Description of Work: Install new water heater and make changes in hook up due to space limitations.

Description of Work: Replaced leaking water heater tank and installed a new one in an existing two-tank setup; total time for service was about 2 hours. They followed up conviniently with permitting.

Description of Work: I saw the savings (pay 100 and get 200) and I needed a new water heater. They told me it was going to be $1,000 approx. I was out of town but when they came they started adding things (that may or may not have been needed) bringing the cost up an additional $1,000 at least. I ended up canceling with Fast and got another company Bob Larson to come do it and they were able to complete the project at a far greater savings that what Fast was wanting. I've requested from them a refund and have heard nothing in return. SO I wrote you last night asking about it.

Description of Work: Replaced water heater. Initial call re malfunction referred to manufacturer to identify problem and order replacement part. Consult with manufacturer not successful due to wiring not matching their specs. Returned to Fast Water heater who determined my water heater was 15 years old and needed to be replaced which they could have done when I first called if they had checked their records. Heater promptly installed but did not always deliver hot water. Second call corrected by turning up bottom element apparently not done at original installation.

Description of Work: Person on the phone was very helpful and professional from the beginning. They were honest, upfront, and accurate with their estimate of the total cost. The installer came the day after my call, and was on time, very friendly and efficient. The cost actually came in at the end to be lower than all of my previous estimates and I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend Angie's list, and fast water heater to anyone needing this service in the future.

Description of Work: Fast Water Heater does not service water heater that are over 7 years old for its annual water heater program, so they were not able to work on ours since our water heater is more than 10 years old.

Description of Work: I bought the deal on 9/15. Fast Water Heater Company scheduled an appointment for 9/16. Their installer came by at the scheduled time. He found additional costs related to the installment doubling the actual amount of the deal. Reason for the extra costs according to the installer is additional changes needed to be made to pass inspection. They could accommodate me by discounting $300 on a total bill of around $2000. I cancel the deal because I find the increase still too steep.

Description of Work: Fast Water Heater was contacted on 17 September to provide an estimate for a hot water heater replacement. I was told that the technician would arrive on 18 September between noon and 2pm with a courtesy arrival call about 30 minutes prior. At 2pm on the 18th no one had arrived at my house. I called the company and after being on hold 20 minutes I was informed that they mistakenly scheduled me for 12am, so no tech was routed to my house. David, the sales rep, stated that he couldn't get anyone out to my house that day, but i would be the first appointment on 19 Sept at 0900 am. At 920am on the 19th, I I received a call from Chris, a Fast Water Heater technician, who stated that he would be taking over the estimate, but he was in another city and wouldn't be at my home until, at the earliest, 1030am. If you have the luxury to stay at home and wait for companies to show up at will, that is fantanstic, but I had to take time off of work both yesterday and today. So even if this company has the best price, I have already incurred an opportunity cost just by requesting an estimate. When i called the company back this morning to complain, Walter answered the phone he was little to no help either He basically told me that if I wanted the estimate, I need to wait on their technician. Update: Walter just phoned me to say the the tech would be at my home at 1030 and he spoke to his manager and they would give me $100 off the price for the miscommunication. Probably too little too late to use this company!

Description of Work: Replaced my old water heater and expansion resevoir and ensured that the new one was weatherproofed in my unheated back closet. Plumber did a very nice job and left the area just as he found it.

Description of Work: We had a leaking emergency, called at 7AM they were to come by 5PM at 5:30 the person I contacted had not heard of us! They came the next day at 9am. banged walls getting old one out, kicked the protection I placed down and dropped rusty water on carpet. Next morning water pouring out of new pipe connections...took them 4 hours to come back out to fix. Water clean-up company had to come twice for both water/carpet clean up. They took money off but not as much as it cost us. A manager of sorts was very apologetic and told us to contact him with any additional costs...hum must have been out of town as did not pick up and did not return our call. And the water detector he promised to send, never showed up either.
