It was a pleasure working with Fritz throughout the process of replacement a leaky gutter above the garage door. He was responsive, professional, made a good recommendation to install an additional downspout, and accommodating of our schedule. He and his partner showed up on time, and did an excellent job very quickly. Would definitely hire again.

Fritz and his partner did a great job. They arrived on time and were very efficient. Less than half a day and they were done with my whole house. The new gutters look fantastic and they didn't leave any mess behind. I'm very happy with the work they did!

Fritz and his crew were great. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and patient in explaining things which I very much appreciated. It was especially valuable to me that the person who bid the job (the owner, Fritz) would also be doing the install work so I could expect no mistranslations between a sales person and the actual crew. Fritz came out and bid the job promptly and during that process not only identified some problems with the roof edge behind the gutters (that I knew were there, and knew also that these issues had been “stop-gap” fixed previously) and he immediately explained how he would fix all that as part of the gutter job, so that everything was done right. Fritz took the extra time to make sure I understood how all the issues would be addressed even down to showing me the materials he would use. The installation process was equally excellent. Everyone showed up on time and the job took the amount of time promised. During the install Fritz showed me how they were repairing the issues behind the gutters so that I understood, concurred with the approach, and would have peace of mind with the finished job. Fritz rerouted a couple of the downspouts for better flow and attached all the downspouts properly to the trimmer boards (rather than the existing attachments to the house body.) Everything looks great and is working as it should. The costs to me were as quoted and I very highly recommend Sound Gutters, Fritz & his crew.

Fritz from Sound Gutters did excellent work and communicated extremely well from the moment of the initial estimate to the day of the work. He was able to show up immediately after I called to do the estimate unlike other gutter companies I contacted who said it could be up to two weeks and then never showed. His pricing was competitive, and he made some suggestions on color and cutting the ends of the barge boards that were very helpful. I would definitely hire him again for a gutter project.

The owner of SGR came to our house according to appointment and gave an estimation cost. After I put the work order down, the owner and a worker came to our house just before Halloween. In the rainy morning, they had the job done efficiently. Everything was as promised and the job was done with high quality.

They were prompt in responding and providing a proposal. Due to a heavy workload weren't able to complete the work for awhile, however, we were pleased when it was completed.

The contractor responded to my bid request, we met, and he outlined what needs to be done. I asked for special treatment on west side of house and he provided a solution. He arrived promptly after my vacation and got to work...job done by noon.

Very prompt response! Job was quoted same day as we called. They were able to work us into the schedule within a week or two! Only issue was that they showed up a little earlier than expected, startling me. Crew was courteous and kept the place neat and clean. House looks great!!!

In a word, excellent. Some specific points: Fritz was exceptional at keeping me informed about schedule. Communication was consistently excellent, timely, and to-the-point. They arrived exactly on time to remove the gutters. On installation day, Fritz called about ten minutes before their scheduled time to let me know that they needed to drop by their supplier to pick up a little more of the color we ordered...the delay was only about half an hour; most contractors I've dealt with would not have let me know for a delay four times that long. When they came to remove the old gutters, they pointed out a flashing issue that I was able to resolve before they came back. Fritz's bid for the job was very modestly above the lowest bid I got; the low bidder may also have done a good job, but given how smoothly everything went with Sound Gutters, I'm glad we went with them.

Originally I thought I would need gutters with covers because of repeated clogging, but Fritz looked over the situation and advised the covers weren't needed, instead I needed more downspouts to avoid standing water. So I just had new gutters with downspouts installed. He had the color I wanted, came right on time and finished in a half day. Looks real good. Courteous and professional.

In general they are the gutter guys - if you need more, like to repair fascia boards or other trim, it is not their thing; someone else needs to do it in advance of the gutter guys.

Sound Gutters and Roofing is a great company. Fritz came to our home very promptly to give us a bid, and was very willing to make changes that I asked for a week before he came out to do the job. Often times someone will come to give a bid and you never see him again, but Fritz and one other man did all of the work themselves. We had huge issues with our gutters overflowing in heavy rains, and he adjusted the new gutters exactly how he said he would and added diverters to fix the problem. I can hardly wait for a heavy rain to test them out! They worked very quickly and efficiently and cleaned up and hauled away all of the old materials. They came out and gave an estimate and also suggested that we add a down spout on a corner of the hose that did not have one. I also had them pipe the upper gutter directly into the lower gutter instead of onto the garage roof as it was starting to damage the roof.

Fritz was very professional in all our conversations, returned my phone calls on the same day, communicated well on what to expect, and delivered on those expectations. His bid was competitive with other bids, and he was willing to write a warranty guaranteeing his work. He removed the gutters, and then we had the house painted. He left a sample of gutter colors, and then dropped by a couple larger pieces that we compared with the house trim after it was painted. He ordered the gutter color we chose, and he called after the materials came in a week later. He arrived on time and had the new gutter installed within 4 hours, and they matched perfectly with the trim. I would definitely recommend Sound Gutters.

Work looks to be quality and very clean. Have had one decently hard rain since the work and could hear the water flowing well and saw the gutters keeping water away from the house (our previous gutters were toast, completely rusted through), Corners look good too. Long wait (originally supposed to be 6 weeks, turned into 9), but understandable coming out of the rainiest season we've had in a long time. Fritz was very professional and struck me as taking a lot of pride in the quality of his work. I would recommend him.
