Responded promptly, a diagnosis was made that one of the three garage doors needed a new garage door opener. A cost estimate was made, agreed upon.The contractor agreed to install the system promptly since we were leaving town. It is operating smoothly.

I called and set up an appointment to get an estimate. Lee was prompt and professional. He immediately took measurements and told me side-mount openers would work but that we would need to have some new wiring run and an outlet installed. He then used small cross-section samples to explained the different types of steel doors. (Another company came out. The guy good there and scratched his head for 5 minutes, took some measurements and then called somebody on the phone and asked them their opinion and then stood there a little while longer staring at our ceiling. He then told me that side-mount openers would not work so our only option was to have a 4"x4" hole cut in our support beam to allow us to have a traditional opener installed.) When our electrician came out Lee took the time to explain exactly what was needed. The guy that installed the doors and openers actually arrived a little early and was very courteous. We are very happy with the doors and the side-mount openers work great. Would definately recommend Garage Tech to others.

They came when they said they would, understood the problem and gave a reasonable estimate. They described the minimal adjustments we needed to make in the garage so that they could do the work. They came back promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. And it is clear that the materials they used are of high quality and working well. All in all a positive experience.

I had a coil break and the garage door opener opener attached to the door started to peel away the top metal flange. I called Garage Tech and made an appointment. They arrived right on time. They let me know the existing coils (right and left) were not sufficient for the size and weight of my door and would need to not only replace the broken one but the other one as well. The replaced both and did a good job of securing/reinforcing the opener arm to the door panel that was damaged due to the coil/spring break. They said at some point I would have to replace the top door panel but gave me a carriage bolt and instructions on how to install it to give me more time before I really needed to replace the pannel. I really apprciated that since I don't want to replace my door panel until I paint my house again (which will be a couple of years). The reason they could not just install the carriage bolt for me had something to do with them not being able to drill a hole in my garage door, per code. They also showed me how to lubricate the various roller points in the door every few months to reduce friction in the door opening and closing to even further prolong the need for me to replace the top panel that the arm is attached to. I really appreciated the guidance and education and would highly recommend them. When I need my top panel replaced they will be the company I call for sure.

Stacy arrived a little early, which was fine. He worked really well with the electrician who was here doing work to get the garage ready for the door opener installation. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was very professional. After he was done, he showed me how the inside control works, as it's no longer just a doorbell switch. He showed me how the sensors at the door worked as well. When I looked at the door after he was done, I noticed that 2 of the windows were crooked. He could see it as well when I pointed it out to him. He arranged to get a replacement panel at no charge. He returned the following week and replaced the panel with a new one in no time. Nice guy, easy to work with.

I got my old garage doors replaced. Got quotes from 5 different contractors. I could not get most of them to give me references. Lee on the other hand told me "I'll email them to you first thing in the morning", and he did. I was impressed. His quote was very competitive, and his references all checked out great. I decided to go ahead, and I have no regrets. It's been five years now and I have had no surprises, and the door looks & works great. He came on time, put in the new door, new low over head tracks, new opener, hauled all the old stuff. I was a pleasure working with him. I would definitely recommend Garage Tech.

They approached it in a business like manner. They were very good at there job and very reasonable. The clean up was very good. They were really willing to work with me.

Stacey showed up on time and did a nice job, including clean up and taking away debris. He took the time to explain how everything worked, including the key release.
