The technician came out the day after I contacted him (much faster than I was told based on initial conversation) and made an assessment of my situation. I was getting anxious to get it dealt with before the onset of the rainy season and was very pleased that he was willing to complete the job while he was there. I was very pleased with my experience.

I found Fritz's name on Angie's list when I had a virtual waterfall coming off my gutter during the last heavy rain. He first suggested I get the gutters cleaned (which I had six months ago, but apparently they had just shifted all the debris to the one downspout which was then clogged). Fritz gave me the name of Moss Boss who came out and cleared the downspout and didn't want payment because it was so simple. Here's a shout out to Moss Boss. Then, because the gutter was showing signs of aging I called Fritz to replace it. He came out a bit earlier than he said he would, replaced the gutter for the exact quote he had given me and put in a downspout at both ends of this long gutter (which it should have had all along). Fritz was efficient, professional and I would recommend him for any gutter repairs.

Fritz was very professional, explained all the details involved. He and his assistant arrived when he said they would and completed the project quickly. He was very patient about a delay on my part.

Fritz was very professional, and a pleasure to deal with. He let me know up front that it was the busy season and that it would be a few weeks before he would be able to do the actual install. I appreciated his honesty and didn't find anyone else that would be able to install any sooner. He was very punctual and did a great job.

I'd like to highly recommend Sound Gutters and Roofing to my friends definitely based on my experience. They just helped me install the new gutters for my house today. From the first call of inquiry to the end of the project, everything well through smoothly and very efficiently. I said I was doing exterior painting last week and wish he could install the gutters after that, then he scheduled the project today. I need to leave home at 8am for work, then they came to meet me and start their work at 7am in the morning. The job was done very well, fast, and neatly. Nice guys! Easy to communicate. And most importantly, their price is quite fair.

Fritz is great. You have to schedule with him as he stays pretty busy. I guess the best way to sum it up was that I got bids from 2 other groups, and when I told them that I had bids from others, they both asked if it was Fritz. And all had good things to say about him even as their competition. Worked with Fritz on trying to schedule to coordinate with painters but just couldnt nail down the times. So had gutters done after painting. Great job,. Fair prices. If I had another place to do, I would definitely call Fritz again.

Fritz contacted within a few hours of my inquiry for an estimate, from estimate to completed work was 1 week.. The replacement of the gutter and downspouts have just been completed and the job was very well done. Fritz and his worker arrived exactly when they said they would and had the job completed in just a few hours and the new gutters look excellent. Excellent, prompt service and the quote was honored even though it was provided almost a year prior. Fitz and his crew worked efficiently, protected the plants, the gutters and house siding. No concerns at all and we were very pleased.

Fitz was very prompt, professional and reasonably priced. We needed new gutters and he did not try to upsell us on getting the roof done as well, which is what another company did, saying that if you get the roof done after the gutters, the ladders will scrape up and ruin the new gutters. Fitz said that was nonsense and that gutters could be protected from scrapes. He did an excellent job.

It went great they were able to accommodate my timeline and schedule, showed up on time. They had estimated it would take 2 hours but I think it took them only an hour to get the job done. Removed old gutters and put up new ones as well as added an additional down spout which was a great call!! They were great I will be hiring them again for the back gutters once I can get my neighbor to agree to the cost.

We had to reschedule once due to a delay in some other work on our house. Fritz was easy to work with on the reschedule. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently, keeping me updated by phone with any changes to the agreed upon work. Overall it was a very good experience.

Fritz responded to our original inquiry within one day. He came out to give us a bid within another 1-2 days, and he did the work less than a week after we accepted the bid. He was 100% professional. They arrived on time, got to work immediately, and finished the job without leaving any mess or debris. The gutters look great. Fritz has a very no-nonsense approach that is very refreshing when you just need the job done well and without waiting forever to get it done. I would recommend him to all.

It went great. Fritz was right on time from the start, very pleasant man. He called me promptly to set up the appointment and came right on time and the job was done in about 1/2 hour. I thought it was a little expensive for what was needed, but I am sure with travel time and everything it has to be worthwhilefor him, and he does provide great service. I would use him again for any roof or gutter problems I might have in the future.

I wish every experience was this great. Fritz is prompt in returning phone calls efficient with the bid process and follows up staying to his word. He scheduled and performed the replacement in a great way. I wish I knew him when I replaced my roof. Can't say enough about the quality work and work ethic,

Prompt and professional service. Overall the gutters were installed well and look great. The mitered corners are very nice. The only small disappointment is a downspout that was placed in the high traffic area of our deck which hangs down too low. They raised it a little, but still could be a problem, would be happier if it were gone altogether.

Fritz came out and put together a bid within two days of being contacted and scheduled the work for the following week. He and his helper took down all the old gutters and down spouts, emptied the leaves and mud into the yard waste bin, replaced them with new, crushed the old gutters flat, and hauled them away. It was the quick and efficient "get in- get it over with- get out- on time- on budget" that you pay a professional for. The addition of a flashing strip to deal with a gap between the roof and eaves was unplanned and resulted in a small ($30+tax) addition beyond the original bid. They were very efficient and professional in coming out and giving me an estimate, then followed through within a few days of my approval to get the work done. The new aluminum gutters look great and work fine. These guys were head and shoulders above everyone else I talked to about the job.

These guys are really busy and work (in large part) at the mercy of the weather. So it took some time to get my job active on their schedule. However, Fritz Rieflin (the owner of the "gutters" part) called me on a regular basis and let me know how things were and made sure I was kept up to date with when they expected to be able to start. Once the job was started, Fritz's roofing partner was engaged to handle the roofing inspection and did the replacement work on the garage roof (torch-down, about 350 square feet). These guys are artists! They did a superb job of tearing out the old roof and repairing the rotted timbers and supports (due to the leaks) -- it's all just like new! Then they installed the torch-down roof and it looks terrific. Had a good test of the roofing a few days after the installation, it poured down rain and the roof handled it just fine. When the roof was finished, Fritz started on the gutters. Once they got going, they finished up in a few days. The new gutters look fantastic and function perfectly. Even put eye-level clean-outs in some of the downspouts to save me from climbing up on the roof to unclog the intakes. Workmanship is great, Fritz is a terrific craftsman and a pleasure to work with. I'm completely happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fritz and company to anyone who needs gutters or roofing work done.

We signed the contract in November after comparing quotes and reviews from 3 providers. We were told we might get scheduled in December, but would have a least a weeks notice. Due to some unfortunate events Fritz couldn't schedule us until January and then he had to reschedule to February. He was very good about reaching out, responding, and giving us plenty of notice. The job went well. Fritz was able to save us a significant amount of money by hammering the sagging fascia board back on as opposed to removing it and or replacing it. The only downside to that was a little unevenness ~1/8' on the bottom of some of the boards where they line up which could've been like that from the beginning. I may end up just sanding it flush and painting, but I still have no regrets as I prefer it the way it is vs spending twice as much to redo the whole thing. The gutters and downspouts look great. Also, they cleaned the rest of the gutters for a small additional fee included in the price above.
