Description of Work: I made arrangements to have insulation completed in my attic but was informed that I needed to find out if the knob and tube wiring was still active. I contacted James who came out and checked the wiring for me. Very nice and will definitely contact him for future work.

Description of Work: I have used his services many times. Most recently he did some interior painting for me and it was great!

Description of Work: I had electrical problems in the kitchen. Power would randomly got out and come back on. James came out and fixed one outlet that wasn't having a problem but we found out it had been wired wrong. Then while troubleshooting he found the reason to my electrical problems. Was able to fix it in no time! I would call him back again!

Description of Work: Large amount of yard clean up from recent storm. Yard cleaned and raked, fallen limbs removed, deck and patio hosed off, etc. Also built a ramp for front porch steps that matched up to existing deck and look very attractive. This is not the first job that Mr. Meadows has worked for us. He has built a beautiful fence, painted two rooms, cleaned fans, landscaped around utility area so it no longer requires constant maintenance. Also repaired garden fountain and cleaned up our vegetable garden area. I will gladly continue to send work his way. Very pleased with his work and his work ethic. He is easy to talk to and listens to what you want. Didn't blink at the long list I gave him the first time we met to discuss the work.

Description of Work: James installed 4 ceiling fans with designated switches, insulated heat registers, repaired/replaced down draft kitchen vent. I would highly recommend James. He's trustworthy and make referrals as appropriate. While he was inspecting under the house for insulation issue, he noticed that our down draft kitchen vent was installed incorrectly. We had aluminum corrugated tubes sitting on the earth as supposed to hard metal pipes going outside the house. He caught this when the home inspector did not. We had only been in the house for 3 months. I did some researches to include manufacture reference and building codes, James was absolutely correct. The aluminum corrugated tubing was a fire hazard in case of grease fire. We will have him come back in warmer months to do another project.

Description of Work: Have not had services performed by Rainier Handyman Services to date. I found James' name and number on Angies List. I sent an email to set an appointment. I received a general email response back letting me know he was on holiday and would get back to me. He called me dirctly 2 days later and we set an appointment. True to his reviews he was right on time. I walked him around and showed him my issues. He made some suggestions, advised me that several of my issues were not as complicated or difficult as I thought they would be and some other suggestions for improvements that might help in the future. He even gave me advice on fixing a few things myself that would save me money that I didn't realize I could do myself. Even told me where to go to get the parts I needed. I am now waiting for a bid from him and we'll go from there.
