Fritz and his crew did a great job for us. They cleaned the gutters on our 5600 sq. ft. home and installed a complete "Leaf Relief" system on the entire house. They were there when promised, and their friendly and efficient crew made no mess...and finished the job as promised on time. They were finished several months ago, and they still agreed to come out and fix a couple of problem areas which were not even their fault responsibility. I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family and, of course, use their services again without hesitation.

Fritz and his assistant did an excellent job. They were here when they said they would be, cleaned up so well I could hardly tell they had been here, and Fritz promptly returned my phone call when I had a quick question about the work done. Everything came out very nice looking and tidy. I think we will be hiring Fritz for our re-roof when the time comes.

Responded quickly and professionally to my request for a quote. Gave me a competitive quote, and scheduled a start date. Finished the job on time, and I'm very pleased with the results. No baggage, just does what he says he'll do.

The work was done on time, on budget, and in a quick and efficient manner. The person who gave the estimate was the same person who did the work. He was able to spot a problem missed by others who came to give estimates, and he found a way to solve it. This firm is recommended.

We scheduled the work for a Tuesday. Fritz and his assistant arrived around 7am. He had asked when we scheduled the work to have two parking spots available for his crew, including the one in front of our house. I saved him a large spot in front of our house and another directly across the street in front of our house. Fritz is very specific about which parking spots he needs, so be sure to clarify with him exactly which spots he wants. He was not happy with the parking arrangement, and I had to wake up my elderly neighbor at 7am to have him move his car. I think Fritz could have done a better job of communicating exactly what he needed in parking while he was out giving the bid or when the work was scheduled. Fritz also needed a power outlet, which he had not mentioned before, so you will want to have a plan for that if you do not have an outdoor outlet. The work was completed by about noon. I found a few old brackets, nails and scraps in the yard that I had to clean up, but overall they left the site clean. Overall, it was a good experience, and the new gutters look great and are doing their job well.

Sound Gutters & Roofing was acutally my second call after discouraging responses with another company. Fritz responded immediately to my call and came out to look at the problem, we discussed the fact that this was the second time leaking had occurred in the same place. Fritz suggested that the entire skylight should be removed and replaced with a new one and also explained why. After discussing the amount quoted with the family, we decided to go ahead and accept the quotation. We had a few problems getting together to get the work done (weather, no one home, scheduling conflicts) but through it all, Fritz stayed in touch with me which I greatly appreciated. Two of Fritz's staff arrived on the 23rd, replaced the skylight, completed the other work including adding new roofing, cleaned up their work and even cleaned out the cobwebs that had been accumulating from the inside of the skylight. Both of the workers (Rob & Jeremy) were extremely professional. They were also efficient and quick. I absolutely love the new skylight. I am now considering their quotation for a new roof as soon as finances permit.

The owner came over early the day and time of our appointment and did the forming and installation himself. His helper did the tear out and cleanup. They were very good workers and had the job completely by the time he had estimated it would take, that afternoon.

They did a great job and the price was good as well.

They were a little expensive. There was a service charge. They did a good job, and the gutter works fine now.

Fritz was so responsive and profressional with excellent follow up. When his original pricing was higher than other bids, he agreed to negotiate. Out of 3 bids, he was the most organized, professional and responsive, by far. Due to a family emergency, I could not be present for the install and I was pleased to see how great things looked when I returned with only 2 very minor exceptions: They left a small section of the old downspout behind (I tossed it into the recycling bin) and they had apparently used one of my deck side tables to stand on and did not return it to the deck (hopefully it was sturdy enough to accomodate this?). These were very, very, very minor issues and if a gutter can look "beautiful," these certainly do!

We were very pleased with the experience we had with Fritz and we would use his services in the future.

We had a small issue when setting up the installation date but other than that, Fritz showed up on time and finished the job quickly. Nice work, good lines, looks very professional. During the installation Fritz kept me informed of small changes that he had to work around or adjustments from the original plan. I appreciated the communication. I didn't shop around enough to compare his price, so I can't really rate that. I went with him because it was in my budget and I've seen his work on a neighbor's home and liked it.

I found the installation went very well and everyone worked hard to complete the job in a professional manner. Prior to the work, I encountered delays in returned phone calls and just responding back to me. After I agreed to engage Sound Gutters, they told me that they would schedule me in three weeks. After no one showed up or called to let me know the status, I had to call again to find out why they were late. Then it was another week delay. This did not impact the installation and the good job. It just took time to start.

They showed up on time but they were more expensive than another company that I found.

I called Sound Gutters on a Saturday during a rainstorm when I'm sure they were very busy. Fritz returned my call on Sunday and was out to my house on Monday. He quickly fixed the downspout and when the job was smaller than he had anticipated, he even charged me less than originally estimated. Honest, prompt and professional. If they did more than gutters, I would hire them for all of my home repair needs.

Estimate was exactly what he charged, showed up when he said he would, did not use inside access to get to the gutters even though it would have been easier to do this (i.e., did not tramp dirt through the house).

I called Sound Gutters last summer to have a leaking, overflowing gutter on the corner of my house repaired. I also asked Fritz to evaluate my other gutters and suggest needed repairs. He said he would not know the scope or cost of the work on the leaking gutter until the day of the job. He recommended I replace the gutters on our garage, and said we needed to have the ivy removed from the garage first. There was a long delay to get the ivy removed. Fritz was kind enough to honor the estimate he gave me last year. It took over 1 month to schedule the work--1-2 weeks of phone tag and looking for the old estimate, and 3-4 weeks' delay in Fritz's schedule. On the day of the job, he and his employee came at 6:45 am, having said they would arrive at 7 am. They rapidly and professionally replaced the garage gutters. Then Fritz told me the leaking gutter on the house was dirty and full of water (no surprise), and was too high and too complex a repair for him. He suggested I call a bigger gutter company which was equipped to handle bigger jobs on taller houses like mine. He took $50 off the job because he couldn't do that part of the job. Since my house didn't get taller between the estimate and the service, it felt to me like he was cherry-picking the easy part of the job. (Though cherry-picking actually requires a ladder.) That was the part of the job that I actually wanted done the most, and now it's mid-October, and I will be starting from scratch with a new gutter company.

The whole experience was excellent. My first call requesting an estimate was answered within 24 hours. The contractor showed up to make an estimate when he said he would. We agreed on a price and set an approximate date to do the job. He called called back a couple days before the install date and set a date and time. He came when he said he would and did the job as agreed. The job site was cleaned up and the job looks great. I will have to wait for the first rain to see if everything works, but I have no reason to think it won't. Overall just thought the approach was very professional. I appreciate having the contractor show up on time as agreed and doing the job with no surprises.

Easy to contact and set up an appointment. The workmanship was excellent. They removed the all debris and cleaned up.

Great!! I contact Sound Gutters and several other companies earlier this year in anticipation of painting my home and replacing the gutters that were leaking, falling off and generally in terrible condition. Fritz came to my home and bid the job. Not only was his estimate fair and reasonable, I got a good understanding of what would need to be done. While all my estimates were very close in the dollar amounts, Fritz was friendly, professional, he was the only bidder that followed up with me. He obviously wanted my business more than the others. He recently came out, installed new gutters, and they look great, and now that it is raining they work great, too.

Searched Angie's list last year and selected SG&R to make bid. Roofer submitted bid promptly. Finally, this year, I got around to calling for the work. Required small increase in bid due to increased materials costs. Crew showed up and started work on the appointed day and hour. When removing existing roofing discovered that new plywood sheeting would be required. I ok'd the added cost and crew obtained materials. Rain threatened that night and crew worked until dark to lay new sheeting and felt so roof would be rain tight. Remaining materials delivered next morning to roof and work completed on time. I requested a change to the normal edge detail done on our cabana's fascia. This required reworking the cabana's roof, completely. SG&R did the rework no charge. None. Not materials or labor. I am very happy with the result. Great working with these guys!

Overall a very good experience. I selected this company out of quotes, based on price and material. All contact and communication was done over the phone, and my questions were answered in a timely manner. I tore down my old gutters and had them taken away. Replaced with new metal gutters and downspouts with leaf relief on top, to prevent gutters clogging from leaves and needles.The work was done in one day as promised per specifications, and no mess left behind. I would select this company again for any future work.

Fritz came out and did the estimate himself, gave us a detailed written quote and set a date to do the work. He called just prior to doing the work to confirm that he would be there on the scheduled date. He came at the appointed time; performed the work and cleaned up the area after finishing and hauling off the old gutters for recycling. He noted anything of concern with the roof itself and finished around the time he estimated.

Overall job went very well. The two member crew removed the old wooden gutters, installed the new aluminum gutters and downspouts in one morning (3.5 hours). They removed the old gutters and downspouts from the property and cleaned up the small amount of mess that they created. I am hopeful that the Leaf Relief will work as well that it is advertised. I regularly removed fir needles that accumulated in the wooden gutters for the past 25 years; one reason why they lasted as long as they did.
