be detrimental to your soil structure and the organic matter that is beneficial to plants and shrubs, and tilling too shallow won’t properly introduce fertilizer or break up the soil for rooting plants. Additionally, tillers are powerful machines with sharp blades to cut through small roots and soil, so they are inherently dangerous to use. It’s usually worth it to hire a professional rototiller.
