Fritz is great to work with! Excellent response time, communication and scheduling. We had some issues with chimney leaks related to gutter installation. Fritz diagnosed the gutter problem and worked as the in between with the chimney company to help make the process seamless. Additionally, Fritz was able to repair some broken shingles after our roof was damaged by storms. We'll definitely call on Fritz again for any gutter or roof needs.

He was able to repair rotted fascia after removing the old gutters, and ensured the new gutters were custom-cut to the house. Fritz and his team were flexible and efficient. He was willing to make an extra trip to remove the old gutters prior to our house being painted, and then came out to install the new gutters after the paint job was done. The new gutters look great, and he spent extra time on a troublesome part of our roof where the old gutters didn't function properly. We are very pleased with this high quality installation!

We were sorely in need of gutter replacement this spring and contacted several different companies for quotes. Several never called back, one just didn't show up at the scheduled time, and others quoted higher than expected prices. SGR was the most straightforward and fair of the companies we contacted. Our gutters were in terrible shape and needed to be replaced. November 2022 I contacted two highly rated companies. One company never returned my call. Fritz of Sound Gutters and Roofing called me back within an hour and scheduled an estimate within several days. The estimate was fair and included Leaf Relief gutter guards which we decided we needed. Fritz was a couple weeks out but ended up having an opening so was able to come sooner. Fritz and Derik did a beautiful job and left the yard looking better than before. It has been 4 months and lots of heavy wind and rain and they look terrific. The downspouts are now angled properly and water is no longer pooling next to the house. I appreciate a company that cares and does exactly what they say they will do and communicates timely. Fritz responded to my call for a downspout re-attachment (in the height of a late 2021 downpour weekend) and during that visit we determined that the gutter system had not been installed to drain efficiently (one reason for overflows) and really needed to be replaced. He came by the next day with his assistant to do the re-attach to solve the immediate problem. After thoroughly discussing my needs, which included an unusual path for one downspout to accommodate an exhaust pipe for a new tankless hot water heater, we scheduled the work. He even split the work over time to accommodate my request. They communicated to keep me informed of the schedule, performed the work efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves.

I was looking for new gutters all the way around and fascia in certain areas on my one story home. Fritz came out on a Friday with flexible timing to give me a quote. The quote was very reasonable priced for new gutters/fascia. He showed up with his team member Monday morning right at 8am and began working. The gutters came down and went back up with easy! There was a section of the house the old fascia had a gap all the way down that side of the house that was hidden by the old gutters. Fritz was able to audible on the spot with me and replace that section of fascia that was not in the original path forward. I really appreciate that! Working with Fritz is easy, which makes all the difference. We had 2 long runs of gutter come down in the recent snow storms and they couldn't be re-used. Sound Gutters was the first or second company to respond and was the first to do a detailed onsite assessment. Their bid was far less than the other bids and saved us a lot of money. Fritz and his assistant were very professional on the job and their friendliness even impressed the neighbors. They were both real craftsmen, did precise work, and finished in less a day, including doing a careful site cleanup afterward. We highly recommend them. Sound Gutters was one of three well-reviewed businesses that we had come out to give us estimates for replacing the gutters on our house this April, 2021. Fritz was prompt, professional (measured everything) and did not waste time. My wife and I are learning as we go about owning a home with a long to-do list, and we don't always know what work is needed vs. unnecessary...which sometimes leaves us feeling ripped off. But Fritz was very knowledgeable and straightforward, pointed out a couple of commonsense items to fix that the other two companies did not, and his estimate was in between the other two we received (all were within a few hundred dollars of each other, which was comforting!). We also knew Fritz would be doing the work himself (with a helper). The end result was great work, and everything was cleaned up and tidy when he left. Highly recommend!
