Fritz and his crew switched our old gutters for new ones. He was a true professional: efficient and responsible, and did not waste any time. His price for the work was more than fair. I would use his company again and recommend him to others.

The work done by Fritz was great. He was a man of his word. He returned phone calls and was on time. He was the person we dealt with from start to finish. There was no separate person who did the estimate and then a different person doing the work . It was done by Fritz from start to finish. He started on time and cleaned up after the job. Overall, we are very please with everything. We would recommend Sound Gutter to anyone looking to get their gutters replaced.

The process of replacing our downspouts could not have been made easier by Sound Gutters. From our first contact, Fritz was a true professional. The downspout work was performed in conjunction with a larger exterior remodeling project and even though the lapse in follow-through by other contractors forced changes in our schedule, Fritz remained flexible, patient and punctual throughout. His quoted price was comparable to others we considered and we were extemely pleased with the final results. We would highly recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing for any work of this type.

As noted in almost every prior review, the job went very smoothly. Zero complaints about Sound Gutters. Will absolutely call again for future gutter needs. If anything, I should have scheduled the work to be done a little later in the morning out of consideration of neighbors. Oh well, live and learn. I was hoping we would have a heavy rain storm or two before writing this review, but have only had a few passing showers. Nevertheless, the improved system easily handled the water. Hopefully this will allow for better sleep as winter approachs.

The job went very well. Fritz was professional and punctual. He provided a detailed and clear bid on the project that was priced around the middle range. Because I was in the process of painting my house, he was willing to give me a little time between tearing down the old gutters and installing the new ones. This allowed me to clean and prime the facia board before installing the new gutters. Although he did charge me a little extra for the extra transportation needed, it was not an unreasonable amount. He did a good job of working around my schedule. When the house was ready for the new gutters, he was able to come out within a day or two, and he finished the job in one day. He did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself, and that was that.

Fritz was out to give us an estimate very soon after I called. We accepted the estimate and Fritz scheduled the job for a couple weeks out. He sensed that I was disappointed that it wouldn't be sooner and he called back after juggling his schedule to get our job done earler than first expected. He always called to let us know what would be next and when. He and one employee completed the job in about four hours on our 1800 foot rambler. They arrived on time, were quiet, and cleaned up all debri as well as taking away the old gutter material. The job couldn't have gone smoother and our new gutters are beautiful and performed well with the thunder and rain storm we had yesterday! Very professional and easy to work with.

Fritz and his crew were completely professional and did an excellent installation on a complicated multilevel roof with multiple downspouts into drainage tubes that were existing. Color matched the trim paint and cleaned up all debris when they left. Cannot say how happy we are with their work.

My husband did most of the phone conversations and he said they were very responsive. We did have the dates change a couple of times for the installation, but they did come when they said they would on the final time they had committed to. Unfortunately, the time was a little less convenient for us as we had house guests who were woken early with the noise. But it all worked out fine. They did everything in a very timely and professional manner. They even fixed something that was not on the bid for a nominal charge. It poured down rain the following night and it was nice to have gutters that worked so well.

I received four bids for job. One was so low he didn't know what he was looking at. One was so high he didn't need the work. The other two including Sound were $100 apart. Awarded Sound based on face to face estimate with Fritz, and the fact that Fritz and crew would do the work. They returned calls promptly to schedule the work and showed up at 7:00 AM to start on scheduled day. They executed the work exactly as bid and left 5+ hours later with no trace that they had ever been on site. I'm a retired architect with 35 yrs. of working with all kinds of generals and subs. These guys are pros. I would use them again in a minute as long as their estimate is competitive.

Fritz was prompt with the estimate, which was very exact. It was a couple of weeks later that he scheduled the work. They came on time, leveled the gutters, made some repairs and were very efficient. I paid the estimate and am satisfied that they did good work.

Fritz and partner did a great job. It wasn't a large project but, needed to get damaged gutter replaced before house got painted. Fritz squeezed me in between his other projects. They did a fabulous job! I highly recommend. Very prompt, professional and easy to work with. They do a quality job. Call them, you won't be disappointed.

Fritz the owner was prompt in giving us a bid. Said he's be out in two weeks. Showed up early and worked through the rain. Very polite and hard working. Looks great!

His replacement gutters were really nice looking, and will force me to clean the mold off of the remaining gutters! He also provided excellent maintenance tips and a reference for another task I needed to get done.

Felix showed up at the scheduled time with 2 helpers. They were professional, left my yard and plants as they found them and were in and out in 8 hour after discovering more work than anticipated with the rotted facia. During a recent heavy rainstorm I observed no leaks. I've already recommended Sound Gutters to 2 of my nieghbors who have similar problems.

The work was completed quickly (half day) and the site was clean when they left. There was some delay in getting the contracts signed and overall scheduling, not any reflection on the work. The house looks great and has no more leaking gutters.

Fritz got back to me promptly about replacing a broken downspout and visited us the next day. The service was efficient and fairly priced. I would definitely call Sound Gutters again.

They were exceptionally responsive at the beginning and following up as well so that really sealed it for me. The price was appropriate but not the lowest. The service was excellent.

Fritz replaced the gutters on my house. He was punctual, no-nonsense, and very efficient. He got the job done quickly and did a great job. He also directed the downspouts to my rain barrels and made sure they fit.

Fritz was prompt in making an estimate. Price was fair. Clearly communicated when he would be available. Was flexible in arranging a date that worked for me. Was prompt in completing the work. I was impressed with how well he treated his help. Was pleased with the work performed and would hire them again.

Our existing plastic gutters were awful and leaking. Fritz came out the next day after i called to provide an estimate. The estimate price was better than i was expecting! I signed and sent in the contract when we decided to go with Sound Gutters. When Fritz received the contract he called to let me know he had received it (the week before Christmas) and would call in the New Year to schedule the actual installation. Indeed, Fritz did call the first week back after holidays and scheduled our installation. It was originally scheduled for a day they were forcasting snow, and since Sound Gutters didn't work in the snow, Fritz proactively called us to reschedule for a day earlier to beat the snow! This is great customer service in my book! On the day of installation, they arrived promptly and did a great job removing our old gutters and installing the new ones. As requested, they neatly stacked our old gutters on the side (so we could reuse them on our barn). the work area was clean all around the house. The only (tiny) issue we had was that the installers seemed a bit peeved that no one would be at the house when they were going to be done. I thought i had explained to Fritz that there would be someone there when he arrived, but that I would not be back until after lunch, and that my husband had to drop kids off at school and go to work - but there must have been a mixup in the communication. They completed installation quickly as they were gone by the time I got back after lunch. Overall, so far, we're very happy. Now time will tell how well the gutters work!

This firm was on time, on budget, professional and punctual. The person who gave me the estimate was the same person who did the work. He identified the problem with the gutter that likely contributed to water leaking into nearby ceiling, and then quickly got to work. I was very pleased with the result.

The replaced section of gutter matches nearly perfectly with the existing gutters, and now doesn't leak! Connection to the perimeter drain around the house works perfectly. The LeafGuard system looks well installed, and seems to be blocking leaves and needles. Due to standing water in some of the gutters some additional ealing will have to be done in the Spring. It sounds like our job was bigger than it had initially seemed, with more repairs needed. Fritz was great- phone calls regarding the job, did the job on the day specified, excellent cleanup and we would recommend him highly.

The gutters were installed by another contractor - not by Fritz. The contractor who installed the gutters was sub contracted through a general contractor. Our overall experience with the general contractor wasn't that great. As a result, I decided to call Fritz to get a different perspective on the work completed. Fritz showed up, climbed onto the roof, inspected the gutters, and explained that everything looks good. The draining issue I called about is due to our house more than improper installation. Our porch may be sagging a little which in turn is causing water to collect over the porch. His advise is to clear it out every once in awhile with a hose. Overall very happy - thanks Fritz.

I got bids from 3 highly rated gutter replacement companies from Angies List. I wanted all gutters replaced, on my house and detached large 2-car garage, and gutter covers because I have two large Douglas Fir trees and a maple tree next to my house and garage. I am tired of cleaning gutters and downspouts! I asked all 3 companies if I could re-use the existing downspouts, and if they thought that I needed any more downspouts, and/or if any of the existing ones were not in optimal locations. I had been thinking that perhaps I did not have enough downspouts to enable adequate drainage. All 3 companies came out promptly to provide bids. The bids to remove/haul existing gutters and replace with new gutters were all ballpark pricing; Fritz's was a bit higher. One vendor's bid used the existing downspouts. Another vendor gave me pricing to re-use existing or to replace. Fritz's bid was to replace downspouts, and also to add two additional downspouts to my garage. Neither of the other vendors thought I needed any more downspouts. Fritz likes to replace the downspouts when he puts on all new gutters, because it aesthetically looks nicer. He had checked on my old downspouts and they were getting banged up. I had to agree with him, and was willing to spend the extra to have everything new, white, and unmarred. Each vendor uses a completely different type/manufacturer of gutter covers. Each vendor provided a sales pamphlet from the manufacturer. In addition, I researched online at length, trying to find sufficient information to make an informed decision--since the choice of vendors really rested with what gutter cover system I opted for. I also called and spoke to the manufacturers. All the research still hadn't given me a clear choice. But one of the gutter cover systems was substantially more expensive than the other two, so I dropped that vendor from consideration. Then I called back each of the remaining 2 vendors to ask questions about why they used the system in their bid. Their answers didn't shed too much more light on the subject, unfortunately, but both willingly spoke to me about it and didn't try to "sell" me. I had liked dealing with Fritz so far. He had come himself to do the bid, and I'd met him when he came out. It's nice to meet the owner of the business. In the end, the clincher for me was a photo on a website from a roofing company in the midwest, of some pine/fir needles stuck on the convex gutter cover (that the other vendor uses), against the house, under the eaves. Poor photo to put on a website, but it made the decision for me, in favor of Fritz and Leaf Relief. Fritz is very good about communicating about schedules,and returning calls. We had a snow delay on our first date, but we found a date soon after Thanksgiving weekend that worked for us both. He arrived on time with two assistants. I was home the entire time. I occasionally overheard conversations, and they were friendly and collaborative with each other, although Fritz definitely ran the job. They worked straight for 5 or 6 hours, and finished well before I had anticipated. Fritz said he brought a second assistant specifically to finish the job sooner. When he was done, Fritz walked around and pointed out a couple of things that I needed to be aware of. One was a rather crooked side of the garage roof, due to settling. Fritz said that they worked for 40 minutes just to get the corner of the garage mitered properly. I am glad that I had new downspouts, as they indeed do look quite nicer than the old ones did, and they match my nice, white gutters. I have not yet been up on the roof to see how the job looks from that perspective, especially the Leaf Relief gutter covers. But I have not found any needles in front of the downspout drains, so I assume that the gutter covers are working properly. I will have to brush them off occasionally, but this is a hundred times better than cleaning gutters and downspouts!

We had a great experience with Sound Gutters & Roofing (Fritz). He was professional and prompt giving us the estimate, and was priced very fairly. Not the lowest, but definitely not the highest. Given his Angie's List reputation, we were willing to pay the slight premium over a couple other companies. Our old gutters were (as we found out) filthy. We had them cleaned earlier in the year, but either the work was done poorly, or we just had lots of debris. SGR removed the existing gutters, dirt and all, disposed of them, and left very little trace on the property that this was done. The replacement gutters look fantastic, but even more, they do exactly what they're supposed to do! We're able to sleep at night again! The work he and his crew performed was fantastic. We highly recommend Fritz/SGR for your gutter replacement needs!
