Kevin did an awesome job ! He revived 18 year old carpet and brought it back to life! It looked like almost new carpet once he was done. A variety of difficult stains were removed including pet stains.

Kevin (owner/operator) was very personable and professional. I really did not expect to have all stains removed. However, the stains were removed and he brought new life to a very old carpet.

I found and contacted Kevin through the Angie's List website, where he had good reviews. He responded promptly, and answered all my questions: what he does, what he charges, is he bonded/insured (yes). He also offered some extra information and background. I felt he was experienced, congenial and trustworthy. Mine was a vacant unit with a key box and I trusted him to go in and do the work without my meeting him there, as I live on the other side of Puget Sound from the condo. My property manager went in afterward and said the carpets looked great. A week or two later, Kevin called me and asked me if I needed him to go in and check on the condo, as he was in the neighborhood. That was totally unexpected and generous, though I declined, as I did not need that. YES, I would recommend Preferred Carpet Care, as Kevin IS the company and has been nothing but professional in his dealings with me.

He puts up corner protectors to protect our walls and furniture protectors under the furniture when done. He moves basic furniture as needed. He provides booties so that we do not track dirt on the damp carpets. He uses cleaners that are safe for us and for our child. We were very happy with the carpet cleaning that Kevin did for us. We had him do several areas in our home and the results were great! He was punctual, thorough, and professional. He worked us into his schedule, much appreciated! He was in touch with us twice that morning, to confirm the appointment, and then to let us know exactly when he'd arrive. He did a miraculous job on carpets that were heavily soiled in places. He did some quick extra adjacent areas at no extra charge. He is polite and friendly. He put corner guards on all the corners his hoses came in contact with. This is the second time he's cleaned carpets for us: our carpets actually need to be replaced, but we are getting some extra life out of them, thanks to his excellent work! I would definitely recommend Kevin to others; his is the only carpet cleaning service I would recommend.

Kevin is the greatest!! He very nice, easy to talk to and professional!! He got my cream colored 10 year old carpets to look like new!! I can not believe how clean they are. You could call Kevin "the carpet whisper." He does an excellent job of getting out difficult stains and bringing a carpet back to life. Kevin also takes pride in his work and the result is a beautiful carpet. He is easy to communicate with as well as scheduling quickly. I would highly recommend Kevin.

Some of the spots came back. It was not thoroughly their fault. It wasn't as great as I hope it would be. It wasn't bad but it wasn't excellent. He was very busy.

Kevin was fabulous. He did a thorough job and explained to us all our options regarding pet stain removal; we ended up having him come back an additional date for a cat urine stain/odor removal, which also worked very well. He also got along well with my 2 year old, which was a bonus!

Kevin did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Above all, we wanted someone reliable and trustworthy to do a good job without oversight because we could not be home to see the finished product. We were reoccupying our home that had been rented for 22 years and asked Kevin to clean all the carpets and stairs before we moved in. The house was empty of furniture at the time so Kevin was able to do a very thorough job. Our property manager/neighbor said he worked h****** several stains and we were surprised at how good the carpets looked after the long rental. We would definitely use Kevin's services again.
