One of the top panes in our garden window (technically, it may be a window wall) was collecting water between the two sheets of glass. Intermountain Glass was rated highly and gave us the lowest estimate, so we chose them. Our installer was personable and professional and worked quickly (it was raining) and efficiently. He even offered to clean up some old melted, black sealing tape that was dripping down the lower window. I was very pleased with the whole experience and will call them when the next pane fails.

They were courteous, on time, and they did a good job. They were knowledgeable about their products. Overall I was very satisfied with the work they performed and will use them again in the future.

Our first contact was with Jeff, their sales/estimator person. He had extensive knowledge of construction and was informative, honest and genuine in working with us to assess our water leakage problems and window replacement options. He spent more time with us and offered a better explanations/understanding of our problem than any of the other four companies from which we received estimates (all on Angie's List). When we changed scope, he was responsive and patient in creating a new estimate and talking us through several different variations of it. Our experience with the actual installation was literally exceptional. It was the best experience with a contractor that we have ever had. The team - Ben, Dwight & Frank - were all courteous, pleasant and very skilled. They took on the unique challenges of our building, quickly figured out how to approach them, and completed a virtually flawless installation on time. They protected our wood floors, our 'touchy' roof, and plantings below the windows throughout the project. When they left the site every day, our living room (the installation area) and garage (a work area) were thoroughly cleaned up. Frankly, I was elated. There were moments each day when I felt like inviting them to dinner for doing such a great job. Instead, I just bought them Starbucks beverages and thanked them a lot. Give this company a chance. They are great people.

They were pleasant, punctual and professional. The estimator arrived when he said he would, as did the installers. They were careful of the interior of my home; laying down drapes to walk on to protect my carpets, for example. The work went quickly and smoothly and 6 months later I am still happy. The window replacements came with a lifetime warranty, and 5 year warranty on labor. The real savings, however, came when one of the installers happened to note the sloping windows on the top of my sunroom had slipped a bit, something I had not noticed. They had been installed a year before by another company that specialized in sunrooms. The Intermountain Glass installer pointed out his concerns and suggested I contact the sunroom company right away as he was concerned that, with the coming heat of summer, they could slide completely off !! I did as he suggested and sure enough, the original installers were out to look at it two days later, concurred completely with IG's installer's assessment and redid those sun room windows (no charge). Without the friendly and free professional assess of the IG installer, I could have had shattered glass littering the patio two stories below this summer. Conclusion: Intermountain Glass does great work, using great people !

As it turned out, the timing didn't work out (we needed to get the windows done before the painters came and couldn't reschedule before the end of the painting season), so we went with another company, even though we ended up spending more. However, I would highly recommend Intermountain Glass for their responsiveness and their competitive pricing and will definitely call them again the next time we need windows or doors.

They got the job through another company so they just got straight to the point. They showed me the product, took measurements, discussed the options and took the order. The only complaint I would have is the installation guy was just a little quick which did some damage to the window sill.

Excellent service throughout, from the salesperson, the person who took exact glass measurements to the installer. All were very professional. I will definitely use them again!

We chose Intermountain because of their record of quality window installation and finishing and price for the quality and amount of work estimated. Jeff from Intermountain gave us a lot of time to review window samples and discuss their installation process during our initial consultation and during our final contract signing appointment. Their critical measurements guy was quick and courteous. After we scheduled an installation appointment we received information a week before installation on how to prep for the installation and what to expect. Very helpful. The installation went well. Unfortunately, it was during the pre-Thanksgiving snow storm. The Intermountain team persevered through cold and snow and made good progress despite the difficulties getting to the site due to road conditions and sub freezing temperatures they had to work in. We plied them with hot food and coffee to keep them warm and they were very appreciative. One of the workers made an incorrect oversize cut and as a result some of our exterior cedar siding had to be replaced. They replaced the siding the next day. Intermountain agreed to cover the material costs for repainting and we'll do the painting ourselves this spring. The first team that persevered through the snow were kind and courteous, professional and communicative. They did a very good job cleaning up. Due to the slow down created by the snow, we ended up having to extend the installation period one more day to complete the final two installs (sliding door and one window). The team that completed those two installs was on time, thorough and worked quickly and well together. After completing those installations, they inspected every window for proper seals, repairing seals I identified as deficient and did a great job cleaning up. Despite the one bad cut, Intermountain did a very good job and I give their workers a lot of credit for working through the snow up through the day before thanksgiving when most of people would just want to get the job done quickly and get home to a hot meal and time with family and friends. They remained thorough and dedicated to getting the job done. We'd definitely recommend Intermountain and use them again.

We could not have asked for a better experience. Every member of the team was friendly, punctual and professional, and they all worked together seamlessly. IMG was the best price of three bids, and the only company that could easily accommodate our needs for the large double-slider window. They also made sure we had the right documentation for the federal tax credit, and applied our Angie's List discount.

Everything went very well. I thought they did a good job and they were timely. The servicemen were knowledgeable, came in on the bid (and significantly less than other companies' bids on the windows), used the quality products I selected, and the job was actually completed ahead of schedule. They were always ready to answer any questions that I had.

The service was excellent. The salesman was very knowledgeable and gave a detailed estimate. I thought the cost was high but other companies were charging even more. The installers were on time for the two days of installation (slightly early one day) and very professional. They were able to address all of my concerns right away without any hassle. I only wish they offered staining services as well as I ll have to do that part myself or hire someone else - and it would be an easier job before installation.

I've bought glazing and windows (which I installed) from Intermountain for years, primarily because their shop is only a couple of miles away and glazing is more or less a commodity and priced competively. When installation is not a factor, it is not really worth the trouble to get additional quotes. But how does the vendor respond when something goes wrong? The Intermountain's counter person made a 1/4" error transcribing my measurements onto their order form and the supplied glazing didn't fit. When I showed them the paper with my dimensions and their paperwork, they promptly re-orded the right size and it was ready for pick up 2 days later. No charge, no grief. Only a $70 error, but appreciated nonetheless.

It went well. There arrived on time and finished in the amount of time they indicated. There were problems with 2 of the windows (manufacturing defects) that were handled with professionalism by the manufacturer with the guidance of the installer. They (InterMountainGlass) use their own installers and this guys did a great job. Even doing a little extra for me. (ssh, don't tell the boss)

***** FIVE STARS ***** NO issues here at all. From beginning of project through to completion we are overwhelmingly pleased with IMG so far. This site will be revisited in one year for additional comments. The initial sales force, Jeff was above average in knowledge and demonstration of products and services. Jeff also stopped by several times to be sure the job was progressing nicely with no problems. The remove & install crews were very courteous and careful, cleaning up frequently and after each days work was done. The quality of the work and the strength of product support is in keeping with the highest of standards. For now we are happy to have selected IMG, a local small family run company. Any one thinking about re-glazing should give them a call, you won?t be disappointed. ***** UPDATE***** June 06, 2011. One year later we are overwhelmingly pleased with IMG. Our heating - cooling utility cost are 19.5% lower than last year..All windows/screens and window sealant are in good shape. The reduction in neighborly annoying noise is remarkable ( no more traffic or barking dogs). Overall very happy. Try IMG if you're thinking of re-glazing you will be happy you did..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We were very happy. We talked to several people and got bids from 3 of them and they were the best bid. We thought we got a very good price from them. I would say it was an excellent experience, we've been very happy with it. They were punctual, very clean and cleaned up. The price was good and they were very pleasant to have here in the house and they seemed to do a very good job. They did a good job pututing in the windows around tile sills. They had to cut in around the sills and did a good job. I would recommend them to others and use them again.

The company was very responsive, the estimator and the installers all showed up when they said, always a few minutes early. The only issue we had was that the manufacturer had sent the wrong pattern for the small window, so they installed the big one and had to come back to install the smaller window. But they returned today, and it took very little time. Both times the guys were very respectful of our bamboo floors and completely cleaned up after their work was done.

They are very responsive, professional and reliable. They did a great job. Their prices are excellent.

The seals in my old windows had all gone bad. Intermountain (Darryl) came out to check them out and estimate replacing them. They were being replaced under warranty, but I also wanted to upgrade the glass to low-E and argon-filled for improved energy efficiency. The whole process went very smoothly, from estimating, preparing a bid, taking the critical measurements, and delivering and installing the new glass, and cleaning up. The technician who took the measurements pointed out that I had U-channel metal spacers inside my old windows. He said they could replicate that style or get another style which had a solid spacer. He indicated that was a better design, cost the same, and they could get the glass sooner. Can you say "no brainer"? The installation went very smoothly. The two techs got everything done in good fashion and cleaned up. Couldn't even tell they'd been there, except for the much better looking windows. I was prepared for at least one pane to not fit properly with that many to be replaced, but that didn't happen. I was able to negotiate a no charge upgrade to the argon gas.

It was easy to contact them, and they were punctual. They were easy to work with, and gave good service. We did have to wait for one window to be reordered but they took care of that. They took care of everything they said they would take care of.

Involved 2 estimate visits and 2 installation visits..all on time and professional.

They were the lowest. It was a difficult job and they did great. They were working three floors up. I felt the price was fair. They were very responsive. They were friendly guys and I would recommend.

In general the job went well, although I had repeatedly asked to get the stop material ahead of time so that I could paint it before it was used, and that didn't happen as requested. Salesperson measured one window incorrectly and asked if I would accept a slightly larger window. I said I would if he agreed to covering the cost of a new sunshade, since the older one wouldn't fit the new window. He agreed to that, and upon trying to submit the bill I learned that the salesperson had left under unpleasant circumstances. The owner of the company is not interested in honoring this salesperson's commitment to me, and check this out: he threatened me with a defamation of character lawsuit if I posted this review to Angie's List!

This company was very professional. They came out and gave an estimate, which is exactly what we ended up paying. They warned us upfront that they are very busy at this time of year, and that it would be a month before they could install the windows. The installers arrived a little early to put the windows in, and did a very good job. They were also friendly, nice, and professional. We're quite happy with the sliding door and window they put in.

Save yourself the trouble. The salesperson was very nice and professional. When he visited for the estimate and said he would have an estimate for us in a couple of days. It has been eleven days, and each time we have called to ask where the estimate is, including from the sales manager yesterday, the response has been ''by the end of the day.'' Still no estimate in over a week from when it was promised. We would have been preferred they say, ''we're not interested'' instead of ''by the end of the day.'' (The only reason we kept calling back is because the other two companies kept falling through on appointments to do an estimate. Scary business.)

Intermountain was by far the most honest and the least expensive of the window companies we contacted. There was no pressure sales and they were polite and prompt. The workers did a great job, were on time and cleaned up each day. Our mother-in-law has also recently used Intermountain and was pleased with the quality of windows she received and the price.
