Requested bid online, provided details as I knew what style door I wanted, and was able to describe in detail what I wanted. Based on the info I put in my request, I received a detail quote, including a suggestion to go with a different manufacturer... at a significant savings. They called me to follow-up, and we setup a meet to close the deal. Chris stopped by and checked it out, confirmed the sizing etc, and said they could do it the next week. They get shipments on Tuesday's, and would be ready to install by Thursday... Got one call back, they needed to push it out a day, which was no big deal at all... The installer was in on the early side of the estimate (8:30-ish) worked quickly and quietly, and was done and gone by 2:00 PM. Really happy with the quality and the features of the new doors and openers. Very happy with the perimeter sealing - they fit a match seal piece attached to the fixed door opening, so the sealing is very positive. The unit installed much higher in the garage than the old system, so there's far more headroom with the doors open. The liftmaster belt drives are SUPER quiet, and they don't just haul the door up and down, they adjust power output and speed during motion, so the motion is more fluid. Any back pressure on the closing door triggered the safety stop and open sequence, I'd guess less than a lb. All in all, GarageTech left the existing structure in much better shape than they found it, provided a smooth working product in a very short time frame. Very happy with the service and the sale.

Done in an hour, only $142. Door runs perfectly.

My garage door stopped working. Called them at 8:30am and got appointment scheduled on the same day. A technician arrived in a few hours and completed the service in an hour. They are very professional and did exactly what I needed. They did not try to sell my unwanted services like the other one. Highly recommended!

I was very happy with the service I received. Chris came out at the time that was most convenient for me, showed me where the problem was, did the necessary lubrication and adjusting, and quickly got my garage door working well again. He was very helpful and informative.

The technician was on time, reviewed each of the doors and made suggestions to fix and make them work more effectively. This added cost to the estimate but I had only asked about replacing the springs. He recommended new rollers, which was why I was having to manually bring the door down. For the other garage, he actually fixed it so closed all the way, which was because of previous owners bad installation. Drilled some holes so that we could keep it open easily. Overall fantastic experience!

Garage Tech came out promptly for the estimate. Went over all the work requested then they contacted the manufacturer to make sure we got exactly what we needed at the best price possible and presented me with the estimate within 30 minutes. The price was great and we proceeded with the order. They kept me informed of when the doors would be arriving along with the scheduled installation date. They came out had the doors installed and did a very professional job. Very happy with the price and finished product. Company was great to work with.

The young man who came (James Tronson) came early, knew exactly what to do, told me what parts needed & how much for part. Stayed and adjusted each cable until he was sure everything was in order. Also he showed me how to deal with outside buttons and provided me with a remote programmer for my motor. This young man was terrific! If I have any future garage door problems, I would always call Garage Tech first. Thanks.

I'm finding out that I'm doing well if I can get any contractor to return a call. I called this company and left a detailed message about a simple task I needed to have done. I understand that during the busy summer season, contractors and handymen are busy and may not be able to take on all work requests. Having said that, I don't see why a simple return phone call is so difficult. If you can't do the work, that's perfectly OK, I can find someone else. Just don't leave me hanging. Return the phone call, whether you can do the work or not. You'd get less bad reviews that way, and a possible recommendation in the future.

Garage Tech was a referral from my neighbor Cat Snyder and did an awesome job from cradle to grave on installation of two new doors for my home. Lee himself came out to do the bid ( on a weekend) and set expectations fairly on price and delivery/install. The job was complete less than 2 weeks later. In fact, he did the whole install himself and even came out to follow up on my doors to make minor tweaks and modifications after the fact. This is about as good as it gets with customer service and delivery and installation of third party products. So good I shared out with all of my neighbors ( 1100 of them) on Nextdoor.com!

Lee with Garage Tech did an excellent job of scheduling the repair promptly and he kept in contact with me throughout the process. Lee called me on the day of the service and he arrived on time, with all necessary tools and parts and he was very polite and professional. It was obvious to me that Lee knew what he was doing and completed the work in short order. Needless to say I am very pleased with Lee and Garage Tech and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of garage door service and or repairs.

I was somewhat surprised, but glad, that Garage Tech would service my area due to distance. I scheduled the appointment early on to coincide with a known day off and sequential to a couple of other appointments. I was relieved when I received a voice mail saying that although they made a business decision to remove my area from their service region, they honored my appointment by asking if they could come out earlier on appointment day. They also offered to provide a recommendation if that would work out better for me. I was extremely impressed at their efforts to honor their appointment commitments. I know moving the appointment to an earlier time was a stretch for them, but it worked great for me. They kept the appointment, they arrived on time, completed the repair and cleaned/maintained both doors. The worker was very professional and thorough, and took time to answer some question I had about general maintenance. I would definitely use them again if I were in their service region.

Replace 2 garage doors and opener in my 1976 split level. The price was reasonable and the service was reliable and very professional.

I had a bit of a garage door emergence when my house was being painted and I was informed that the garage doors could not be spiffed up with a coat of paint. My old wooden doors had to go. I called Garage Tech and Lee came put the same day to provide me with a variety of options. The pricing was great and they were able to get me on the schedule within a week. No hard sell or push to upgrade. Lee came out right on time, installed the new ones and hauled the old ones away. Overall an incredibly seamless process. Many thanks to Lee for the great service.

Jean called promptly Monday morning and was able to get an appointment for Tuesday. She was even kind enough to make suggestions about what might be wrong and a few things to check out. She then called back to tell me they could fit me in today, and the tech would be here in 30 minutes. FABULOUS! The tech arrived and fixed the garage door. It turned out not to be at all what I thought it was. He also did some basic maintenance and advised on future product purchases.

The service person arrived on time and did the torsion spring replacement. He was knowledgeable and gave an overview of how torsion springs wear over time and what to expect in the future for the new ones he was installing. The repair was completed very efficiently and then it was over. We were very happy with the service and being able to schedule the repair in the same day. We will use them again if needed.

Technician arrived on time to repair our garage door as one of the rollers had fallen out. When he arrived he made the repair. Then I asked about getting all new rollers to make the door a little quieter. He had them in his truck and was able to replace all the rollers and make necessary adjustments to the door. It works great now!! He was very kind and professional!

Lee showed up exactly on time. I showed him what was wrong, and he explained the pros and cons of replacing the partially cracked door-track support. He replaced that and replaced one of the two bolts holding the garage motor to the roof. The door works great now.

One of the main operating springs broke on our double garage door on Monday AM. The door stopped operating and our Prius was stuck, but thankfully we have another car and a separate garage door. Lee came out to repair it. We worked with Garage Tech in 2005 when they automated our small third car garage door (which is the one that saved us this time!) Lee was right on time. He performed the repair in only 30-40 minutes. He tested the garage door for me and improved the way that it closes (all the way down to the garage floor now) and lubricated the parts so it is smoother and quieter now. His charge was super reasonable and well worth it to have our main garage door working again. We are very pleased with Garage Tech!

Garage tech responded to our needs with very short notice. The technician was on time and very knowledgable about our system. Not only did he repair the existing system, he had very helpful recommendations on maintenance and how to prevent future problems as well as how our existing garage door system could be improved. All recommendations were without the normal aggressive pressure to sell you expensive services and/ or parts you may not need.

We had two garage doors installed by Garage Tech in June. At that time, neither side of the garage could accommodate a car (too much "stuff"), so we we just left the old opener on one side and figured we didn't need one on the other. My husband decided to clean out one side so I could park my car there. Since he had promised me he'd do this when he proposed years ago--and because of a 30-year accumulation of tools, large work benches and metal cabinets--I wasn't convinced it would really happen. Amazingly, I came home after a day-long outing and it was done! (Anyone got any crow I can eat???) Because we had been so pleased with Garage Tech's professionalism and performance, they were the only company I contacted. Lee gave me a great quote for an upgraded model with a built in battery back up and arrived at the scheduled time. There was one glitch, but I didn't let that alter my rating. When Lee arrived Friday afternoon and started to pull items out of his truck, he realized they had loaded him with the wrong type of drive for the opener he was installing. There was a moment of disbelief, and then his face went thru a series of emotions (especially since I couldn't hide my disappointment), but he recovered quickly and promised to work us into his schedule and return on Monday. As promised, he returned Monday and completed the job. It's been a real pleasure doing business with Lee!

Lee provided estimates one day after we contacted the company. He also cheerfully returned to bring back a color sample to reassure us that our choice worked with the house color. Maryann helpfully offered design suggestions and then ordered the proper items. Her delivery estimates were right on and the new tracks/doors were installed the day after Garage Tech received them from the supplier. We were extremely pleased with the gentleman who performed the work. Overall impression: dependable, responsive and honest. A GREAT CREW!

Price was competitive. Friendly, professional and punctual service. Would recommend.
