Sundance installed natural gas lines at my home, in addition to several new appliances. I continue to call them to provide service on my fireplace insert when needed. They have been a great company to work with from initial estimate through to maintenance.

Furnace checkup went well. Cleaned it up and didnt need any repairs. Fireplace had to have some parts replaced which went well but was a little more than I expected. Cant hold vendor responsible for my lack of cost knowledge. However I had asked about putting a fan in under the fireplace and the technician said he would check on the part and cost and get back to me. I had not heard from them since. If we had had a colder winter i probably would have followed up with them to get that information but if was forgotten on my side and they have not reached out since. Hence the rating I gave them.

Extremely poor install of the framing inside the home. We had our contractor fix the mess prior to using stone to form an indoor look. The problem was hidden on top of our existing chimney which is above the second story, about 40 feet above ground level. The contractor placed a new flue cap on top of 30yr old sheet metal and it was heavier than existing cap. Created a concave surface to pool water and subsequently leak into the house all the way to the first floor. When we contacted the contractor, he could not come out even though an active leak was in progress. The job was still under his warranty and when questioned in writing about his intentions to honor said warranty, no response. The chimney was inspected by three contractors familiar with that type of job and in writing, all responded that it was inferior work that was certain to fail. I would never recommend this company to anyone because they did inferior work, refused to come immediately to stop the leak, refused to acknowledge their responsibility for the leak and warranty, and are not cooperating with the insurance company on restitution.

I had nothing but problems with one of the fireplaces inserts. The fan speed decreases when I turn on the fireplace light. They originally thought it was one of the fireplace components. After 3-4 service calls and many hours of troubleshooting, they determined that their electrical installation was probably at fault. Now I am waiting for a follow up call from them to schedule yet another service call to fix the electrical installation issue. In general Sundance has been poor at follow-up phone calls after a failed service call. I always have to follow-up with them. I am frustrated with their customer service and inability to fix the fireplace issue the first time.

I called to make the appointment in November. They were booked out for about 6-8 weeks. The technician arrived later than originally scheduled, but the office had called me earlier to let me know he would be late. Dane arrived and was very professional and cordial. My fireplaces both have a lot of very heavy parts and I don't think it's apparent how everything comes apart and goes back together. I certainly wouldn't want to try. While Dane was downstairs working on the second fireplace, I was checking out the first one that he had finished. Yes, I'm that kind of person. I noticed the outer layer of glass was still somewhat streaky. I know I didn't want to have to take the thing apart to reclean the glass. I mentioned it to him while he was working on the second one. I was worried he would think I was being a major pain. And, maybe, he did think that, but he NEVER let it show. He went up to reclean the glass on the first fireplace and was very nice about it. They were both sparkling clean when he was done. He did an excellent job and I will definitely use this company the next time we need maintenance.

The very experienced technician was SO helpful! I'm always curious about how things work and he explained nicely. I called with the expectation of a follow up appointment after troubleshooting (the pilot light wouldn't stay lit), but he was able to completely fix it with the single trip - fabulous! In addition, he was very pleasant :-)

Very nice young man, Bryan, arrived right at the beginning of the 2-hour time window. Turns out all these years we just didn't know how to turn it on. He wore shoe covers (though our old carpet hardly needed them). We are quite satisfied with the service.

*Update: 12/10/14: Technician arrived right in the middle of the appointment window. Was very professional and efficient, and explained what was going on as he was inspecting/fixing the unit. Also made recommendations for my HVAC furnace. Very pleased with the outcome of the appointment. 12/09/14: Sundance called me today and apologized for the oversight with my initial request. We booked an appointment for tomorrow, and I will update this review again after the technician comes out! 12/8/14 First tried calling Sundance Energy at 1:00 on a Saturday three weeks ago and no one picked up. Then I sent a message through their website with a detailed description of the service I need performed. Never got a response (other than the auto-reply saying that my message had been received).

I needed a service visit soon as the fireplace was giving me problems but they could not schedule a visit before December 13th. I have cancelled that appointment and advised Sundance Energy that I will obtain a refund. Nancy at Sundance was very polite and agreed to cancel the appointment and allow the refund application.

I purchased a deal for a safety tune up for a gas fireplace from Sundance Energy Services, Inc. The coupon code is Fireplace-1609005-1. They can't come out for service until December 29th of this year. That is too far away. I can't wait two months during this time of year for service. I would like a refund for the coupon as I no longer intend to use it. Had I known it would take this long when I made the purchase, I would not have gone through with it.

I need my gas fireplace serviced before the end of winter. I think it very deceptive that the company has a coupon which they cannot honor until the end of winter to service a gas fireplace. I want my refund back. Very disappointed. I think you should remove the deal from this company since they cannot perform the service until winter is almost over. I found another company on Angie's list that can service my gas fireplace next week.

We got a couple of estimates and selected Sundance due to positive reviews on Angie's List even though their bid was slightly on the higher side. They installed the fireplace and performed the gas and electrical work on the first day. They scheduled the electrical and gas inspection as well. We needed a custom front for the fireplace and they came a week later (as promised) to have it installed. The work was performed professionally, the workers were courteous and answered all our questions. Overall everything went smooth and we are happy with the result!

We went online on Sunday November 2nd, providing our information regarding a repair needed for our furnace. We used their online scheduler for our request and provided the brand of our furnace and the error codes along with email and phone contact information. We requested service/contact for the next day, Monday November 3rd as we had no heat. We asked that they contact us ASAP in case they couldn't fit us in. As soon as possible to them was apparently Tuesday at 5:06PM. When we didn't respond Tuesday night since they were closed when I got the message, they reached out to me on Wednesday November 5th. This time via a message received at 5:17PM to say if I still needed service they could schedule a call for us but "unfortunately not until LATE DECEMBER". Hmmm not heat, request service ASAP and wait until late December....no thanks! We called Blue Flame out of MountLake Terrance when we didn't hear from Sundance on Monday. They came out within hours, were very professional and had us back up and running on the first visit. Sorry Sundance I really wanted to do business with you because you were local but you really let us down! If you had just eached out to us on Monday we would have understood and not given you such a bad rating.

I would use them for tankless water heaters.

Scheduling difficulty - we need the work done sooner. The company was not able to meet our requested service dates as they are booking into a month ahead. Not surprising as this offer is a good deal and it is service on fireplaces which is in high demand this time of year.

Steve Tedesco was extremely helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, my two big trees make it impossible. Should the situation change, I would use this provider.

We have used them for a while now and they always do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them again next time we have the need

Cleaned and inspected the insert. Tech was very knowledgeable. Will be using them for future service calls for my fireplaces.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and selected a fireplace insert that fit my arched opening. Installation a few weeks later went just as expected and everyone involved was courteous and knowledgeable. Outstanding experience!

Sundance promptly responded to my request for a heat pump replacement. Will not proceed with this provider due to budget constraints.

Scheduled annual maintenance on furnace and fire place. the technician first did maintenance on fireplace and cleaned the glass. Then did maintenance on the furnace.

Worst customer service I've experienced. Wouldn't come out to do a quote as requested. Unprofessional on the phone. Lack of ability to justify or explain reasoning. Do not recommend!

They did a great thorough job. He took extra care in cleaning our fire place which was filthy.

The installation of the gas furnace was sweet - fast, efficient, polite, everything you could wish.
