Our installer was the best! He answered about 100 questions and did a nice job of cleaning up. After he installed the new thermstat and explained it did not regulated the fan speed of the furnace as the sales person had indicated it would. He then gladly re-installed our old one. All in all it was a very good experience.

They came promptly and did their job. They cleaned up after themselves and they did a great job.

I called for an estimate and we were able to work out a time to meet very soon after my call. The man was knowledgeable and professional and let me know when they were scheduling installations at that time. After we decided to go ahead I called an got an installation time very soon. He let me know how long it would take and it actually took a little less time than he estimated. The installers were professional and polite and took care to cover my floor and clean up afterward. It was a very pleasant experience and we love the new fireplace.

I am changing my grade to a "C" for the company based on the fact that they did refund my money and reach out to me and apologize. I still think they need to improve the way they interact with customers though. I was told by another fireplace company that Sundance is known for sending one repairman out who doesn't/can't do the job, then sending another out to actually fix the fireplace. That means two times they can charge the customer. I don't know if that's true but if it is they should fix it. The company gave me a window of 11-1 to arrive. I had an appointment at 3 PM and had to leave at 2 PM. I figured the latest they would be there was 1 PM, so they should hopefully be done by 2 PM when I needed to leave. Instead, they arrived at 1:30. The "repairman" removed the glass screen, but said he didn't have time to fix the fireplace and would have to come back. This was after waiting for three weeks for an appointment. To top things off he charged me $100 for being late and doing nothing. I ended up using another company to fix the fireplace.

The installation crew was on time, knowledgable and very professional. The fireplace insert & chimney setup was done with no problems. I needed a custom surround and the first one they got did not fit well. So they made a new one & fitted it the next week. I reported a problem about how the fire was starting up & they sent the maintenance person. He needed to get a part from the manufacturer. He replaced the part and now the fireplace is working fine. The whole process of setting up the fireplace took much longer than expected. But all issues were dealt with to my satisfaction.

Very easy to schedule an appointment. Technician was on time and performed very well and efficiently. I will use again their services.

Contacted Sundance regarding annual maintenance of gas furnance and fireplace. Arrived during the block of time that they were scheduled for. Inspected and cleaned the fireplace. Inspected and tuned the furnace.

Tuned up my gas insert and had it running in no time. Fixed my forced air wall heater. Did not try to sell me a new gas fireplace as others have or suggest my current heating system was inadequate. They were suprisingly easy (for the skilled technician that is) and inexpensive fixes. They could have charged me much more and I wouldn't have known the difference. I was thrilled to get such wonderful courteous service and now have heat for the upcoming winter. I thought I was looking at thousands of dollars and what I have is more than adequate, it just needed repair.

We were looking to add AC to our Rheem furnace, so we looked on Rheem's site for recommended contractors, before comparing them to Angie's Lisat. We contacted the three TOP Rheem contractors, which also had good reviews on Angie's List. Sundance was one of these three. We were quite shocked how much Sundance pushed a NON-Rheem solution. The spent 15 minutes trying to push a NON-Rheem solution. This was very disappointing. They even skewed the number to make the other solution seem cheaper. Their offering of Rheem was also the most expensive of the three TOP contractors. I really don't understand why Rheem considers them a TOP.

Dwight (service manager) came to the house to show us the fireplace inserts that they carry. The existing fireplace was fairly large, so we needed a big insert for it to look appropriate (most have a glass area that is only 19" tall and 20" wide +/-), and we wanted the largest one we could find. Sundance carried one by Napolean that was the largest we had found, but they only had a catalogue to look at. Since we were buying this sight unseen, we had a lot of questions, and Dwight was very patient and informative. They also had to run a new gas line from the meter since the existing one could not supply additional BTU's (according to code). The price on the insert itself was at retail, with a small discount, but the installation charge seemed pretty high to me based on what others were charging (even taking into account the gas line). We went ahead with the job since Sundance had the unit that we wanted. Their office manager arranged the installation date and paperwork, and made follow up calls. She's good at her job! Chad was the main installer, and did an excellent job. He ran the gas line through the garage, down into the crawl space, and up through the base of the fireplace. I was worried about how an exposed gas pipe would look in the garage (and the hole in the outside wall), but he fit it perfectly into the corner of the ceiling and wall all the way around -- you don't even notice that it's there. Excellent job on this. Chad was thorough and precise and the other men were professional and helpful as well. The job was supposed to take one day, but carried over into the next day. Overnight Chad had the surround piece custom made, and everything was installed the next day. I appreciated that they were able to come back the next day to finish the job, so that it wasn't half done until they could reschedule. The price could have been better, but all in all, I would highly recommend Sundance. I feel that they are a company that I can trust, and that does a job properly, and that's worth a bit of extra expense.

Sundance inspected and serviced my gas furnace and my three appliances. I also got a new remote for my fireplace to replace a broken one. The service provider answered all my questions and let me ready to fire up my heating appliances. Great experience.

Adam provided detailed explanation of service needed for my gas fireplace; he was prompt and did an excellent job cleaning and properly arranging logs in the fireplace. He was professional and personable.

I read about them on Angie’s List. They came and did a good job. They fixed the problem that I had with the fireplace, so I have got fireplace, which another company tried to fix it twice but could not. They fixed it and I was pleased. I would use their services again in the future.

They did a good job doing the work. The technician was great, but, they were a little high and I decided not to get the heating and cooling system through them. They get high ratings. I would let a technician come out, but would not buy a heating and cooling system from them.

The estimate was free. We didn't go with them because at the time we couldn't afford the price. It was expensive but we think it would have been expensive no matter who we would have had come out. They were very nice and helpful. The cost to put it in and the time it would take before we would see any effect from it was not in our price line. They came right on time. We would probably consider them if we won the lottery.

The service we received was great! The technician was very friendly, professional, and provided great advice on how to maintain our gas fireplace. He was able to figure out what the issues were and gave us estimates on what it would cost to fix them. He also took a look at our water heater and told us it was in pretty good shape, along with estimates of what it would cost if we did need to replace it. He also took us step-by-step to show us how to turn on the pilot light on the fireplace if it went out again. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you!

They were very punctual, but they were unable to install the solar application we needed. They said it would not be feasible for the type of roof we had.

Sundance Energy SVCS installed a new hot water heater for me, what I do like is they use their own in house service tech's, I have used them for other repairs and they have done incredible jobs. They are professional and prompt I will use Sundance again and I recommend them.

It went well. It was a good service. I got in touch via email with the person who did the energy audit. He was willing to call me and explain how to fix some things in my house.

They did spend a lot of time explaining how the system would work. They came back a second time and worked out how we would place the heat pump itself. We have had some questions about how it operates and it does seem cold today. It seems like they aren't heating us up rite away. It took some time for someone to call us back to help with the thermostat. I had to keep calling them and they did not call me. We were getting one brand and they came out with a different brand. He said they were both the same, but it bothered me that they did not have the same brand. I'm not sure if I will use them again. I would like to spend a winter with this heater and see. We had chose Sundance out of three companies but I am not 100% on them because of some of these things.

After the initial visit it took a full month for our salesman, Terry, to get back with an estimate. We were not in a hurry so this was not a big deal for us. It took them a few trips to the house for them to figure out how to exactly do the install (it was not super simple - running the exhaust vent was tricky). The actual installation quality and professionalism was great. We had a problem with the pilot light going out which they fixed within a few days of us calling them. Besides the odd sales process they did a solid job.
