Both values in one bathroom sink were leaking and the faucet kept moving. The toilet tank in another bathroom was also leaking. We have a house with old pipes and thet are hard to work on. Pete replaced both value and cleaned out the rust in the pipe, put new seals in the toilet tank, and fix the flushing problem we had lived with for years. We talked about how old the pipes are and replacing the whole house's plumbing and he gave us a referral that he trusted to give us a price on doing that. Everything is working great .

Pete came and did the job within an hour. He was the most professional contractor that I have worked with in a long time. He was on time, friendly, courteous and knew what he was doing. It was so refreshing. I would recommend him to anyone.

Sure enough, Pete cleared the clog in about 45 minutes. Turned out the clog was about 40-feet into the sewer line. Pete is also by far the most efficient contractor I have come accross. When he picks up something from his truck, he runs. When he showed up, he was loaded and ready to go with the knee pads on and tools ready. Amazingly efficient! Since I did not spend the full service hour, I had him also add an air gap for the dish-washwer, which had been on my to-do list for quite some while. I can whole heartedly recommend Pete for all plumbing jobs, and I know who to call the next time I need a plumber.

Pete owns this business and is a one man show.He charges $125.00 and hour plus parts.He knows his job and even tells you about it as he does it.He will even let you assist a little in a very minor way just as long as you know who the real plumber is.It is a real pleasure to employ an excellent craftsman who has no need to try to fool you about anything.I think that the price, service, and truce craftsmanship is just great!

Pete is fabulous to work with. He came out promptly, got right to work, had everything he needed, cleaned up after himself, explained what he was doing, and charged me a reasonable price. All while being friendly and pleasant. We have used him for all our professional plumbing needs for many years now and are always very happy.

Pete from Forest Ridge did a great job for me. I had several plumbers look at the job and he was the best price. I don't usually go with the lowest bidder but he was able to handle a deformed pipe better than anyone else and I liked his straightforwardness. He always called when he said he would and he was very fast.

We called Forest Ridge once it was clear this was not a job we could do ourselves. Pete called back within 20 minutes and said he would try to come later in the afternoon after he had finished the two jobs already on his planner. He arrived 2.5 hours later, assessed the situation and got to work. Including the additional installation of the Insinkerator, he was at our house for about an hour. Fast, efficient, friendly and capable. We will be calling him for all our plumbing needs from now on.

Pete unclogged the drain of the basement sink, had to send his "snake" down 30 feet to do so. Apparently lint from the washing machine had stopped it up. He also fixed a bathroom faucet that had a very slow leak in it by replacing a few parts. He was on time, did the work quickly, cleaned it up well and actually remembered something about my interests that we had talked about last time he was here, perhaps a year ago. I was very impressed with him on that visit and was similarly impressed on this one.

Let me preface this by saying that Pete went out of his way to discuss our issues by telephone prior to coming to the house. He made suggestions and immediately on speaking with him instilled a good feeling about him, his company and work ethic. Needless to say when he came to do the work he was amazingly quick and when he left I was comforted knowing it was all taken care of properly.

He was very responsive. I called up, and he was out here the next day. Their prices were fair.

This is our second service with Pete. First 18 months prior. In both cases we were extremely pleased with Pete's prompt call back and same-day availability. He is very professional.

He "snaked" the toilet several times and did not find any major obstructions. Then he tested it by flushing down some toilet paper to see if he could get it to clog, but it didn't which he said meant there did not appear to be any major obstructions. He was professional in his work, friendly, and explained what he was doing every step of the way and didn't mind me watching. I would definitely use his services again.

If it were possible to rate higher than an "A" I would do so. This gentleman is amazing: works very fast, gives good advice (told me how to repair my own 22 yr old faucet and where to obtain the replacement for the part he removed). I will refer him to everyone I know. Thank you very much!!

After seeing sterling reviews for Forest Ridge in Checkbook and on Yelp I was puzzled as to why he is hard to find on Angie's list. Still don't know the answer, but maybe being listed here as not bonded or insured has something to do with it. The State of Washington website clearly shows he is both. Virtually all reviews here and elsewhere marvel at his speed, capability and businesslike approach so I decided to give him a shot at a tough install. The two sinks are offset in cabinets with large drawers. The problem is, one of the two faucets for each set is behind the drawers allowing very little room to reach and wrench the faucet nut. It was a real struggle both getting the old one off and the new one on. I'm very pleased with the installation and love the new shutoff valves which replaced the crappy gate valves with compression fittings. As I'm sure, most users have experienced them leaking or refusing to move after not being used for a while. True to earlier reviews, Pete was all business and finished in 2 hours. His material charge for the 5 shutoffs and stainless hoses was $92 which is a terrific price. I will definitely use him again.

Although I made clear this was not an emergency, he was able to find and install the toilet I wanted (a Toto) the same day I called. He explained the difference in operation of the toilet, and how long before I could use it. (Some leveling with caulk required.) He also checked the floor around it to make sure there was no damage from leakage from the old one. He was also able to fix the outside faucet without taking it off, so it will no longer spray the house when turned on. He answered some questions I had about what sink faucets to buy. I was amazed that all the work here took only an hour! I've used him before and will continue to do so. Rare bird, indeed.

Pete arrived on time and within two hours completed everything. He was neat and clean, discussed with me options and was pleasant to deal with. His prices are reasonable. This is the second time we had him out to do work. Some of what he does could have been done by us - and it would have taken us three days to do it! We will definitely have him back again when the need arises.

Everything went smoothly and efficiently, he works quickly and efficiently, cleans up, and hauls old materials away.
