I liked that they listened when we told them what the problem was. They came out the same day, had the correct part, and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. They had us turn the furnace on before they left to make sure it worked. They were very professional and their cost was very reasonable. They were prompt and very helpful. We have not had any problems with it since.

They were great and fair and they came out quickly. They were quick and easy to deal with. The responsiveness gets an A+. I would most definitely use them in the future.

The job went really well. They carefully answered all my questions and explained how my heater works. They wore little booties in the house and called ahead to let me know that they were running a little bit late so it was really a very good experience. I will use them again in the future.

They had to do quite a bit of work. They were really prompt. They kept their appointment and showed up on time. They didn’t put me too far out, like two weeks out or anything. I know that they are very busy and I see their trucks around everywhere in this area. They seem to have enough people to cover the area. Mine was kind of an emergency because my furnace had gone out. It was on Thanksgiving Day last year. They came out the very next day. It took them two days to get it going again to discover what the problem was. They came back two days in a row until they got it fixed. The service man was really nice and helpful. He explained a lot and I watched him in the process because I didn’t know anything about furnaces. I do a lot of repair work myself and I tried to learn as much as I can. So he went over everything with me kind of step by step of what he was doing though I knew some of it. It was really kind of education for me also. I think that everybody is overpriced. I used one other company in this area and they were fine also, but these guys were really prompt about coming out. It took the other company like four days to come out. I have used these people the last three times and they come out just to service it also. They even put little booties on when they came in which was good.

The gentleman who came out was timely and very competent. He was knowledgeable, honest, and ended up saving us money. He correctly identified that the work we were requesting would in fact damage the entire system. I really appreciated his professionalism and effort.

Very professional and complete in all respects; high quality furnace with installation that required new roof penetration and a condensation pump/discharge through the side of the home. Ductwork power-vacuuming was very thorough. Nice people

They arrived and diagnosed problem, I found out later, correctly. The main gas valve would not open. Charged $180 for the visit and estimate of problem, No parts for repair in truck or at shop. They estimated $800. for part and install. Tried to sell me a two year service contract with a discount on repair down to $500.00 Since they could not help on Saturday, I researched the part on the Internet and found them for $180.00 Ordered the part, came in three days later, would not work, wrong part. Called another shop in town and I got the right part, same day $90.00 I installed and it worked.

We bought the house that we are in now and the seller had not done a recent maintenance on the boiler system. As per agreement, seller had to provide that service. Dana's Heating Inc. was the one that they selected to provide that maintenance service and check the system out. I may probably use their service in the future.

Highly professional company, tremendous response time and the level of communication from their office is excellent. Their technicians are friendly but go about their work quickly. We have had Sam as a Technician two times now and he is a great guy. But they all are nice people. I left the price field blank but we have found their pricing to be very competitive. We wouldn't use anyone else.

I asked the previous owner of our home who he had used to service the furnace. Since it is 37 years old and still heats the house very well I thought they must have done a good job. They gave me a four hour window from 8-12. The service man showed up at 10 and called about 15 minutes before he arrived. He did a good job. Explained the problems that he found and their implications. (The furnace isn't going to last too much longer, but it's okay for now.) I felt they were pricey but good overall. They also install water heaters and do some electrical work. Their bid for a water heater was about $200 higher than Lowe's. I want to check the model they use through Consumer Report's to see if it is significantly better but otherwise, I will probably go with Lowe's. I am also getting a bid on a heat pump. I do think they are very interested in making a sale, but not pushy, just johnny on the spot.

Fast and Courteous ridiculously overpriced. they charged me $546.00 for 1/4hp motor and of course they wanted extra fees to come back and install plus diagnostic fees, charges for this and that which brought the total repair bill up to $986.00. Use Penninsula Tank Services instead, they are much more fair.

After reading the great review on Angie's List, and after an advisory from my natural gas provider, I contacted Dana's Heating to schedule a cleaning/service of my gas furnace. The appointment was scheduled 3 weeks in advance with Dana's request for a 2 hour window for the service to be performed. After a confirmation the day before, not only did they no show for THREE hours, but no one called from the office to advise me of the delay or change!! They left me waiting until I FINALLY called and cancelled!!! Their service is LOUSY!! Their apology was HOLLOW!!! I would give them the absolute worse service recommendation possible!!

Everything about this company makes me happy to recommend them. Once we agreed to go with them, the furnace was installed next day. Several factors weighed heavily in choosing them though. Professionalism and responsiveness of the rep were a big factor especially compared with the three other companies' reps that were under consideration. The furnace came with 10 years warranty on parts and labor and lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. The labor warranty of 10 years was significantly higher than any of the competition. They also include three annual service cleaning calls so that was a bonus. The largest factor for us is everyone who works for them is union and highly trained/certified. They pointed out problems with the install of the previous furnace and even though the rep did not catch a couple of the problems from the previous install which had broken several building codes all extra work was included at no additional charge. Even though this upgrade to our house was costly everything this company did made me feel comfortable having made the investment and especially with choosing them.

I would definitely recommend them to others. They did everything they said they were going to do and we were also happy with their prices.

Dana's salesman, Don Biancasa, was very friendly and responsive. He understood immediately that I wanted the most energy efficient unit available and needed it installed quickly, as the old system had a failed compressor. He offered several options, including a Goodman system and the American Standard (same as Trane) system. The price was better than the company that installed my original system by a significant amount. The crew arrived on time as promised and completed the work in two days. They had one problem with the outside heat pump unit having been damaged in shipping. They replaced it with a new unit the following day. They also made an extended warranty available at a favorable rate.

We would certainly use this company again. They did everything that they said they were going to, and were easy to work with. The workers were pretty efficient and confident in the tasks they were performing. Everything has been working out fine since the project.

my furnace started making thumping noises a week or so ago, I looked at it and noticed a rubber bushing was coming apart in the fan assembly of the bird cage. Looked on Angie's list and found Dana Heating and called and they promptly set up an appointment within 48 hours. They also said their technician would be there between 9 and 9:30 am. Sam showed up at 9:10 am troubleshot the problem in less than 5 minutes and then said he probably had a rubber bushing back in the shop. 30 minutes later he returned and installed the correct bushing and aligned the belt and adjusted the tension. We discussed my old furnace and he told me the symptoms to watch out for but said it seems to be working fine now.
