Outstanding! We came into the process as neophytes.Our Harley rep was very patient in educating us on the various types of windows available allowing us to make informed decisions. The installers did an excellent job with the windows and went well beyond by caulking some siding areas that were on a side with no windows! Their clean up was done with care and respect for the property and done promptly. The appearance and overall curb appeal could not have been better. We immediately noticed an improvement in both lower sound level and decreased heat transfer at the end of summer. When winter arrived we were in for a very pleasant surprise..........Lower heat bills! The maintenance and upkeep are very easy, a little soap and water. Overall we would say that our experience with Harley Exteriors and their installers couldn't have been better.

I highly recommend Harley Exteriors. We had windows installed in 2 waves. The first time was 2 years ago and we got 6 new windows, basically all the old ones that had lost the seal, were foggy or leaking. I noticed a difference especially in my room. Harley Exteriors gave us a guarantee to use the special promotion for 2 years so this summer I realized we needed to check back in and see if it was still available. Harley honored the discount and we contracted for 11 more windows. Harley Exterior installed a total of 19 windows for us in two waves, 8 windows the first round, 11 the second. In both instances, the installation was done correctly and properly (no after installation leaks, drafts, etc). Also the installers were professional, courteous and quick both times. As a result, we experienced a significant cost savings to our electric bill in addition to having an upgrade of better windows from the previous 1970?s single pane aluminum framed windows originally installed on our home and the fact these windows have a lifetime warranty is added assurance to its quality. Plus they look better?

The entire experience with the Staff at Harley's was exceptional!! What a wonderful group of people to work with. We first met some of their sales staff at the Home Remodel Show in Seattle. They were extremely professional and helped us understand all the "ins and outs" of replacing old windows. The estimator that came out to look at the "project" couldn't have been nicer. He was here on time, explained all of our options (we even re-configured some of the windows) and was a pleasure to work with. Six weeks later we met the most FANTASTIC crew of workmen that I have ever had work on the house. Tony, the foreman made himself available to us for any questions etc. at all times of the day or evening. Communication, what an awesome concept!!!!!!! The neighbors were so impressed with the work that Harley did, THEY had them install windows, doors etc in their house too! Then my husband had this great idea about adding a window to one of our rec rooms in the basement, so we called Harley and Tony and his crew were here and did an excellent job of giving us light in a gloomy basement! We couldn't be more pleased with everyone from Harley Exteriors. We are now in the process of doing more to the house and yard, and I am quite sure we will be calling on the "crew" again when the time comes to change some windows around! Are we pleased???? AND, AS WE LOOK AT OVER THE SOUND, THE VIEW THESE NEW WINDOWS PROVIDE IS FAR SUPERIOR TO WHAT WE HAD PREVIOUSLY. WE RECEIVED QUOTES, AND LOOKED AT WINDOWS, FROM TWO OTHER VENDORS, AND THOUGH HARLEY WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST (THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE), THE QUALITY OF THEIR WINDOWS WAS OBVIOUSLY BETTER, AND THE FRAMING AROUND THE WINDOWS HAD A SMALLER FOOTPRINT THAN WHAT THE OTHERS WERE OFFERING, SO BY CHOOSING HARLEY, OUR VIEW WAS MINIMALLY IMPACTED, AND WE HAD A HIGHER QUALITY OF GLASS. AND, THOUGH THE WINDOW FRAMING WAS SMALLER, IT WAS MORE RIGID THAN THE THICKER FRAMING OFFERED BY THE OTHER COMPANIES DUE TO THE WAY THE HARLEY FRAMES ARE CONSTRUCTED. ADDITIONALLY, WE TYPICALLY GET 60 MILE AN HOUR WINDS WHERE WE LIVE ON WHIDBEY ISLAND, SO HAVING WINDOWS, AND WINDOW INSTALLMENT, WITH A LIFE TIME GUARANTEE WAS IMPORTANT TO US. THE OTHER TWO COMPANIES, BECAUSE WE LIVE NEAR THE WATER, WOULD NOT GIVE US THIS TYPE OF GUARANTEE. WE HAD ONE INSTALLATION CONCERN ON ONE OF THE WINDOWS, SO THE OWNER CAME OUT WITH THE INSTALLER TO WORK WITH US. THE PROBLEM WAS MORE THAN SATSFACTORILY, AND PROMPTLY, RESOLVED. THEY COULDN'T POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN NICER OR MORE WILLING TO RESOLVE OUR CONCERNS. I WISH ALL COMPANIES HAD THEIR LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Having the sales guy out was a nightmare. The windows do look to be high quality, but the sales process is horrendous.

we are very happy with our windows. they are highly efficient. we have noticed a decrease in our heating bills in the winter months. they are highly efficient also in keeping our home cooler in the summer months. between the beautiful large thermal windows along with the windows that open for air circulation, our home is very comfortable year around. the consultants assisted us in choosing the perfect style of obscure windows for privacy in select areas, while still allowing light in those areas. the locking ability on the windows is easy to use and very secure, providing a sense of security. the installation team that came to our home was very professional, proficient, and knowledgeable. we would definitely recommend Harley windows ! thank you so much !

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Harley Exterior's. When we decided that we wanted to replace our windows we were very uneducated, we knew that we wanted to get vinyl windows but had know idea on where to start. When we had the Harley Exterior sales rep come to our house he was right on time and started with my husband, I was not home yet from work, and then he restarted the whole pitch when I got home. He was so helpful on educating us on the different qualities of vinyl and glass. We had no idea of how important those kind of thing were and how much it effects the overall quality of the windows you choose to buy. After learning all about Harley Exteriors we were sold, we knew that we wanted to buy their product. We have 17windows, two sliding glass doors, and a garden window in our house so we knew that it was going to cost us a pretty penny to get new windows but didn't realize what good quality windows was going to cost us. After we got our quote we decided that we wanted to go with Harley Exterior but because of price decided we were going to have to wait a year and save up some of the money. Our sales rep was very polite and not pushy when we told him no he completely understood but said that he could make us an offer to split the cost of windows and purchase half now and the other half within 24 months. Once he offered us that we really felt that we couldn't refuse, we were able to buy the windows for the front side of our house where we get most of our sun exposer. It has made such a difference in the temperature of our house and our natural gas bill went down by half in one month! The installers were very quick and professional and made sure everything was to our linking before they left our house, they went around and fixed any scratches in the drywall, cleaned everywhere they worked, and the windows look beautiful we received so many compliments from our neighbors. We were extremely satisfied from beginning to end of our entire transaction with Harley Exteriors this summer. The salesman was not pushy and worked well within our means of funds to pay for our new windows in which our 23 yr old house desperately needed. He found a reasonable funding source that we could afford each month. The installation was smooth and painless. The installers were pleasant, timely, and knowledgeable about their products, they gave us a brief overview of how the windows worked and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Harley Exteriors for your windows. We have not had the opportunity to have other services performed, but will contact them when we do.

The installer arrived exactly when he said that he would. He measured all the original windows first to make sure the replacement windows were the correct dimensions. He installed the two 2nd story old single pane window replacements first. Before he started tearing out the windows, he laid down drop clothes to catch the debris. I watched the entire process. He was really efficient and explained the whole process as he worked. The windows went in beautifully, everything was caulked, then he cleaned up all the debris and vacuumed. The installation of the larger aluminum framed window went equally well. It was fascinating to watch the installer do the install and check each window to make sure that it was functioning properly. It was interesting to see how he could adjust the frame installation to make sure that the windows slid properly without binding. The last window he replaced was an aftermarket garden window in one wall of the kitchen. He had a challenge to get it out of the framework. It was installed with a 2 " flang nailed to the exterior of the house and then covered with wood shingles. The person who put it in wasn't very intelligent. The window was only 32" by 32" and he had put 8 to 10 nails on every side. (My house is an old farmhouse with several less than stellar "improvements") The installer managed to finally get the window out but he had to repair some of the shingles that had broken because they were so old and brittle. After the window was installed, he suggested that a trim board around the window would improve the looks of the window. I agreed to the addition. He was right! It cleaned up the looks of the window significantly. I am truly impressed with the final look of all 4 windows. The most impressive is the garden window replacement. I know that the new window is the same dimension as the old one but it makes the inside of the kitchen look much bigger and brighter. I am extremely happy with my new windows.

The installation was very easy. We were surprised at what little prep work we had to do. Harley showed up with everything they needed to remove the old windows and install the new ones. The workers took great care to not damage the building siding, and to make sure everything fit snugly without any gaps. Each window fit perfectly into each opening with almost no adjustments needing to be made. They also were very good at working within our strict homeowner's association rules about the exterior appearance of the building. At the end of the day we had beautiful new windows, and there was not a single scrap of material left behind. Over the last year we have had no issues with moisture, sound, or drafts with any of our windows. The sliding doors and windows track very well and seal perfectly. Our heating and cooling costs have gone down significantly (the old windows were single pane with aluminum frames). We currently don't have any of our heaters on at all, even in the coldest of winter. The heat from our downstairs neighbor is enough to keep us warm. Overall, I would give Harley a very good rating for having a very high quality product, superior service, professional installation, and all the while being very price competitive with great financing options.

I just recently retired from 25 years in the construction industry. I have been everything from the guy spreading gravel in foundations to the guy in charge of rebuilding stem and gas powered turbines. I found the personal from Harley exteriors to be at the top of there game ! Every one from the ladies in the office, to the sales person to the guys doing the install. They arrived on time fully ready to do the job. All tools and equipment were in great shape and clean. They started inside the home removing the old windows. All floors were covered and protected. They worked quickly and cleaned up as they went. Once moved outside they continued with there professional approach to the job. Needles to say the job was done as promised. Everything was installed beautifully, and the calking was the best I have ever seen.When they left the site, everything was as it should have been, clean and properly installed !!! Every since our new windows have been installed we have noticed a large difference in the time we run our air conditioning during this very hot summer we have had. We also are very happy with the working mechanics of the windows them selves. They work much nicer than our old ones and the double locking devices are a security boost for sure ! Installed new windows but the double hung windows were not installed correctly the first time. Owner came out personally to inspect the install and did what it took to get them fixed. Great customer service! Windows are very expensive but we're hoping the energy savings over the next 20 plus years will help with that. They look great too!

When my wife and myself decided it was finally time to replace our windows in our home. We knew that we would need to ensure that we did our homework when looking for the right company to install the windows. After living in our home for over twenty years and the home being over forty ?five years old, it was well pass due for new windows. We sat through four presentations concerning the window installation for our home from the big box store to local companies. While they were pretty much the same type of windows that were being presented. So after four presentations we had one more to go to finish out the process of determining who would get the job. Well it wasn?t until Harley Exterior presentation that I really got inspired about replacing our windows. The Harley Exterior sales presentation felt like we finally had a options that would truly give us peace of mind. Because we felt we were making a decision that would make us sleep a better at night knowing that we were buying the best products available. Once the finally install date was determined, I started to wondering how much different our house would look with new windows. The installation went smoothly and the installers were very professional and very respectful. I can honestly say that I am very happy when I pull up to my house each night knowing how beautiful our home now looks with the new windows. The installation took place without any glitches, and the windows look great! So glad we went without the grids. It?s amazing how much larger the picture window appears. It really opens up the living room. Love how well we see out, but with the low-e how anyone outside can?t see in that well. The rooms on the sunny front side of our home is where we replaced windows?.it?s wonderful how cool these rooms are on a hot day. We were impressed from the beginning with the looks, construction, demonstration of the R Factor and double lifetime warranty of the Harley windows. Several years ago we had already upgraded the windows in most of the house. The Harley representative recognized that our upgraded windows were of good quality and did not try to get us to buy more than what we needed. The windows we purchased from Harley were for our family room and dining room. In our family room, we have six large picture windows, three of which are custom built trapezoid shaped. We also replaced our 8-foot sliding glass door to the deck. Our old windows which we wanted to replace were aluminum frame which we knew conducts heat away from our home to the outside and causes "weeping." Also the window locks were not sturdy and would break off just from repeated handling. So we are pleased with the substantially constructed locks on our new Harley windows. The top bars of our old sliding windows were high enough that they interfered with the view of our beautiful back yard. So getting Harley windows allowed us to lower the height of the sliders with the result that the views from our windows are now more expansive which we love. Also, the new window framing in the family room and dining room matches the rest of the windows in the house and the siding. Our large family room windows face north and the room in the winter is cool. We are anticipating that, come winter, these new windows will make the room more comfortable. Our old 8-foot sliding glass door was worn out which made it difficult to open and close. Since our old slider and screen were aluminum, we decided to replace them with the more heat efficient, security conscious and color matching frame of the Harley slider. We enjoyed the friendly and conscientious Harley installers, who were not subcontractors, and were amazed that they got all the installation completed in one day. They laid down protective tarps on our carpets and cleaned up the debris from the removal of the old windows. They left the new windows sparkling clean. For all of these reasons, we give Harley Exteriors an A+ rating.

The salesperson was friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. My bedroom is on the West side of my house and used to get extremely hot in the afternoons. The salesman demonstrated a window that would greatly reduce the heat problem. The day of the installation I was given a call and informed the installer was on his way and he arrived promptly. I was amazed at how efficiently and cleanly the installer was able to install my new window. I used to have to use an A/C unit for this bedroom and now with this new window I have not had to use the A/C yet. I could not be happier with my whole experience with Harley Exteriors Inc. and would certainly recommend them.

I made an appointment for a salesman to come to my house as I was considering replacing my windows. I tried to rush him thru his speel, but he was very patient with me. He made sure I understood exactly what I was getting and even brought sample cutouts of various vinyl window frames, double-pane glass samples, and a sunlamp to compare the heat values of sun coming thru the window glass. He explained everything about the frame, construction and materials, to glass and vinyl coatings, even the liner and gas that is installed between the panes! He also had the printed statistics to backup what he was talking about. When he was done he said, "You now know more about vinyl windows than the average person."! The critical measurements were done a few days later and the guy measured all inside windows, then outside, then went around and did it all again. He said they fit the windows to within 1/16th of an inch and since he was an installer, he was trying to see how they would fit and look best in my old window frames. My windows were installed a few weeks later and the men were very professional and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I couldn't be happier with my new windows. I now have windows that look great from the inside and outside. I did not have to paint any wood frames outside as the windows fit perfectly. I also have a lifetime warranty on my break-resistant glass and screens (salesman pounded on sample window, I thought he was going to break the glass, but he said he pounds on the same window every time!). The only time it will not cover is in a natural disaster. The lifetime warranty is transferrable one time. I do not call the manufacturer, I call Harley Exterior if I need any servicing or replacement. They sell, install and service their products and have been in business for 12 years. I have noticed a huge difference in the comfort of my home and feel a lot safer now too. One benefit I did not know about or expect is that I can leave my curtains open (without sheers) and do not have to worry about peeping toms, the windows almost work like a 1 way mirror. I can actually see the outside clearer by looking thru the windows than I can just looking out the door. But from the outside it's very difficult to see in unless you have a light on. The installer said that is because of the UV protection. I would recommend Harley Exteriors and their great windows to anyone who is looking for great quality, service and professionalism.

First was the sales pitch. This was a scripted 3 hour long, tedious process. Our sales person was professional and personable and the presentation was very informative. There was pressure to decide on the spot. After the price was dropped several thousand dollars we agreed. The installation was completed in one day with two workers. They installed 8 replacement windows, a slider and turned three smaller living-room windows into one large picture window. The installation process was completed professionally and with care and respect. The windows were chalked and cleaned, They hauled off all of the old windows and cleaned up inside and out. The only issue we had was that the screen door on the slider did not slide easily. Harley's promptly contacted the manufacturer (Custom Design) who is sending out a representative to resolve the issue. We love the look and operation of our new windows! They are also a great noise insulator. All of the sliding windows are spring loaded and easy to remove for cleaning as are the screens. In summary, we feel like we received a very good product, professionally installed, and with a lifetime guarantee. The company has been responsive. Although the sales process is long and with some pressure, it was not really unnecessary because of the high quality of their product.

I immediately noticed how quiet the inside of my house was after installation. I never knew how much noise my old windows were letting in. This is not something that can be quantified by some salesman, but it is true and made a believer out of me. Proves that not only does the double thickness glass reduce noise transmission, but the frames and window seal with the sliding frames are also well sealed. I also noticed that my furnace didn't come on hardly at all after installation. So I was not losing heat through the windows like in the past. And my old windows were the aluminum framed double pane windows made by Milgard, which were not cheap windows and lasted 26 years. But they were starting to leak and cause moisture to appear between the glass. A major improvement with the new windows is the reduced solar heat gain. Now when the bright sunshine comes in, you can put your hand behind the glass and hardly feel any heat. This is great and will reduce my cooling costs during the summer. Plus it will eliminate the fading of my drapes, sills, and carpet. Even though you may think by living in the NW and solar heat gain is not important, think about how much heat comes into your home because of the long daylight hours we have in the summer. So I think solar heat gain is a very important factor in window selection. If you doubt how well the triple E coated windows work, ask the salesman to bring a heat lamp and old style and new style window glass to demonstrate the heat transfer and you will be amazed! I didn't believe it until I saw how effective the triple E coated window glass kept out heat. The windows themselves have many good features such as a double cam lock, a window stop to allow the window to remain partially open, and a feature to allow swiveling the window inside the house to allow easy cleaning. I chose the beige color frame. My windows come with a double lifetime warrantee so it can be transferred to a new owner. They provide a 10 year installation guarantee and will replace for free up to 1 window a year which is broken for any cause. This includes parts and labor. No one else that I know of provides this kind of guarantee. We will probably not get any windows broken, but it is nice to know they will fix it if it should happen. And they also replace the window screens for free if damaged. I am thoroughly happy with the new replacement windows, I should have done it years ago. However window technology is constantly improving so they might come up with better windows in the future. But for now, these are the best windows available and Harley Exteriors is the best business we could find. I recommend getting a couple competing bids and make sure you are comparing the same features on the windows. There were some lower cost bids we got, but they did not offer the high end technical features which now has proven to be so important. I would hire Harley Exteriors again if we had to do it over again. But for now, I don't have to worry about my windows for my lifetime!

The sales rep was very nice and non-pushy and then the installation team was very clean and treated my home with respect. When they left you would not have know they were there, other than the beautful new windows. The windows not only look great they have reduced or heating bill and keep the house much cooler on the hot days. On top of all of that they gave us a double lifetime warrenty. I have to believe that will help us sell the house if we ever decide to. I give them a A+ and would do business with them again.

The service was outstanding from the beginning to the end of the installlation of the new windows. They organize all of the workmanship so as to do the best installation possible. As they worked inside the home they used cloth/tarp to cover the carpet. And cleaned up after replacing the windows. My old windows were 1968 Metal Frames-two pane's. They are backing their windows 100% & will replace if needed. This was a fantastic experience & for the money spent for the project of new window like these-Olympic Windows-from Harley Exteriors-I will more then double the money I spent on savings for heat, electricity cost in a short period of time. Plus the value to my home is improved. This went better than I had thought & would highly recommend Harley Exteriors for anyone planning on window replacement.

The installers were great. They were wonderful about cleaning up when the project was complete. I can't really comment on yet on how efficient the windows are, since I haven't gotten a heat bill yet.

The salespeople were great to work with. The installation crew was also very qualified and did a thourough job including cleanup. The only problem we had was the glass used was inferior and somewhat cloudy which could not be cleaned. After we complained, and they sent out a rep from the glass manufacturer, they replaced all with new windows using a diferent glass manufacturer.
