.I had Rainier give us a quote on building a in-step in our house. They were very puncutal and professional.

Gave us an estimate and made the bump out even better than we expected. He finished it very nicely and cleaned up well. He was very pleasant and accommodating!

The job went well. He got to work right away. It took a few days because he had to dig new holes for the posts and pour concrete, which needed to dry. He then returned and promptly finished the job. He also made temporary arrangments so we could let our dogs out in the yard still while work was going on. James provided a bid and stuck to it, there were no surprises. I talked to him about doing other jobs,as he seems to be a very talented handyman. In the end, the work was good and on budget. He is a very professional and courteous young man.

Very pleased with work and professionalism, including not taking on work that wasn't necessary.

James was very responsive to my call, prompt at arriving to give me an estimate and in scheduling a return to do the work. He arrived promptly on the day that was agreed upon and replaced wallboard in the ceiling that had to be removed to extract the hornet hive. He then taped and mudded the patch,returning on two subsequent days to sand and smooth the patch area. We can hardly tell where the repair was done. I would definitely use James again for other jobs. He is a very talented person and seems to really enjoy what he is doing. For me, good customer service, promptness as well as having the talent needed to do the job is paramount. James has this quality.

James, was very prompt (actually a few minutes early). He got right to work and did a good job of cleaning up after himself. He was courtesous. He made suggestions as to placement for cable and electrical outlets and he listened to what I had to say..

They obviously would have been good but came out and looked at the project then never got back to me. He clearly is a pretty skilled guy and I will use him again in the future.

It took just over 1 day to complete the job.

I had a good experience with him. I've been using him on and off for the last month or so. They show up on time, do what they say they are going to do and charge me what they say.

It was basically a difficult job and he said that he would charge in hourly basis.

James was very professional and always felt he was honest with us. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any home project!

We had ceiling lights in three rooms and wished to replace them with a fan light combination. My husband can handle many tasks around the house, but the idea of crawling into the small attic space just wasn't flying. We also needed to put a fan in a downstairs room with no access above. After checking with three listings on Angies' list, James from Rainier Handyman Services was selected. He arrived on time, inspected the three rooms and was able to do all of the work from inside the house instead of visiting the attic. The holes he cut were small enough to be covered by the fan housing. The device he used to provide the support was new to us. He also warned us about the heat build up from the flush mounted lights and and showed us the wireing degredation from the heat. He used a drop cloth to keep it clean, and cleaned up after himself. We also discussed other jobs around the house includeing replceing the back door and frame. His quote for installing a full door was about half the quote we got from the big box places. He was knowledgeable about the steps that would be required to remove the old door, protect the wood underneath from dryrot and get the new door in. He made suggestions about the planning and we will call him when that task reaches the top of our list.

Never showed up to do the work! No explanations either.

James called back promptly and was readily available to give an estimate. He started the job on time, finished it with no delays and did a great job. I asked him about some other work while he was there and he was able to get that done on the same day. I will definitely call on James again.

The work was performed on the dates that were prearranged and the times agreed upon. The work was performed as requested and the completed product looks great! No Complaints.

Had called James on a Mon or Tues asking if he could replace my hot water heater for me even though we were not scheduled. He was very kind and said that because I had been a customer for other projects no problem he would be over later in that week. He them met me at the local Home Depot to buy a water heater. Didn't by any other accesorries at the time because he wasn't sure if he needed any. Because this new water heater ended up being quite a bit shorter he had to go and purchase need water supply lines. He always gives me the sales receit so I know how much he paid and I owe him for the parts and supplies. He then changed it out for a flat fee of $150.00. While installing the copper pipe to the relief valve he cracked the relief valve by accident. He then came back at a later date and replaced the relief valve at his own cost and labor. He is very honest and caring. I like him also because he shows me how to do things so I could possible do it myself next time. He usually goes above and beyond.

We began using Rainier Handyman several months ago after moving into our new home. In all our dealings with him he has been honest, responsible, and competent. We always received what he promised. We will continue to call upon him when the need arises.

Although communications between us was good (calling at different times as he tried to get his truck to run) he wasn't able to do the job at the date and time agreed upon... I can't truly give him a bad rating if he didn't perform the work because he did call a couple of times...

The contractor at our housing development has tried to fix our doorbell 3 times (did not ring) + a friend tried a year ago - have been w/out a doorbell for 2/1-2 years. Been told the wiring was bad. When James came in he had no trouble with the wiring - he fixed it right away!! Our office had an old lighting fixture that had the bulb blown out - we were unable to get bulb out so purchased new lighting - James put in new track lights for us. We had a lightbulb on backporch that kept blowing out - James checked it out and found out that light fixture put in by contractor was defective.

Everything went great. I am so pleased to have found Ranier Handyman. I will not let anyone else in my home. I have had a few emergencies with pipes and water. I called James and he was over here in a few minutes to help me. He is great at what he does and I would trust him in my home and with my money. I have been messed over several times as it is hard being a single women. They seem to see you coming. James lets me know what I really need to do and what is not worth it. I tell what I need done and he does it I don't need to hang around and watch him. He really good at what he does. Has been to my home several times and he is fair with his pricing. I am going to have him remove and put a new door in next. I have more work for James. You cannot go wrong if go with Raniner hanyman I will not do business with anyone else.

Love it! The room is already brighter. Can't wait to see what else he can do with this dark, old space.

Our experience with James and Rainier Handyman Services has been 100% positive and we plan to continue to use him in the future.

I called Ranier Handyman on a Saturday. They came out the very next day and assessed the situation. They told me when they would have a written estimate for me, when they could do the work, and approximately what the cost would be. They showed up on time and completed the work quickly. I have asked them to do a small plumbing repair job in the crawl space, to replace a landing and stairs outside my double doors, and to repair weather damage to the front of my barn. None of these three jobs are started yet.

He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He can do electrical, plumbing, remodeling and finished work - he is the kind of guy who can do everything, which is nice, and he does it pretty well. We really like him. He is coming this week to do some more work.
