Fritz had a lot of work due to the heavy snowfalls but he communicated with me about the timeline and when he would be scheduling the job. He is very prompt (and in fact usually early). When he and his assistant starting removing the gutters they found that the fascia boards were not the complete width of the opening. This was a surprise to both of us but he was able to complete the work that day. The gutters look great. In fact, it made us realize how much work our siding and trim needs. Sigh. I would highly recommend Fritz.

He was great at letting me know the date had to be changed, with enough lead time for me to do my part. He was specific about what I could do myself, ahead of time, to reduce cost. He and his assistant (to do the less skilled work) arrived 10-15 min. early. I thought I was done with pre-work, but he showed me where we hadn't got quite everything ready. So I promptly started to remove a couple vinyl gutters that were forgotten. He was flexible that we had decided to add a porch so he deducted that from bid. When it was apparent to me that my weak hands could not cut thru a huge gob of caulking, I asked him if I could trade back the reduced part of bid and have his helper remove the part of vinyl I missed. He was flexible and it was a fair trade. He even knew when he would likely finish up for the job and let me know so I could plan on when I could lock up the house (since he obviously needed access for power). I have been snookered by other contractors, even those recommended by friends, because they may simply be so desperate for "the job" that they bid low and they know ahead of time that they will do "a job", but cut corners so that I ended up with a leak behind the siding since all the roof water drained behind the gutter. When you deal with Fritz, he is going to do the job properly and not cut corners, thus his price is higher than what you may get from a bunch of other "fly by night" outfits. HOWEVER, his price is fair. You get what you pay for. So if you want it done right for a fair price you call Fritz. He also is very firm and watching his assistant and makes certain that person is doing his half correctly. He will be coming back to install the gutters on my porch. He is busy because he is the tops. He also was patience to put up with me . I told him my disease ;made me a bit of a spacey, run-at-the-mouth, woman who used to be an "on the-ball, quiet, efficent, organized and top-rated professional like him. I appreciated his patience with my difficulty expressing a question since I may use the wrong words. He made sure that knew he understood what I was asking and he answered it. My late husband, a mechanic, when dealing w/ an install or repair, a boss can direct the assistant to do a "bandaid fix" knowin it will look good temporarily and won't fall apart imediately so you crank out more jobs at a lower bid, but end making lots of money. With Fritz neither he would ever do this nor direct his assistant to because he does take pride in his work and he IS his company so look at the bid as a very fair price for what you receive. I give SOUND GUTTERS my HIGHEST rating, without any reservations for EXCELLENT SERVICE, QUALITY OF WORK, PROPER INSTALLATION, and you get what you pay for FOR WHAT YOU GET THE PRICE IS AN EXCELLENT WIN-WIN for the customer and supporting a contracter/small business that deserves to succeed.

We had some initial scheduling problems due to the snow but Fritz kept me informed and kept trying to find a day without snow. He did the work immediately when the weather allowed. His estimate for the amount of extra work to replace rotted fascia was right on. He was very professional and easy to work with. The work on the gutters appears to be top notch.

Fritz returned my call on Dec. 26th! I didn't get call backs from the other companies I contacted until the following week. He came out that same day to look at the job and to determine what materials and work would be needed. He gave me an estimate and let me know when he would be able to do the work. In the interim, he did research on how to prevent the snow from sliding down and ripping off the gutters in the future. He returned to the house to match the color of the materials to be used with our roof color. Later he called again to tell me the day and time he would come to do the work. He and his helper did the work today and everything looks great. He was on time each time that we needed to meet, forthcoming with information about the job and had a overall positive attitude. Very professional and a good sense of humor. The estimate for the work exactly matched the price he charged. Because of the weather this year I know this is a busy time for his type of business but I felt that he took our job just as seriously as bigger jobs.

He had come out once before to give us an estimate. He has been terrific. The reviews on Angie's list steered me in the right direction with this. He is very punctual, professional, and I was very pleased. He is honest.

Right from the start Fritz was very professional. He showed up on time, he was neatly dressed, explained all the options and gave us a quote with options that very same day. When we scheduled the work, he phoned a couple of days ahead before starting the job, showed up right on time as scheduled, performed the work as quoted and cleaned up after themselves very well. Fritz had a couple of challenges with our old house (1926) however, he had great suggestions on how to overcome the challenges. We can't say enough good things about Fritz and how he conducts his business. We've had a lot of work done to our house and Fritz is by far the best we have ever worked with. We highly recommend him.

They were professional, quick, and neat. Will definitely call them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors. This was a relatively small job but they were prepared, had parts in stock on the truck, and would be capable of larger roofing jobs. I am an architect and used to hiring contractors, I liked their attitude as well as the quality of work. Their minimum charge was $250, which is very reasonable. I was surprised that I did not get an extra charge for the height.

Found Fritz using Angie's List, prior bids were too high or didn't follow up. He was professional and did exactly what he promised. His bid was quick and easy to understand, and I asked for references for the Leaf Relief covers which he provided that night. He did the installation shortly after I accepted his bid and followed his schedule perfectly. Very impressive considering there was 2" of snow on the ground that day and it was below freezing. I wish all the subcontractors I used on this remodel project were as conscientious as Fritz and Jason were, it was a pleasure to work with them.

Fritz came over within a few days of my calling him. He gave me an assessment of what needed to be done and gave me an estimate which included separate charges for wood rot repair if applicable. We set up a date for the work. He called me a few days before to remind me that he needed the space of 3 car lengths in front of the house for his truck and equipment. I had to ask the neighbors to move their vehicles by 7AM on the appointed day. Fritz showed up at 7AM with a helper and set about tearing down the old gutters. I left for work and upon my return the new gutters were in place and all the debris had been removed. The gutters look very nice and they were baptized shortly thereafter by a heavy rainfall.

They were very responsive. We called and the man came out when he promised. They were very efficient. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

The cost for adding the additional downspouts was $163 and is not reflected in the price above. They were great. I was very pleased with the work. They came right away for the estimate and also for the installation. They managed some tricky downspouts very well with creativity. Fritz was prompt and pleasant. He worked with me in deciding where to place my rain barrels and was patient when I had to run out and buy them so they could be installed. He came when he said he would for the estimate and the work. The crew were tidy and skilled.

The owner who is the main worker was very pleasant. He was very responsive to all of the messages that I left. He gave a decent quote. I just haven't done my part to get comparison quotes. I may go with him to do the job.

It only took a few hours and they were done. Everything cleaned up and old stuff taken away. No complaints - just good ol' hard work and great customer service is what we got. And the price was good.

Fantastic. Fritz arrived on time for the quote and was fast/efficient with the bid. We approved the bid. On the day the work was done, they turned up exactly on time. The work was completed fast and efficiently. The gutters look fine. All trash was removed and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards (lots of moss, dirt, etc, had collected in the gutters before removal). Have already recommended these guys to some friends.

Fritz was very courteous, arrived promptly for an estimate (unlike the other guys!), and was able to schedule the work within a month of my calling. He and his assistant arrived at first light and finished before mid afternoon. There was some perhaps unavoidable damage to plants, but no mess was left. I waited a couple of weeks for it to rain before I posted this review to be sure that the gutters were working right. I did have water leaking between the house and the gutters in one valley corner, called Fritz and he came within 2 hours and repaired the place on the roof where the shingles had not been placed right (not his fault and he fixed for free, even providing a big piece of metal to do the job). He really cares about the quality of his work. He was very glad that the problem wasn't his gutter work. Overall, a very nice job. The leaf filters added around 1400 to the job, but I'm looking forward to not having to clean gutters.

Fritz came out to give me a bid within a week of calling him. I said I wanted him to do the work, and he told me he had a 3-week wait. After about 3 weeks, he called to say he'd be here the following Monday. He showed up on Monday morning, as promised (which, in my experience, was a miracle in itself). He brought 2 guys with him. They were here all day, did their work and cleaned-up after themselves.

Fritz was punctual and right on his estimate for pricing. Right after the gutters were installed we had an intense rainstorm which showed that something needed to be adjusted. I called at 5 p.m. and he came straight out to the house that evening and fixed the problem immediately! I would definitely recommend this company.

I added bathroom fans to each upstairs bathroom in my 1936 house. I called Fritz and he quoted the price and walked me through the kind of vents I'd need. I was going to meet Fritz to go over the work but couldn't make it, I simply drilled holes through the roof (from the attic) indicating where the vents needed to go and poked pencils through them so Fritz could spot the locations from the ground. I told Fritz about this over the phone, and he had no issues. He just showed up and put the vents in. I hooked up the ductwork from the vents to the fans, and now I don't have to worry about the bathrooms molding over!
