Fritz from Sound Gutters and Roofing did an excellent job on my gutter replacement. He came with one assistant this morning and they completed the work in four hours. His prices were competitive with other companies I contacted. I was impressed with his professionalism and appreciated his willingness to work with my schedule. I would hire him again and recommend his company without reservation.

Fritz did a great job. The fascia board and gutters look better than expected. He was fast, dealt with issues (e.g., rotted wood) swiftly and effectively, and above all did quality work. I would very much recommend him.

I have approached them twice now over the last two years because of their very positive ratings here. Both the times, I have found their office staff to be rude over the phone. The feeling you walk away with is that they are doing you a favor by talking with you. Both the times, I ended up selecting a courteous provider. I can not help but to think that their success on Angies List has resulted in arrogance.

Fritz was very courteous, professional and easy to work with. He explained the work to be completed, time it would take. He contacted me in a timely manner when to product was in and scheduled a time to come back out and installed the new gutter. He explained to me before hand any adjustments that had to be made. The color and quality of the new product is closer to the original then I expected. I'm very pleased with the finished product, cost and overall process.

This service provider was exceptional in all ways. Fritz Rieflin, who I assume is the owner, is a rare gentleman in this day and age. Let me explain, I contacted Fritz on Wednesday, 12/17. It was regarding a downspout that would not stay attached to the gutter. My son tried to fix it but said he could not. I am in a wheelchair so there was no way possible that I could do anything. I explained the situation to Fritz including the fact that I was in a wheelchair. I explained that since I am disabled, I would like him to come out fix the downspout and take a look at the entire gutter system and give me his professional opinion. Fritz explained that he was getting ready to close up shop for a couple of weeks for the holidays but that he would try to get by beforehand. He called the very next day to ensure I was home and said he would be by in a few minutes. This is the part that totally blew my mind! He came out fixed the downspout, inspected the system and said it looked okay. Then to my utter surprise, he told my wife there would be no charge and "Merry Christmas". That type of thing just doesn't happen in today's business world. In fact, I had contacted two other businesses, one for tree removal and another for financial advice. The tree service was supposed to come to my house at 1 pm and was a no-show, although after I returned home, there was a message from him apologizing. He said he had lost track of time and was in an area with no cell reception. This provider was also on Angie's List. The financial institution, was supposed to call me at 2 pm, then called me five minutes early. I was indisposed at the time and asked for him to call back in five minutes. He assured me he would and guess what, it is now two days later and I still have not heard back from anyone. Fritz, I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for your kindess and holiday spirit. The overall experience with Fritz and Sound Gutter and Roof was excellent. The responsiveness and communication was great. The work was executed as scheduled. I needed a slight adjustment to the gutter system to handle large volumes of water during heavy downpours. Fritz called back timely and scheduled a time to come out and take a look. He took care of the adjustment by adding a diverter on the same follow-up visit. I strongly recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing for any gutter job. The pride of ownership and accountability was evident in the process and the installation itself.

It was a great experience. The quote was the lowest by far and Fritz arrived on time and completed the job within a few hours. He walked me through what he was going to do and then showed me them at the end. He even hand built a splash guard at no charge for heavy rain that used to pour off of the roof and over the gutters. The rain now goes where it is supposed to instead of splashing on the house. Other gutter companies tried to sell us larger, more expensive gutters and other add ons that we didn't need. I'm glad that this quote was fair and just what we requested. With the original wooden gutters we had some water in the basement, but after several very heavy rains with the new gutters, we have no issues. They were professional and neat with the clean up and removal.

Fritz and other members of his company were great to work with. They were very professional, both on the phone and then at my home. I was extremely satisfied and very grateful for the excellent service that they provided.

Fritz was very responsible and professional. I left a message with his answering service and received an estimate and color samples within 2 days. He made a follow up phone a day later. In total, I received the 3 quotes. The quote I got from Sound Gutters was above one and near the other but only Sound Gutters provided color swatches. Also, Fritz was the only one who followed up to see if I had any questions. The installation was completed quickly and easily. It was a very professional job and they totally cleaned up after themselves. I will be replacing my roof in the next couple of years and I expect to as him for a bid.

great - I solicited seven companies and they were in the first four for response on the list. From here there were one of three that gave an estimate and could give a date to when the work could be done. Fritz was here, got the work done, end of story. overall, not the lowest price quality, there's some great write-up's here but I won't actually know until next year or so

Fritz from Sound Gutters was very responsive in providing me a quote and the price was reasonable for both gutters and a leaf guard system. A couple of other contractors listed on Angie's list never responded to my request for a quote. Fritz answered my questions about the leaf guard system he uses, they showed up on time to do the work, and the new gutters look great. I'm very pleased with the result and would recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing to anyone.

We had a backflow problem with one of our gutters.,Fritz from Sound Gutter stopped by,looked over the situation and wrote up a competitive bid. After it was accepted, Fritz then made arrangements to accommodate our work schedule, came by and replaced the faulty gutter and downspout. His professionalism and promptness were appreciated. He did an excellent job and we would definitely use his services again.

Fritz is the point of contact, and has an answering service. It appears that he generally does his installations in the mornings, and makes his bid site visits in the afternoons. This makes him a busy person, which makes it difficult to speak with him directly, and nothing ends up happening unless you speak with him directly. There is therefore some frustration in getting the pre-bid visit and the installation scheduled. The work however is first rate, the crew is friendly, knowledgeable, and they answered all my questions and did a first rate job. The workmanship was excellent, and the gutters and leaf protection look great.

I'm very pleased with the work. I solicited multiple bids and Sound Gutters was not the lowest bid nor was it the highest. What sold me was the level of professionalism and the many favorable reviews. Fritz communicates well, takes his work seriously and delivers quality workmanship in a timely manner. All the work was completed the same day. I would feel comfortable recommending Sound Gutters and Roofing to anyone.

Fritz came out very soon after the initial call for an estimate. We accepted the bid and scheduled work for the next week. Unfortunately it seems there were some situations that happened which did not allow the work to happen as scheduled but he was prompt at calling my husband to let him know and to reschedule. On the day of installation they showed up right at 7:00 as they had said and got right to work. The gutters look great! The price was comparable to other quotes we had received. No complaints about the service!

I wanted to replace my gutters, Fritz was very professional, from estimate to job completion. The quality of the work was great! There was one spot that had water drops leaking behind the gutters and when I called him about it he was punctual, professional and fixed it at no cost. it was refreshing to deal with a contractor like Fritz, there was no nickel and diming, he was upfront about everything. The fact that he came back to fix something at no cost after he got paid for the initial work says a lot (based on my experience I don't see other contractors doing that)

It went well. They did a great job, although, it did cost a little bit more than we expected it to, but the quality was great.

Fritz was incredibly responsive over the phone throughout all of our business. He was up front with me about how far out his scheduling was, and he contacted me around the expected timeframe when he was ready to come by. The work was completed in half a day and looked great all around. A couple good rains after the installation I noticed a couple problems with water beading up / collecting in a few places that didn't seem right. He came out and repaired one spot of the installation that didn't seem quite right (I didn't find out exactly what happened there, but I suspect his assistant hadn't gotten something in the right place and it was causing some water to run behind the gutter - as I heard them discussing it during the repair). The second problem was a result of an improperly installed power pole, combined with how the starter-metal was installed - it ended up pushing an incomplete seal for the power pole further out of alignment. Fritz trimmed the seal metal and applied some sealant to fix the problem, and things seem to be fine since then. These repairs were done very quickly after my initial call to report the problem, and he did it without any charge. He was very polite on site and professional. I met him in the morning at the beginning of the job, and he called me throughout the day while I was at work as the job progressed. There were concerns about some of my fascia boards and he needed to replace some - he let me know what work he was going to be doing, though he couldn't give a specific cost estimate until he had done the work. In the end, the overage was small and in line with the additional time / material he took to do the work. I really appreciated being called to get a heads up about the progress and necessary changes to the plan. Finally, my wife was the one who wrote the check and interacted with Fritz at the end of the day, and she said she felt very comfortable working with him also. Overall, it's clear that Fritz does his own work, cares greatly about the quality of the work, and wants his customers to feel like they've gotten what they paid for. I got a number of bids before starting my job, and I felt confident Fritz had experience with the problems he was addressing for me, and the motivation to get the job done right.

Excellent work! I could not be more pleased. From the initial conversation through the estimation process and the actual work, everything went great. I contacted Sound Gutter and Roofing based on the strongly positive reviews the company had on Angie's List and I am very glad I did. Fritz came out and talked with me about options and provided a written estimate. He reviewed the options and I choose to replace everything instead of just a repair. Today Fritz came out and replaced the gutters. They look great and the clean up also very good, I will definitely recommend his company to friends and family.

Fritz was really easy to communicate with and helped me fill out some documents that I needed for my bank since the work was being done as part of a renovation loan. Right before I was about to submit everything, I received an estimate from another contractor (that I didn't realize my girlfriend had contacted) at a lower price. I felt like a real turd telling Fritz that I was going to with the other contractor after all the paperwork he helped me with, but he behaved professionally, which I truly appreciate. I'm having issues with the other contractor now, which I guess is karma. Really wish I stuck with Fritz. Alas, hindsight is 20/20.
