Fritz was punctual and did every thing that he promised. He cleaned all the gutters of debris. He installed the leaf relif system on my house and had to make custom cuts since the gutters varied in diameter. The warranty is for 10 years and was worth the cost. I would recommend him to any one who wants this type of work.

I called the office and Fritz phoned back the same day to get the details. He came out a couple of days later to give an estimate and I arranged for work to start the following week. He arrived on time, did a great job and the work was done to the agreed budget. Recommended!

We determined that while we were able to do the needed repairs ourselves, we would definitely use sound gutters when we decide to replace our entire gutter system.

We were in desperate need of new gutters and fascia all the way around our house. Angie?s List helped us to find some local contractors that did the kind of work we needed. We got four estimates. Three were pretty close to each other and one was $1500 higher. Sound Gutters & Roofing was $50 above the lowest, but my husband and I liked that Fritz seemed efficient, honest, and responsive. We have an old tile roof that we know really needs some more significant repairs, but due to imminent changes in the neighborhood and our personal lives, we weren?t in the market for making expensive long-term improvements. Fritz pointed out some issues to us, but understood our situation, and was willing to work with us to do only what was absolutely necessary to keep the cost down, and made suggestions about things we could do ourselves. My original inquiry was on a Friday. Fritz showed up on Monday and gave us an estimate before he left the property. The day after we signed the contract with him, he brought over the fascia boards and cleanout boxes and a sample of the gutter color, so that we could buy paint and get all the fascia painted before he came to put everything up a week and a half later. Fritz communicated clearly what he needed from us and what we should expect. He and his coworker, Kevin, got the tear-down done in one afternoon, and the rest of the job done the following day. They were on time, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I would have no hesitancy at all in recommending them to others.

It went very smoothly. They came and were very easy to deal with. They did a wonderful job and the cost was very reasonable.

Sound Gutters and Roofing gave me what I thought was a reasonable offer on gutter replacement. Since it was late in the season we had to work around the weather and I had some painting to do before they could be installed. After I had assured him the painting was complete, he gave me notice when it looked like the weather was going to break (sooner than they had originally estimated BTW) and showed up with his helper early on that morning. They worked quickly and had the 1 piece gutters and leaf protection covers in place on my 2 story split level by early afternoon. The installation looks great and met all of my expectations. I would recomment Sound Gutters and Roofing Co. for gutter installation.

I originally called three companies on Angie's List for estimates to have new gutters installed on Sept. 22, 2013. Two of the companies came that week and left an estimate. The first estimate was from Sound Gutters & Roofing Co. , Fritz Rieflin (owner) and his employee came to the house and gave me the estimate with 2 additional downspouts to be added, I was impressed with their thoroughness in making the estimate. We had an avalanche of water coming down from the roof each time it had rained. We had a metal roof installed in 2011 and apparently the original gutters were not sufficient for the metal roof and were old ( home was built in 1987). The second estimate was cheaper, I was not home when they came, they left an estimate, but the estimate with the additional downspouts they said were needed was not added to the estimate. I left a message and they called right back telling me the amount that the additional downspouts would cost, it was still considerably lower. The third company I called told me it would be approximately 11 weeks before I would get an estimate. As far as I was concerned the third company was out if I had to wait 11 weeks for an estimate. I called Fritz at SGR and I asked why there was such a large difference in the estimate, he told me that it was more complicated and the metal roof. I finally chose the higher estimate as it had everything listed in the original estimate and just felt that SGR was the right company even though it was more expensive. They were backed up at that time and he said he would call on a Friday for the following week when the gutters would be installed. On November 25th Fritz and his two employees came at 7:00 AM the time they said they would be there, They all were great workers and very considerate and did a wonderful job with the gutters, we added one more downspout in back. Everything was put back in it's place when finished and the whole area was clean. We have a lot of solar lights, bird feeders, etc. they had to remove and then replace and they put it all back, I was really impressed with this company, the owner and his employees. Wonderful job and I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needed gutters.

Prompt responses for both the estimate and the work. Very professional. Was middle range of the estimates I got for this job, but was impressed by his straight-forward attitude, his reputation, and quick call back. The job was beautiful - met all my expectations.

I call them out to replace out 10 year old gutters They showed up on time, work very hard, and did a great job. I would recommend them again.

The Owner was very responsive to my requests for customization on the downspouts to divert water in difficult locations.

I got three bids for this job. Fritz was the only one who didn't brag or talk negatively about his competitors. Fritz gave a detailed bid and suggested several improvements over my old gutter system. Of the three contractors, I had the most confidence in Fritz's knowledge and ability to do the job as proposed. The others may have been fine, but Fritz inspired the most trust. And to top it off, his bid was significantly less than the others. He's very busy in the fall, and when I signed the contract he was booked out several weeks. The removal of the old gutters and installation of the new only took about 3 hours. Fritz and his assistant cleaned up very nicely. The gutters seem to be solid, and I haven't noticed any leaks or problems after several rainstorms. The only thing that was a little strange was his assistant put his lit cigarette on my roof while he was working. Roofers and construction workers may do this all the time, but I think it'd make some homeowners uneasy to see a burning object on their homes, even if the risk in this situation is very low.

Fritz and crew came out and tore off old gutters, installed new (white) gutters and downspouts, and hauled off old gutters. I live in a 3100 sq ft house. The whole job, start to finish, took them about 5 hours. Fritz was very professional, and the price was well in line, if not cheaper than other contractors that I received bids from. The only hiccup in the process was the fact that he was booked 4 weeks out. Seemed like it took forever from where we agreed to do the job to when he actually came out. I guess that just means the guy is in high demand! Probably a good thing. I would recommend SGR to anyone.

I previously used Fritz to remove existing gutters and downspouts from my house and provide new gutters and downspouts. I used him again on my new garage because he is reliable, well priced, and does immaculate work. He showed up immediately upon request to give me an estimate. I awarded him the work; and he scheduled his work to fit into my overall project schedule. He showed up when he said he would. The work was as advertised, and he even policed the alley to make sure none of my neighbors ended up with his screws in their tires! These guys are pros! If I had any gutter work left to do I would hire them in a minute.

Work was quick, fast and efficient. They even worked around my rookie flashing work :)

Fritz the owner was easy to work with and addressed the concerns I had very well.They arrived promptly at 7am and left at 1.20pm. Ther product and work is excellent and no debri was left behind. I highly recommend them to do any work you need on gutters.

Called and and left message that I wanted an estimate, he came out the next day and I recieved the written estimate two days later. THe estimate was a little higher than another company, buut the estimate seemed more professional and complete so we went Sound Gutter. He called and let us know tha he was scheduling two weeks out and would call to confirm a couple of days before he did the work. He called on Friday for a Monday appointment. Arrived right when he said he would, removed some old beatup gutters, cleaned up the mess, installed new ones that look great. He was careful with the landscping and left no sign that he had b een there (excepth the new gutters of course). Was great to work with, would recommend him to anyone!

He came here when he said he was going to come, right on the dot. He asked what color we wanted for the gutters, and at the time I thought we wanted a bronze color. The next day I changed my mind, and he didn't get angry or frustrated when I called and told him that. He and his helper were here, at the most 2 hours, and they did a beautiful job. We had an issue with the previous gutter on the front of the house taking too much water and leaking, and he had to create a sort of curvy gutter that we thought would look awkward. The end product he created looks like it has been there all along, and they all work perfectly. I would highly recommend them, and he was just fabulous.

Sound Gutters responded promptly to our request for a quote and provided one in line with those we had received from other companies. We opted to use Sound Gutters based on the positive reviews they received for similar full gutter replacements. Fritz provided an estimated install date and the actual installation date was in line with the estimate. He contacted us a few days in advance to provide exact days and times as well as set expectation regarding resources to which he would need access (e.g. power). He showed up on schedule to remove the old gutters and did us a tremendous favor by pointing out that the piping from the gutter downspouts to the drainage field was clogged. Consequently, we were able to contact another (unaffiliated) vendor and arrange for them to clear those pipes and avoid future potential foundation damage. The ensuing day, his team installed the new gutters. In doing so, they made several recommendations--each of which they clearly reviewed with us--including adding a couple of downspouts. In addition to performing their own work, Fritz and team assisted us greatly in providing clear needs to the vendor handing the underground piping. Though it has yet to rain, the quality of the work looks to be outstanding. The materials are sturdy, all joints appear very solid and the downspouts are securely attached--in fact, much better than they were before. All in all, his team was extremely pleasant to work with, did very high quality work and did so for the estimated cost. I would not hesitate to use them again and would wholeheartedly recommend to anybody else in need of gutter repair or replacement.

My neighbor and I both needed new gutters and downspouts on our houses. Researched Angie"s list and decided to get a quote from Sound Gutters. Fritz returned my call that day July 4 and arrived at the appointed time July 9. Fritz gave my neighbor and me estimates for our jobs and said he could do them both on the same day. He was very honest and up front about our needs. He was very professional and personable in discussing the price and answering our questions. We decided to hire Sound Gutters because of Fritz and saw no need to get another quote. He called a few days later with an installation date of July 24 and said they would arrive at 6:30 am. We had to reschedule due to delays in the house painters' schedule (needed to have fascia boards painted before gutter installation). Fritz was very flexible and allowed us to move the installation date to fit our needs of August 6. Fritz and Kevin, his assistant, removed our old gutters and downspouts the afternoon of August 5. There was a lot of fir needles and stuff in the gutters. They put the stuff in the yard waste bins for recycling and cleaned up was on left on the driveway. Fritz and Kevin arrived as agreed upon 6:30 am August 6. By 11:30 am, they finished installing the new gutters and down spouts on both houses, and cleaned up. My neighbor and I both have plants and flowers along the houses, and they damaged nothing. Fritz and Kevin were a pleasure to work with. We are writing our reviews after a good rain to check Fritz's statement that the gutters are inclined and there should be no standing water in the gutters. And, there was No standing water. More importantly, we should not have the past problems of mosquitoes breeding in the gutters! We highly recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing.

Fritz has been fabulous to work with. He gave me an initial wait of about 4 weeks, but was able to come 2 weeks earlier than predicted. He arrived promptly, in fact 15 minutes early, and finished within his estimated time frame. He and his assistant were both very professional and got right to work as soon as they arrived. They cleaned up everything and even closed the garage door when they left because I had to leave before they were done. I would highly recommend them and would use them again if needed.

Before 12:30 they had finished installing the new gutters on both houses and had cleaned up every bit of debris from the job. My neighbor and I both have lots of plants and flowers in beds along the houses, and they damaged nothing. The charge was exactly what he quoted. We both highly recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing. They are top notch!
