Inspections by Jesse

We hired Jesse to do a pre-listing home inspection. We wanted to know what needed to be done to our house before we listed it for sale and have the opportunity to address the issues immediately. Jesse arrived at the house in a timely manner. He was efficient, thorough and quick. He had his assistant with him. While Jesse did the actual inspection and took photos, his assistant was inside the house with the computer. As Jesse did the inspection, he used a radio to dictate to the assistant the results who then input it into the computer. This provided a quick and thorough inspection with nothing missed. Once the inspection was completed he went over his findings verbally and answered all our questions at that time. The report was received by us via e-mail with 48 hours. It was well documented with both his observations and legal information. It followed his verbal findings very closely and has been very helpful in our preparing the house for the market. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Jesse found many, many issues during the initial inspection as he was so thorough! Most people would have walked away from the home but with Jesse's comprehensive report, my mother chose to counter with most of his recommendations. Shockingly, the seller agreed to many of them and Jesse found himself back in her home for the first re-inspection. Again his thoroughness showed that the seller tried to cut many corners and Jesse outlined this, along with pictures, in his report with additional information included about codes and minimum requirements. The seller then fixed items according to the second inspection and Jesse was able to sign off on their work during the third inspection. Jesse and his team went over the home with a fine tooth comb and their report didn't miss a beat. It was outlined in a way that met the technical aspects of things but also in a manner that the average Joe could understand. He also took the time during the inspection to show us things and explain them in ways that made sense to us---things we may have overlooked, easily. His inspection reports also came in a very timely manner (most the same day) and contained all the right information, including pictures or reference material where needed. We wouldn't hesitate to use Jesse again and have already recommended his services to others who have had the same experience as us.

The inspection was very thorough and found issues with the house that might have taken years to show-up after the purchase. His factual data and supporting photos helped me with my negotiations, and the detail in the re-inspection reports made sure I was able to communicate effectively with the seller. The initial inspection cost was competitive with the market place (about $425), but the subsequent re-inspections got spendy --- the expense was worth it, since I know exactly what & how the repairs were made on the house. Jesse and his assistant Matt, work efficiently and effectivley. Using a digital camera, a lap top, and cell phones the team moved through the house photographing and recording the issues as they found them. I had a preliminary verbal report of key issues before they left the appointment, and within a couple of hours had an electronic version of the full report in my hands to use in negotiations. They are organized, clean, knowledgable, and friendly. Jesse was able to answer all the questions I had about the house & his findings. After the seller made the requested repairs, Jesse was able to do the reinspection quickly so we could complete the sale.

Overall I found Jesse to be very professional, low-keyed, and very informative. I don't think that he missed anything, and was quite willing to look at anything that I was concerned about. It was a very positive and beneficial experience for me and my wife. His report was exceptionally complete, specific, and clear. The charge for the inspection was reasonable. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

A-PRO is Great! I found this company on Angie's list. It had a ton of great reviews so I felt comfortable calling them. Don't believe the 1 negative review associated to the company. That lady never even had any services performed. Jessie was already at the home starting the inspection before i arrived (i was late). He was professional and very easy to understand. I walked through the entire home with him and he answered all of my questions. A few days later I had an question involving a water tank. I called A-Pro at 6pm and they were able to address my issue within minutes. They are very professional, prompt and knowledgable. If you are unsure of who to try....Try A-Pro!

Jesse and his assistance showed up on the morning of the inspection on time and ready to work. They quickly turned to and began the inspection and started making notes. Jesse was very professional and very easy to talk to and work with. He also showed us where to find and operate the important items of the house, ie heater filters, fuses, water shut off, etc.. While the house was huge, he stayed and covered every square inch of the place. He quickly uncovered the reasons why I decided I didn't want to buy the place. I'm really glad he was there, I wouldn't want to buy a home without him. Jesse also agreed to take on this job on a very short notice and had a very detailed report ready the next morning.

I used this company twice. At the first inspection Jesse warned me that the roof and siding were shot and offered to cut the inspection short to save me money. So, of course, I chose A-Pro for the second house inspection. Jesse not only know what to look for, he also knows how to explain problem in plain English so everyone can understand what's what.

The money invested in this service is well spent as it provides you with details and pictures of the problem areas, what needs to be done and by what type of contractor. Being proactive in maintenance of an older home is the key in preventing small issues from turning into a huge expensive ordeal.

Tiffany was very helpful in setting up the appointment. Jesse, the inspector, along with his son/assistant were extremely professional and thorough in their inspection. They showed me how to operate and maintain the gas fireplace and heaters, pointed out the water and gas shutoffs, the sewer clean-out, etc. They also went over the potential repair or improvement projects that could be done on the house. They made great use of technology and I got the inspection report emailed to me within 24 hours. I was extremely satisfied!

Jesse and his wife Tiffany quickly fit us into their schedule. He went through the inspection report in detail and the pictures accompanying the report really helped identify any issues that needed correction.

Use an independent inspector for a home you chooose to buy and choose a good inspector.. Jessie is at the top of his game. It reports are very comprehensive and detailed. He knows this buisness.

Jessie came out and did an absolutely thorough job with an impressively detailed report provided within hours (on Father's Day!). He was very accommodating as we needed an inspection done right away due to fast approaching deadlines. We really appreciated that he also took his time explain to us what the areas of concern are and even prioritized for us what we should worry about the most. This was done on-site. The report that he sent us later on that evening was very comprehensive and easy to understand. It included a nice summary in the beginning of the issues with remediation again with prioritization. Then in the remainder of the report there are detailed findings with pictures showing the deficiencies. I will definitely use him again, and I HIGHLY recommend his services.

Jesse is a fantastic home inspector. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone, including my closest friend -- or my mom. He is very knowlegeable, thorough, detailed and personable. Jesse inspected three homes for me between February & May 2011. These homes ranged from a big-time fixer-upper with significant structural and mold issues, to a move-in ready developer home. Jesse's knowledge and approach has been a perfect fit for each unique situation. I consider myself a savvy & knowledgable home buyer, and I have good knowledge of construction, home improvement and general contracting. I'm not afraid of a project, but I want to know what I'm getting in to. The first home Jesse inspected for us had significant issues, and he was instrumental in diagnosing the scope of the project. Jesse found much more wrong with the home -- in much more detail, and perspective -- than the previous inspection revealed. I am demanding of a home inspector, and insist on following them around asking tons of questions. Jesse was completely supportive of this, and seemed to appreciate my involvement & interest. He was patient and detailed in his answers, practical in his recommendations, and always careful to put issues into perspective. This was the case with each of the three homes Jesse has inspected for me. His official reports have been 50+ pages, while also very organized, detailed, and actionable. Jesse is knowledgable in his craft as a home inspector: the best I've ever worked with. He is also clearly a very good person: the kind of person I like to do business with.

Jesse was extremely professional and thorough. He brought an associate who sat at the dining room table throughout the entire inspection taking notes into a laptop that Jesse broadcast through his radio from the roof, crawlspace, exterior and interior. From the first phone call to his followup advice via email Jesse was easy to communicate with, respectful and helpful. Highly recommend.
