Fritz was quick to return calls, did very good work. Was prompt and on time. Also touched up some trim paint on second story for no added cost.

I talked to Fritz. He was very professional. He came by to check out the required work when we were away and left his estimate at the door. I called him a few days later to accept his bid. He completed the job within the time that he estimated and charged only the amount of his bid.

Another company I had used before on other houses has gone out of business, so I called Fritz and he came out promptly (in a day or two) and submitted a bid on the spot assisted by his lovely partner. (It is nice to not have to wait if they will mail it or not) As a licensed contractor myself, I knew that they have been around for years and are professionals, so I signed up on the spot. They showed up as agreed and did a fine job. Very happy, will call again.

Fritz was wonderful to deal with, provided an estimate and helped evaluate alternatives. We chose the more expensive alternative that we believe provided a better value. Installation was prompt, cleanup was thorough and the bill was exactly as estimated. I'd recommend and use them again!

Fritz replied promptly to my call for an estimate. He came to the house and provided an estimate to replace all the gutters with seamless white aluminum gutters. His follow up was professional and he answered all of my questions regarding the specifics of the removal and construction. It took Fritz only one day to replace the gutters. During the process he needed to retro fit a few areas due to rot and the old house construction. The increase in the cost estimate was nominal. We have since had a few rainy days so I could see how well the gutters operated and all seems to be working well. I will definitely recommend Fritz to anyone needing gutter replacement services - he is very professional and prompt. His prices are also very reasonable.

Went great. Did everything via phone calls. Called and Fritz came out and did an estimate within a few days. We talked about a date for the work. He mentioned he was going to be gone for a week but could fit me in the week he got back. Then he called and told me he broke his wrist and pushed out the date a couple days. I really appreciated him calling as soon as he could to let me know, it was no problem since he called well in advance. Then he called to confirm when he got back. He came out and did the work exactly as described and requested. He also called to explain that there was some rotted wood under the old gutters and explained how much it was going to cost to fix the issue. Which was included in the original estimate as a cost adder so no surprises. I came home to find my brand new gutters installed and the yard/work area just as clean as I left it. It was a great experience and it was nice I was able to get the work done with no surprises and outrageous cost additions. Especially nice to be able to get it done without having to take time off work to be there. Fritz did everything I could have hoped for.

Fritz was very professional and responsive. We scheduled time about a week out, and then he called me two days later because he could get in earlier due to a cancellation.

The owner came out and did the job. He called me and said that he would do the job the same day. He was out in about a 30 minutes after he called back. He completed the job in one day. Everything looks good and straight. The price is very reasonable, I had someone else quote me a price 6 years ago and it was higher than what I paid today. I am very satisfied and I would use them again.

Fritz is the quintessential professional. From the first conversation I could detect that he was passionate about his work and takes great pride in doing a first-rate job. I decided to call him due to the plethora of positive comments here on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. Fritz is the owner and does the work himself (no subcontractors to deal with). He went out of his way to drive by my house to give me an estimate the very next day (I really live outside of his service area, even the Angie's List entry warned me that "this contractor does not service your location"). Once I decided to go with his company for the job, he again went out of his way to fit me in on Tuesday of the next week, even though he was scheduled for vacation that Thursday and Friday. I told him that my gutter had pulled away from the roof in front of the house and was leaking water down into my crawl space. I wanted to get it done ASAP. Fritz came through. He arrived at 7am SHARP and was done (and had everything cleaned up as though he wasn't even there A) by 12 noon. The job was superb. My wife and I are so happy with the finished product. I would HIGHLY recommend Fritz for any gutter work. He is a straight shooter who gets a quality job done FAST!

Great! Fritz had a lot of practical suggestions on placement of the gutters (it's an older house and has various quirks). He was also kind enough to do a small amount of additional work with the siding. He worked quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend him.

Fritz came by and did the original survey. He returned the next day with his foreman and they did all the measuring and talked over a couple of issues. They are both very knowledgeable and answered many detailed questions. We received the bid within 2 days. We found it to be very competitive. The job was delayed a couple of day by our spectacular weather. The crew showed up each day at 8 am, hoping for a break in the weather, and wanting to get started. I was impressed, but felt bad for them. When the weather cleared, the job went fast and without incident. They answered any questions that we had, and were friendly and polite. They left the job site clean each night and did a good cleanup and the end. Fritz stopped by the day after I got home from a trip, just to make sure that I was happy with everything. I would highly recommend them for any roof or gutter job!

The owner Fritz Rieflin always responded promptly to phone calls, came to my house right away to review the job and requirements, and pointed out a detail specific to my house on the estimate that I received by mail a couple days later. After I received it, he called to explain that his estimate might be a bit higher than others and why. Fritz's estimate was only slightly higher than the other one I received, and I went with him anyway because of the detail and follow-up. On the agreed date for the job, Fritz and associate showed up on time, got to work right away, and were finished and gone by the time I came home from work. The job looks great. I mentioned to him that his company has a very high rating on Angie's List and he replied that he works hard to keep that rating.

I called and spoke to a gentleman and set up a time for him to come out. He showed up on time, gave me an estimate/quote, and he was able to get it done within the hour.

Fritz was very prompt in calling me back and came to do the job the next business day. He misunderstood the time frame that I was going to be home, and ended up coming when I was not there, but was able to do the job just fine with my description of where the problems were. Repair seems good. He did tell me he usually has a $250 minimum, but since it was a very small job he would only charge $200. Did call back a week later to make sure the leaks were repaired, now that it has been raining. Overall, very satisfied.

Excellent. We talked to him on Monday and he showed up to do the work on Friday of the same week. He removed, installed and cleaned up all in a very short amount of time on the same day. He added some improvements to our gutter system above and beyond the estimate but did not charge any extra for the additional work.

I liked knowing that the person quoting the job is also involved in the work, so there were no surprises or unexpected expenses along the way. With other firms, I've had to deal with some high pressure sales tactics, but Fritz was very straightforward. Also, Fritz appears to have a really good experienced team working for him. The guys were working hard until about 6-6:30 each night. We decided to have new roofing put on our carport at the last minute, and he gave us a revised quote the same day and used 40-year composition instead of 30-year at no additional cost to us.

Fritz was very quick to respond to my initial email and was able to come out and do the job within a week. I had a new front porch built, so I needed to wait until the porch was finished before he could add the gutters. If the new porch hadn't been an issue he may have been able to do the gutters sooner.

It was a great experience working with Fritz, and we recommend him highly. I appreciate the reviews others on Angie's List had written that led us to choose Sound Gutters and Roofing.

Excellent experience with Sound Gutters! My husband and I tend to be skeptical of contractors after some prior bad experiences but Fritz really impressed us. His bid was reasonable and he did the entire job in about half a day. The gutters look fantastic and we are so pleased with the job Fritz did. A++++++++ recommendation!

Promptly returned my call and visited my house for estimate. Was up front about minimum charge requirement when I described the work that needed to be done. Was not able to do work as soon as I would've liked due to my project being so small and he had several larger jobs that he was in the middle of. He squeezed mine in about 6 weeks after initial contact. Work was well done and everything completely cleaned up. Downspouts function properly now. We had discussed my leaving a check under the doormat at our initial contact. I had done this when I received the message that he would be out the next day. He didn't look for the check but just went ahead and did the work. About two weeks later he called me about payment and I found the envelope still under my doormat and mailed it to him - very trusting individual.

I contacted Fritz based on several favorable reports in Angie's List. He came and did the estimate the same day I called, and the work was done approximately one week after I confirmed that I wanted the job done. He was very professional, polite, efficient, and wasted no time. He arrived exactly when scheduled and worked steadily until the job was done.

Left message for vendor who promptly returned my call. Job is in Tukwila and vendor stated job was too far away to do. Enjoyed experience and wish vendor did work in my area.

Very good. They kept within their bid price and completed the work on time and left the area clean.
