He couldn't squeeze in all 3 at one call but came back quickly following day

Installation was supposed to be done in one day. It was not. The first night, they delivered portable electric heaters, as my heat source was cut off, and it was freezing weather. Heat pump installation was completed on day two. however not installed properly or as I was told. Had tubing running up into a hole in the ceiling, not pretty. This Spring, 2014, finally had a rep come out and at least cover the tubing, so it looks much better now. The unit works great, both the heating and air conditioning. We've had a very hot Summer, and I've been cool and comfortable in my home. Last Winter I was quite pleased with the reduction in my utility bill.

They're honest and have a high quality of work.

Provider was prompt and professional. The only issue related to a less expensive remote that could have been installed, but the technician did not have it available. I opted to go ahead with the installation. I believe the cost difference was between $25-50, The fireplace has functioned well since.

The sales person helped me select the most attractive facing to fit my fireplace and decor. The installer came on time, was very professional, and completed work on schedule. It was a great gift to myself! I love it!

They were wonderful. They were very honest. We eventually do need our water heater replaced and they were gave us the signs to look for. They could have been, "Oh, you need to replace this right this second." They are not trying to sell us something. We also had our air ducts cleaned through some Amazon deal a year and half or two years ago and they said we don't even need to have something like that done. The people that did it end up charging us twice what they said. It was just nice that they were trying to go into the same area and tell us what to do and what not. It is always appreciated. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

They did what they are supposed to do in a time that they said they will do it.

Curtis Dahl of Sundance coordinated every aspect of the job which was done promptly on schedule and with minimal interference with our use of our home which is remarkable as the work was done in mid-winter. The installation team were great and Curtis made a follow up trip from Bothell to Hood Canal to make sure everything was working properly.The heat pump has performed remarkably. We did not need to use our wood stove at all last winter, despite some very cold spells. The heat was distributed evenly through our main floor, and to the upstairs bedrooms. Operation of the Mitsubishi is very quiet and it is simple to adjust with the optional remote control handset - we can even adjust the heat from the airport or our car after a trip. Overall we are very impressed both with the heat pump itself and with Sundance Energy Services.

They were not able to schedule service for over a month so we went with another vendor.

From start to finish, Sundance was excellent. Were highly recommended by the home inspector we used when buying our new house. They were pros all the way around, and very responsive despite the fact that the job came in phases over the period of 3-4 months. We plan to use them for ongoing furnace service etc.

Sundance has serviced my furnace ever since I bought my home in 2004. In fact, I found them from the sticker on the furnace. The previous owners used them as well. Always prompt. Reasonable prices. They have been honest about work needed and have not tried to sell me something I didn't need.

This is a quality company with knowledgeable sales staff and installers. The gas fireplace they installed has added significant comfort to my home. I would recommend this company to others.

It was a simple problem and solution. But the repairman checked over the furnace for any other issues to make sure I got my money's worth.

Dave Ames was at my home within an hour of my call for service, fixed the problem, answered my questions about the fireplace, my furnace, and my water heater, and I was good to go. I really appreciate his willingness to share his knowledge with me about these important components of my home systems because I need to understand what to look for when using them, and what to look out for as time goes by. I will as the company to send Dave whenever I need assistance because he is so helpful and knowledgeable.

He was super nice. We had to change our focus and do a different project, so we haven’t done the work yet but I really liked him and the pricing was good.

Technician was knowledgeable, skilled, punctual, and courteous. Explained what was wrong, got my approval for the cost in advance. Used a pump that is a lot quieter than the original one, helped me to relocate it away from the wall to reduce noise. New pump works great!

My daughter's little gas fireplace would not light. We called Sundance, and they were quite busy and couldn't come out for a couple of weeks (it wasn't an emergency because she does have electric wall heaters) but we set up an appointment, and the technician arrived on time. He cleaned up some connections, and then discovered (to his surprise! It's an older model!) that there was a battery-operated ignition, and the battery was dead! We had no idea there was a battery on this thing - my daughter has only lived there a year, and there was no owners manual for the fireplace. Anyway, with a new AA battery it fired right up and has been working well. It makes a huge difference to my daughter's electricity bill - those wall heaters are very expensive to run!

Dwight found the problem quickly, fixed the sensor, cleaned the unit and was polite and professional. Would use them again without question.

I hired Sundance to service my gas fireplace, which had stopped working. The repairman cleaned and serviced the unit and got it working again. All in all I was happy with this part of the job. I also asked to have a remote control installed. The remote was a simple on/off device (which is what I wanted). I feel the price they changed for this remote was exorbitant ($250.), but didn't have many options. Declining their remote would have meant I bring in another company for the remote. The service call charge and the install would likely have come close to that amount.

All in all, I was pretty impressed. The problem was with my fireplace not being maintained for the past few years and he diagnosed the problem just by looking at my pilot flame. He spent time not only just cleaning up the system, but also replenished the embers for me. He was very detailed and he actually went downstairs to bring up his manual that was specific to my fireplace and actually rearranged the logs based on that. I wouldn't have known that you are supposed to stack the logs in a certain way. He let me know that for the future if I were to call them for maintenance, it would be much cheaper than not doing maintenance. He was very careful about not missing at my house as well.

We used Sundance energy because of all the positive Angie?s list reviews. However, our experience seems a little different than most of the reviews. Our project was to remove an existing wood burning fireplace and then have a new gas fireplace installed. Sundance was responsible for purchase and installation of the new unit, reworking the gas supply, removal of the inner metal flue, and re-cap of the existing spark arrestor on the top of the chimney. Working with JD during the initial stages of the purchase went very well. Scheduling the installation date was quick and easy. However, once the work got started, there were a few hiccups: 1. There were scuff marks on the fireplace unit after it was installed. Once I notified them, they fixed it. I would have thought the person in charge of the installation would have done something about it at the time. 2. A fireplace screen was backordered. There was never any communication to us on delivery or installation date. Again, I notified them. One day, a worker showed up to install it without notifying us. Luckily, someone was home at the time. 3. The day after installation, we noticed the spark arrestor was still in place on top of the chimney. We contacted Sundance several times about it. On the day the worker arrived with the backordered screen, this item was finally completed. 4. We opted for a furnace ?tune-up? but nothing was scheduled with us until we contacted them to remind them (at the end of the project) that the furnace work had not yet occurred. The price they charged was fair but the common complaint was that there seemed to be a complete lack of customer communication once the initial work started. I expected someone from Sundance to check that each stage of the work was done correctly but nobody ever contacted us ? we always had to contact them. Once we contacted them, Sundance responded but I expected more pro-active communication so we weren't having to guess whether to be around to wait for workers.

It was a good experience. They were prompt and they did what they said they were going to do. They did a really good job. Their price was average and my furnace works.

We have been using Sundance for many years to service our furnace and the gas fireplace insert we purchased from them several years ago. We scheduled our annual furnace service and discovered some issues with our 25 year old unit. Sundance prepared an estimate which we approved and scheduled the installation of a new furnace. They arrived on-time and had the job done on-schedule and on-estimate. We have always been happy with the service we have received from Sundance and have recommended them to many of our friends.

Service was great and technician very professional and seemed quite knowledgeable. Our 25 year old gas furnace had been serviced on an annual basis by a company that has since retired and we needed a new service provider. Sundance did a very thorough inspection and cleaning of the furnace, filter etc. We had been having problems with our gas fireplace shutting off in the past and had been told by a previous service provider that we needed new parts that would have been quite costly. Sundance was able to clean the part in question and adjust the toggle switch affecting the flame shut off. Everything has worked fine.

We purchased a gas fireplace from Sundance several years ago; the price was good, and Sundance went the extra step of providing a product that would fit in an irregular space. Most other companies said there was not a product available. We called them earlier this month for a bid on a new furnace, but eneded up using a different company due to additional savings. We will include Sundance in future bids when needed.
