Matt Conway was very thorough - he inspected every inch of the place, which is what you want if you are paying top dollar for a pre-inspection. I even had questions later and he made the time to answer my questions over the phone. I enjoyed working with him.

Jesse was great to work with. He came recommended by our agent. He was always punctual, professional, very knowledgeable, and just fun to work with. We learned a lot from him each time he did an inspection for us--three times, due to this crazy market. He was very thorough and explained issues clearly. Our inspections were always scheduled with enough time to put together our offers. The inspection report is well documented and easy to understand. Jesse and Matthew took several photos (and some video) that have helped us in prioritizing. Though we were beginning to wonder if we were ever going to find our house, we did enjoy our time with Jesse during the search!

Thought it went well, but once we moved in, found a lot of issues with house not reported. Rotting siding, rotting porch support beams, poor kitchen plumbing,

- Inspector did not come prepared to look at roof (ladder not long enough) even though we discussed roof as one of the main items to inspect. - There was no crawlspace to inspect. For inspecting neither roof nor crawlspace, the price was too high. - Inspector marked some items as issues that later multiple general contractors deemed were not accurate. - Inspection did not seem thorough. Inspector rushed quickly due to adjacent appointment. - Scheduling was efficient. - Report was prompt. Summary: I've had far more thorough inspections from others. Shop elsewhere.

It went well. Chris showed up early and he did a thorough and professional inspection.

Jesse was extremely thorough, right on time, and easy to work with. The sample report on his website is very representative of the report I got from him. He performed the inspection (along with his assistant Matthew) from 2:30-5:00pm and I had the report waiting in my inbox 4 hours later, much faster than I expected. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Jesse was very thorough and knowledgable. He discovered that the builders hadn't installed the siding properly and was very helpful in helping us understand the manufacturer's recommendations and the risk we'd be taking on.

I am very impressed with the overall experience of dealing with the entire team of "Inspections by Jesse". I needed an inspection for my newly constructed home, and the team setup an appointment (that suited my needs) on a very tight schedule. Jesse and his assistant Matt were very professional: arriving precisely on time, explaining the process, offering snacks, providing helpful maintenance tips, and most of all, producing a detailed report of issues that needed addressing in record time. I was able to present the report to my builders well ahead of closing so they could address the issues. I'd highly recommend their services. They are very professional, helpful and easy to deal with.

Jesse was amazing ! He had asked for details and photos of my concerns so he could decide if a visit was needed or not. Then he called me after he reviewed everything. He shared with me on what the causes might be and how to remedy them. If after my husband and I do the 'homework' and things don't resolve, then he said to call him back. He was very thorough in his explanations as to what the causes for our situation may be and how to fix them. I appreciated him devoting so much time in educating me on the possible reasons for the mold and roof leak. Thank you Jesse! We will keep you posted either way.

Excellent. We used him twice and would use him again

We used Inspections by Jesse for two inspections and a re-inspection. All three appointments were with Jesse and his assistant Matt. The first was for a mid-century home that had a 2008 addition, and the second was a newly-built contemporary home (our ultimate purchase) with a re-inspection per our purchase contract. Each appointment was great. Making the appointment with Jesse was easy via his wife and business partner, Tiffany. She is very communicative and customer obsessed. For each appointment, Jesse and Matt arrived several minutes early, which gave me a chance to discuss possible concerns and items to watch for during the inspection before walking into the house with the selling agent. They set up their laptop with a surface protector and brought refreshments for us, which was a great touch. Jesse then proceeded to inspect the property, radioing his findings in to Matt, who recorded them on the laptop. Among standard tools, they used a moisture meter and a FLIR camera. After they completed the inspection, they walked me through the itemized list (separated into major concerns, safety items, and repairs) in person. Both Jesse and Matt were very knowledgeable and thorough in their work. They were able to explain to us why something was wrong, how it got that way, and how it should be fixed. This helped guide our decisions for purchase as well as how much to request for re-inspection. We would both highly recommend Inspections by Jesse for home inspections.

Jesse and his associate performed the inspection personally. He arrived at the promised time, brought all the necessary equipment, and took the time to explain each issue to me in terms I could understand. I know little about home construction, and Jesse was happy to explain everything I needed to know and more. The builder we bought from builds high quality homes, but nobody is perfect and Jesse found problems that I would never have considered. He spent 2 hours examining every nook and cranny, in crawlspaces, attics, and rooftops. He has a keen eye for detail, and goes well above the average home inspector. He clearly works hard, taking on a full day of inspections, and returns home where he churns out detailed reports for his customers. I received the report that same day around 11 pm--he's clearly working long hours. And with just 3 inspections a day, it's obvious he puts serious time into each one. I felt that for the fee he charged ($500), I got more than my money's worth.

Arriving on time, Jesse and Matthew immediately went to work. They investigated everything from light switches to the construction details, top to bottom. While listing and photographing each item, they explained what their findings meant and whether a major or minor repair was in order. I have bought and sold several houses over the years, and the bottom line for this review is that I wouldn't want to buy a house without having Jesse inspect it first. He's the best.

Amazing inspection. Jesse and Matt did an extremely thorough job, and we definitely felt like we got our money's worth, and much more. Inspection took about 3 hours, and Jesse sat down at the end of us with it to walk through the major issues. They were very knowledgeable about fixes for potential issues. We covered all the major systems - electric, plumbing, heat, water, water in the basement, etc. along with more minor issues (such as flooring, tile, faucets, etc). We picked a crappy day for the inspection - it was 45 deg and pouring rain, but Jesse was still on the roof, poking around outside, etc. Nice work!

Jesse and Matt provided a complete home inspection for me, pending purchase. This was actually the second time they have performed this service. The first time the inspection revealed issues that stopped the home purchase. Their inspection saved me from a $460,000 mistake. Another search and another home and they once again far exceeded my expectations. Once again they provided a learning experience for me explaining the new home and functions. Answered questions and provided their honest opinion on construction, craftsmanship, normal wear vs excessive, purchase value, immediate vs future repair items and general feel about the home. They are in houses all day long so their insight and opinion was much appreciated and freely provided. Their report arrived the same day, with each issue and item highlighted with photos. They were prompt and on time, professional, courteous, and above all treated me as a friend or family member. I felt like their words were honest and sincere and only given in my best interest. I recommend them not only for your next purchase inspection but also just for a House Physical. This would be a great way to understand what your house might need that you don't readily see.

Really good. I walked away with a to do list for my builder as well as my job as a homeowner. Because of Jesse's expertise, I feel confident in the next steps. He provided an extensive report that outlines big issues as well as minor repairs needed. He and his partner explored every inch of my house - roof top, attic, under the house, inside the house - everywhere!

Jess and Matthew went beyond what we had expected. Fortunately or Unfortunately they exposed a number of major issue that require immediate mitigation before the home purchase may move forward. They were very thorough and in addition to the major issues they also pointed out future concerns and provided estimate time frames for addressing the issues. They provide solid advise in dealing with and understanding the issues, as well as putting them into perspective within the bigger picture. The home was actually rather new and we had considered forgoing the inspection prior to purchase but decided it would be worth the time and expense and went ahead. Having just sold a home we knew there might be issue unseen to buyer or seller. Jess worked us into his schedule and was prompt, thorough and professional.
