Great, very detailed inspection report. A must if you are going to buy a home.

Our former landlord informed us on short notice he was selling the house we've rented for many years, and we decided to try to buy it. We are first time homeowners with no experience with the process. The house was being sold 'as is', in a private deal, so we didn't hire a realtor except to draw up the paperwork. We saved money, but had to learn on the fly, and part of that was finding our own inspectors. My mom suggested I join Angie's list to find qualified people. I'm so glad I did! Inspections By Jesse made everything easy for us. Quick response, convenient appointment time, showed up on time, friendly but also focused on the job, very thorough, honest with us about the condition of the house, explained everything clearly and simply. We knew the house was suffering from lack of maintenance by the former owner, but not the technical details, or if anything was dangerous, or a structural issue, etc. With the inspection from Inspections By Jesse in hand, we felt confident enough to commit to buying this house, knowing which repairs were most necessary and which could wait, and also knowing the house was neglected and in need of work, but not unsafe or beyond reasonable repair. We had our home inspected by Jesse and it was more than what we could have expected.We found Jesse through Angieslist, and were really happy with the inspection on our future home. He was available on late notice and the scheduling with Tiffany was very easy.As new homeowners we weren't sure what to expect. Jesse explained the process and answered all our questions professionally no matter how silly it was. Jesse was very professional, very thorough with his inspection, and took the time to recommend things for us to do and fix. We received our report nine hours later via email in a PDF with pictures. We would highly recommend him to friends. The $25 Angielist discount was definitely the cherry on top! Thank you, Jesse!

Scheduling was easy, confirmation call was received shortly before appointment. Jesse arrived on time with his teammate and they had this great system of him performing the inspection and reporting all findings in on a walkie talkie while his teammate recorded it all on his laptop. This seemed to enable Jessie to easily report what he saw and make sure nothing got missed. He was incredibly thorough, inspecting interior, exterior, garage, etc. He welcomed us to follow him around in case we had questions (and -- when we did -- he was very forthcoming with educating us, providing tips, etc.). His assessment was fair and balanced: he indicated the areas of highest concern, what needed to be performed by licensed specialists, and the areas that were more something that should be monitored for possible future action. We have a very detailed report that we got from him via email the SAME DAY he performed the inspection (seriously. He finished mid-afternoon, we had the emailed report that same night). It is 44 pages and includes all the expected detail, including pictures, which will be especially helpful as we start tackling some of our inspection items. There was also a high level description of the overall condition of the house where I assume it would've been noted whether or not it was in an extreme state of disrepair or if it was kind of where it was expected to be given the age (this oddly made us feel better when it was indicated that -- despite a long list of to-dos, the house is in a decent state for its age). Jessie and his teammate were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking questions (even dumb ones). To speak to his approachability, I even just randomly had questions about other things I noticed in different areas of the house and backyard and he was totally fine to stop what he was doing, come over and take a look, and answer my questions. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an inspection, frankly. This team met every expectation and I have firm confidence that the lengthy list we received is exhaustive and gives us the complete picture of what needs to be addressed in our home.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Inspections by Jesse. Scheduling was very easy and quick and we were amazed with the professional and thorough job done by Jesse and his team. The town house was reviewed top to bottom including not just the big stuff, but every appliance, faucet, outlet, thermostat you name it. The radiant heating system was something we were completely unfamiliar with and in addition to checking every single room's function they took plenty of time to explain the system, the shut off procedure, annual maintenance recommendations and even possible future improvements. They walked us through to show us key items about the home and we had plenty of time to ask questions. The very same day our written report arrived by email. There was an excellent summary of their findings as well as detailed information for each of their inspection categories that included pictures. Great information about what should be repaired, addressed soon, or watched in the future was outlined and there was even advice on regular maintenance and things to remember to do as part of your move. The peace of mind you get from knowing this much information about the new place you plan to call home is priceless. I highly recommend Inspections by Jesse; we were more then impressed.

Excellent service and efficiency! Very web-friendly allowing scheduling and confirmation online. The inspection process was exceptionally efficient with two inspectors transmitting findings via radio to a recorder allowing the entire inspection to be completed in less than two hours. A thorough and detailed report was completed and e-mailed back less than a day after the inspection. The inspectors were all friendly, respectful of our home, and tidy. The inspectors provided a verbal summary of significant findings and suggestions for resolution. The inspection team arrived about 15 minutes after the appointment, which is within reason.

Excellent job. VERY thorough. Pointed out several issues that weren't deal breakers, but did alert me to the fact that they should be brought up with the home seller. Saved us at least $4000 of our initial offer price. Will definitely only use Inspections by Jesse from now on.

We hired Jesse to provide and inspection for a newly-purchased house. He was perfect. He took us around every bit of the house (inside and out, including a detached garage) and explained everything he noticed, both good and bad. He went into quite a bit of detail on the walk-through, even though everything would be in the report. He would show us problem areas, then suggested ways they should be fixed, and even ballpark costs for those fixes. And, of course, which were important to fix right away and which could wait or were merely cosmetic issues. He made sure we understood everything, and was happy to answer any questions. His assistant (whose name I forget) camped out in our kitchen during the inspection to take detailed notes on a laptop, so nothing was forgotten, and Jesse was free to talk to us instead of stopping to take notes. We did have a little mishap with, let's just say, a problem with rotten wood that Jesse "discovered" by stepping through it. Even though it was not his fault at all (and was in fact helpful, since we wouldn't have known about it otherwise), he offered to pay for repairs. We declined, but it was a generous offer and spoke to his professionalism. I have zero complaints with the inspection. Jesse was very friendly, obviously knowledgable, efficient, and he and his assistant were both personable and professional. The report, as well, was detailed and informative. I didn't shop around for prices but rather chose him based on reviews, so I can't say how his prices compare to others. However, I definitely feel the expert information we got was worth it.

Jesse checked: - roofs - plumbing - heating - dry walls - dry wall pop up nails - molds - garage - structural issues - thermo images - gas functionality - electrical outlets - kitchen cabinets - hard wood floors - squeaks - interior structural finishing - attic - crawl space etc.

We had Jesse do a pre-listing inspection for us. He and his staff were clean, professional and did a thorough job. They found several major items that needed to be corrected. His report was detailed and was provided to us within 24 hours.

Scheduling was a breeze. I was happy to be able to text a request for an appointment, since it's inconvenient for me to get away during business hours to make a call. Jesse initially inspected a property for us in Seattle that we ended up passing on. We thought he did such a great job on his original inspection that we contacted him again, a week later, to complete an inspection on another property. Jesse showed up on time, and even though my real estate agent was late (to both appointments), he waited with us without complaint. As he inspected both properties, he took us through the issues he found, and emailed a detailed report to us within 24 hours.

Jesse was available within 24 hours of an inspection deadline, an extremely tight timeline. He showed up early, handled our paperwork on-site. Began exterior inspection without delay. He was courteous, professionally dressed, clearly experienced, extremely thorough, patient in answering all of our questions, and extremely knowledgable/informative about things we needed to look for through our home ownership experience. .... and he brought us snacks!!! That's right, a basket full of treats, water, soda, just in case we got tired and hungry during the inspection. I'm serious.... But that's not even the best part. Less than an hour after the inspection was completed, the thorough and complete report, invoice, and receipt was in our email inbox. Normally things done this quick could be perceived as rushed but this was carefully explained, well documented with photos from every concern area, and recommendations for future care were listed. He even took our credit card information with his card swipe device on-site with no hassles but did charge a small convenience fee which was well worth it. For a first-time home buyer, there are a lot of high-anxiety things about getting your house. Jesse and his assistant Matthew made the inspection the lowest stress, best experience a homeowner could ask for. Thanks for doing your job so well!

I didn't purchase the house that I paid to have inspected but I will use Jesse for future purchases. I don't love that I spent $460, but I believe Jesse's knowledge and professionalism were worth the investment.

My seller requested the inspection be done within 5 days (including weekends!) so i had a pretty hard time finding inspector. Jesse agreed to come look at the property on such a short notice. I was still worried because I had to send the report to the seller on the same day the inspection was done. I heard from my agent that it could take 3~4 hours and writing report takes a long time. Jesse's sample report is about 40+ pages long so it is understandable that it takes a while. I realized that I didn't really had to worry when Jesse showed up with his assistant. While Jesse himself was inspecting the house, he talked to his assistant through walkty-talky and the assistant prepared report on the spot. The inspection was done in an hour and i got the report in my email in an hour. Unmatched professionalism. One would think that the report wouldn't have much material given it was done in an hour but it was 45 pages long very thorough report with many findings. Thank you so much!

Jesse was on time with an assistant. He was very thorough and detailed. I walked with him as he inspected and he explained everything to me. He is obviously very knowledgeable about home building. He caught a major plumbing problem that would have caught us a lot of money in the future to change (that was just one of the many things he caught). He also told us that there was a lawsuit out regarding the kind of plumbing that was inside the house. We brought this up to the seller. Jesse also noted what was good about the house a well which was good to know being that we're planning on buying the house. Jesse would walk around noting what he is seeing out loud while this assistant takes down the notes. My wife had multiple email conversations with Tiffany and she is super friendly and prompt in responding. I would definitely use them again... we're planning to set a re-inspection of the house with Jesse again.

Jesse did an outstanding job inspecting our home prior to closing. He did such a great job that we are planning on having him do another inspection in a couple years or so, just to make sure we don't overlook any maintenance issues. The best and worst thing about Jesse is how thoroughly he looks at your house. It was a little disheartening to see how many things he found wrong with our dream home. But in the end, we were able to use his report to save ourselves significant money. When we submitted his report to the sellers, they took care of everything we asked for at their expense. We credit this to Jesse, as we didn?t ask them to repair everything on his report, but they would have had to disclose that (exhaustive) report to future prospective buyers. Now we can rest easy knowing that the major concerns Jesse noted have been addressed and we won?t have to invest in repair work down the road. And thanks to Jesse we still have a list of minor issues that we can address in the future to improve our living space.

I'm very happy with the service I received for Inspections by Jesse. Jesse answered all my questions prior to scheduling the appointment, he provided thorough explanations while conducting the inspection, and provided a very detailed report of his findings.

Called him to see if could squeeze me in for a last minute inspection. His wife, Tiffany, who manages the office, was very nice and courteous, and accommodating. There was a last minute cancellation, so they could fit me in. Jesse is very thorough, and detailed. He showed me things that needed some attention, and explained, answered any questions I had. He was very patient with my interruptions. Very thorough, and I will definitely use him again. He even suggested, if I like, to have him do another inspection, at month 11 of my new home warranty, to have him come out, to see if anything needs attention, prior to the warranty expiring. It will be worth the money. I will definitely have him come to any other work I may need in the future. He even brought snacks for us with him. He goes the extra mile to make his customer happy. Kudos.

I used a coupon. They checked on anything that I might need to change before I finally purchased the house. They did a really good job. They are very informative and took a lot of pictures. They worked together as a team.

Jesse was great. He showed up on short notice and was very thorough and professional. It is a quite large house and he spend hours going through every inch of it in great detail. He also took the time to speak with us and answer any and all questions we had along the way and when asked for his opinion he readily gave it. Most impressive was the fact that we had his fully completed report with pictures & diagrams in our email before we even got home from the house. I was very happy with the services performed by Jesse. From the moment I contacted him he was responsive and professional. I have lived in my home for 5 hears and wanted to have an inspection done to make sure I was taking care of the maintenance properly and identify any potential problems that needed to be addressed. I am not one to go in the attic and crawl, so wanted someone to check the structure for any items that had changed with my homes aging. He treated my home with respect and was very thorough in his inspection. The report clearly outlined the items that needed to be addressed. I will absolutely use him again and would highly recommend him to family and friends.

It was an incredible relief and satisfying experience to have Jesse and his assistant come to my home and inspect the foundation and attic. They proved that the ceiling cracks were not due to failure of any kind and completely normal. Amazingly Jesse found a vent that was no longer attached to my vent through the roof, causing condensation buildup, and fixed it for me free of charge. That is amazing service, if you ask me. Considerate, caring, professional and extremely helpful people running this company. Will never call anyone else if I need these services again. Good people like this make frustrations like mine a breeze.
