Brian was very professional and creative with possible designs. He followed up with a couple of emails and thanks you's. We did not select Sundance at this time, but would consider them in the future.

It was immediately evident that Ryan is an expert in his field, as he speaks with in-depth technical knowledge when describing the mechanics, has years of commercial experience in the industry, was required to pass a comprehensive test prior to hire, and holds high-level certifications. If you want an HONEST, FRIENDLY Technician, you want to hire Sundance Energy.

Sundance Energy was AWESOME from start to finish!!! Everything went perfectly and I had them install a fireplace insert at not only our house but one at my Mom's as well. The experience was great and I would highly recommend Sundance for all you heating (and cooling) needs. The Chaska inserts from Cozy Heat are really great and we love our new fireplaces! From the installers to our salesperson, overall a really wonderful experience!

The initial contact was fine and the sales rep provided us with a price at the time of the estimate, but when I asked for it in writing, he said he would e-mail it to me. I had to call him on more than on more than one occasion to get the estimate and was told most people just hire them at the initial contact time. The price for the units seemed to go up, when I told him we would not be needing the gas inserts, only the furnace/heat pump. Found my experience with them to be less than professional, but am glad to see other reviewers experience was different than mine.

My house was without heat and I called Sundance Energy Services late on a Monday afternoon. They said they could possibly have someone come out on Tuesday. Their scheduler, Candace, called me early Tuesday morning and told me they could have someone there between 12:00 PM and 14:00 PM Tuesday. Their Technician, Jason arrived at exactly 12:00 PM and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes of arrival. He repaired the fauly part and serviced the furnace. Total time for the call was less than 30 minutes and the service was great.

They were excellent on both cases. Everything was A+ work.

We were impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the sales person. Then there was a glitch in that the sales person was on vacation until a day before our system was to be installed. When the installer came, the unit was bigger than we expected. This meant moving some furniture - which the installer did for us, including to help carefully empty a china cabinet. He was careful - he double checked with his supervisor to be sure he was accurate on space needed for the unit. The glitch occurred because the model written on our order form did not qualify for the federal tax credit. So, since the sales person wasn't available to check with, the more expensive model was ordered without any additional charge to us. When we sent in a letter asking why the unit was so much bigger than we expected, we got a prompt response and explanation. The actual installation went smoothly - everything was put back in place afterwards and the space was cleaned up. Most importantly we are very pleased with the heat we are getting! It's quiet and much more effective than the system we had. We look forward to lower electric bills! I was also impressed with the response after our questions. Not only did the sales person sit down with us to explain, but the error resulted in a staff meeting to ensure it did not happen again.

It went fine. He showed up on time, worked quickly and finished on time. He pointed out that our hot water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced (which we subsequently addressed). I was completely satisfied with their service (and have used them in the past.

They provided great service. I just hired them again to do my mother's fireplace here in the next week!

Wonderful company. They found room in their packed schedule to help me out when another company had dropped the ball. Tech came and worked quickly to get finished so I would not be late for an appointment. I think the tech did a great job and was friendly, knowledgeable and straight forward. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Everything went fine. The work was completed as promised at a reasonable price.

We had someone come to our house for an estimate on substantial heating work. The whole conversation was informative and professional (although we were pushed towards a couple options that we clearly weren't interested in, but that's business, I suppose), and we were told to expect an estimate within the next few days. After waiting two weeks, I called once to try to follow up, left a message and never heard back. A bit confused as to what happened here, but not curious enough to track them down and figure it out. Took our business elsewhere, instead.

In combination with American Home Shield Insurance, Sundance Energy replaced my water heater in just a matter of days. The guy who did it was polite, efficient, and very good at explaining what he was doing and why. The insurance paid for the majority of it so I only had to pay part, but the service and work was top notch.

I’m pleased with the way they came in and gave the survey. They pointed out something on my furnace that I wasn’t aware of that will save me money. They also put in two fireplaces for me, I’m very pleased with those.

went fine just had problems with communications with office. Not the most reliable or consistent with information. That part was quite frustrating. The work itself with the fireplace was fine.

Arrived on time, provided the service in a professional manner and for the quoted price. They disposed of the old water tanks and left the work space in good order.

Jim arrived within the time stated. He called also to say he was on his way. He introduced himself and reviewed the fireplace before bringing all his tools across my floor. He also put a tarp down to protect the floor from any scratches and dirt. He cleaned and vacuumed the fireplace and replaced any batteries running low. He also replaced the embers so that the fire is bright and shinny. Jim was polite, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was put back in order before leaving. Price wise you cannot beat their rates. They were summer rates and a third the price of their competition. I did not need any parts which would be at an extra cost.

It was a positive experience. They were not able to come out for a few days because they were busy. Once they were onsite, the work was done quickly. It was done curtly. Everything went well. They were friendly and they listened. I have undertaken some part of the diagnosis myself because of the delay. They accepted it and in fact, they agreed. It helped us speed things up. They could have said "Well, why did you bother calling us if you were going to do it yourself and couldn't do it yourself?" But at least, I have isolated what the issue was. They took off from that and proceeded to the next steps.

We were very pleased with everyone from Sundance Energy, beginning with Doug who did the initial estimate, continuing with Paul and Jake who did the installation and gas piping, and finishing with Ron who did the final face plate finishing installation. Doug came out and showed our options for a gas insert that would fit into our small existing fireplace without additional construction work. He gave information and answered questions in a straight forward manner, which was much appreciated. He also provided a very accurate estimate of the final cost. This could have been a really messy job, but Paul and Jake were respectful of our floors and covered them up right away. They kept cleaning up and vacuuming so no dust/dirt/soot had a chance to blow around the house. They were efficient, polite, and answered questions nicely and without a patronizing manner. Ron installed the custom made face plate quickly and efficiently, and also answered questions in a pleasant manner. We are very happy with how our new fireplace insert looks. While we haven't really had a chance to use it, due to the warm weather, we are looking forward to a toasty and comfortable fall and winter. We highly recommend Sundance Energy Services.

We met with the Sundance Representative in December 2012. He carefully measured, went through all the options, and recommended a specific gas fireplace insert. We went with his recommendations. We decided against installing a blower so that the unit would be completely free of electricity and would work in case of a power outage. Due to the holiday, the unit could not be installed until early in January. The job entailed running the gas line from the other side of the house, installing chimney liners and a chimney cap. They also installed a thermostat. Due to the curved line of the existing brick fireplace, they had a custom faceplate made. The installers were very careful, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure we knew how to operate the unit. It has operated flawlessly since and we are very pleased.

Western Solar provided a very comprehensive estimate and summary of proposed installation of solar panels. Estimated costs and savings were not compelling enough to warrant engagement. Decided that solar panel installation would likely be more economically compelling in the future and that the ideal situation is to plan on installation as part of a newly constructed home.

reasonably knowledgeable. gave different options for spare parts. price was not the best but reasonable. professional in service.

Overall, the service was very good. This is a good organization and I would use their services again.

The service was better than anyone else I checked out. I was happy with the service. They were nicer than anyone else I dealt with and they did not try to over sell me. They did not get a permit like I expected. Other than that, they were fine. I saw some of the owners work prior to him doing my work.

They were really good. We had a whole bunch of stuff done. They came right away and they were really good about scheduling. They were clean and cleaned up after themselves. They were very polite and very nice people. I would use them again.
