A Reliable Handyman

We called on Trent to install two cabinets in the laundry room and one in a bathroom. He brought a helper who he was training and they did a great job. He even took the time to fix a bedroom door which would not stay open. We will without a doubt use his services again.

We bought a foreclosure house that had been empty for about three years, so it needed a lot of TLC. Trent did the little stuff by himself and brought in a couple of worker bees to help with the big stuff. He showed up when he said and took care of everything on my list. He seems to know how to do everything! My outdoor pet enclosure is a little unusual, but Trent took it completely in stride and did a terrific job. The new pocket door looks like it has always been there. We love the new house and Trent made a significant contribution to bringing it back to life. Thanks, Trent!

We had recently purchased a light fixture to replace the ceiling fan in the dining room. Trent did an excellent and careful job to install the light fixture at the correct height and getting the glass shade to hang level. We very pleased with the installation of the light fixture.

He was extremely prompt and was able to come out within a day or two. The owner completed the job and he did a great job with the work. He was very thorough and honest. All of my clothes now hang and fit in my closet.

Trent came out to the house, took measurements, and returned as promised on the install date. In the meantime, my daughter purchased, sanded, and painted the trim to ready it. Neither she nor her fiance were at home when the work was done, so she arrived at home to find the work was completed on the appointed day. Initially, she was not at all happy with the work, as the trim had been adhered to the wall with caulking and there were areas where the cutting and fitting of the trim were very poorly done. She expressed her dissatisfaction and together they decided the best way to proceed. Trent expressed his regret for the problems, which were caused, he said, by a new employee who had done the areas that were unacceptable. He said he would make it right and he was true to his word. He not only removed the poorly done trim, he also paid for, transported, painted, and installed the new trim on the arranged date--which he let her choose; she was very happy with the final result and we are all impressed with his willingness to honor his commitment and make things right. This fact was the cause of the high rating we are leaving here. It's very hard to have to re-do work, yet he did so--very honorable in an era where customer satisfaction is not always a company's first concern. Thank you, Trent!!

Prompt service-very professional and engaging to work with. I love the trim work that he did-it matches the existing windows.And he was full of great ideas as I move forward with my renovation plans. I plan on having Trent back to do more work in the future.

I purchased a big deal from them. He was quick to respond but stated that he would not be able to get the work done by the time I needed it.

Trent was great. He showed up when scheduled, he actually fit me in at the end of his day on a Friday. I had recently had new bathroom floors installed and the tile raised the floor enough that bathroom rugs would no longer clear the bottom of the door. They are hollow core doors and I wasn't sure they could be trimmed, Trent had experience with this and said he could tell if it was possible or not. It turned out it was and he trimmed both doors twice as the first time was still not quite enough room. I was impressed with his carpentry skills, especially how he drew a straight line just using his hand as a guide. This shows me he has been doing this a long time. His price was great for the work he did, and I would definitely use him again. I hope his business stays successful because it's nice to have someone that can be called for miscellaneous handy man work. I will hopefully be using him again for some laundry room cabinet installation.

The day he was to start our project, he was held up with another job, so arrived late in the day. He came back two or three more times to complete the job. He also installed an electric outlet on the house over the deck. He's coming back this Friday to replace some siding that has dry rot. He really did a good job, and we're so pleased with his work. He's also a nice person. He does quality work for a fair price.

Trent has experience in all fields of construction. He is definitely reliable. His judgement is sound and his work is excellent. He finished ahead of schedule, cleaned up the job site, and charged a reasonable price. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Bid estimate was considerably higher than the other contractor biding on the same job.

Trent worked with my short timeline and did a great job securing some siding that had warped due to improper installation. He was friendly, prompt, and said no problem when I added a gutter that needed to be secured. I will be calling A Reliable Handyman for future projects. Thank you!

Friendly, showed up when he said he would, got right to work, finished in less than three quarters of an hour.

We discovered our backyard cedar fence was rotting at the bottom in several places due to previous owners piling mulch against the fence. I called Trent who stopped by to check damage and recommended replacing the rotted fence boards. Trent did a great job fixing the fence - the cedar lumber he used was top quality and was installed in a professional manner using screws (instead of nails). In one section, Trent installed aluminum flashing to protect new the new fence boards from being exposed to the neighbors landscape material. In summary, a great job performed in a timely and professional manner!

Trent is always on time and very professional, the quantity of his work is outstanding. I would recommend him in a heart beat to anyone that needs projects done around the house. He is very very easy to work with. This is a high quality experience working with him.

Trent arrived promptly and worked diligently to build the agreed upon stair rail. They set up a workstation outside the house and were conscientious about cleaning as they went---we have hardwood floors in the house and the job required them to move frequently from outside to inside and vice-versa. Both my wife and I were very satisfied with the finished work product.

I had two vacant rentals that needed a handyman for two reasons. It was taking me too long and I was getting ready to leave the country for a couple of months. I contacted Trent. He came over and much to my surprise, he started working immediately. He replaced a garbage disposal, hung drapes, put on new lighting fixtures and mirrors and removed a significant amount of trash. The work he did was excellent. He did not waste any time. I intend to use him on any and all handyman repairs in my rentals.

Trent was hardworking and thorough. I called, he answered, then was able to schedule the work for a week later. I will use Trent again, actually already tentatively scheduled next job and would happily refer him to others.

Trent came out a couple weeks earlier to look at the job. There was enough uncertainty as to how much work had to be done, that we agreed to a time and materials agreement. He and his helper arrived a little late, he had to get another crew started on another job. Trent is clearly skilled, experienced, and efficient in his work. His helper was more in the apprentice stage. They carefully removed the composition shingles in the work areas and were able to re-use them. Trent noted that the previous roofer had not put roofing felt between the two layers of roof, so he put felt down on the entire sections of roof they were working on, not just the local rot areas. They finished the work in two days, and I am completely happy with the work they did. A nice bonus, the final invoice came in less than I had anticipated!

Arrived on time, work was done well. Additional expenses were more than expected. (Total price including discount was fair) Cleanup could have been better - I found several nails in my driveway.
