Description of Work: I am very satisfied with my experience with Fast Wayer Heater Company. My tenants let me know their hot water heater's pilot light was out, and they were unable to get it going again. I went to their house and couldn't get it lit either, so called PSE because there was a gas odor around the base of the tank. PSE was unable to get the pilot lit either, and suggested that the tank was 12 years old anyway and that I might just want to replace it. I called Fast Water Heater company because of their name, reviews, and their current deal, and purchased a new tank. They were able to schedule me in the same day, and give me a 45 minute heads up so I could meet them at the house without waiting around. The two guys did a lot of problem solving (the new tank wouldn't fit in my tight space, and besides that my existing tank was actually only 6 years old), but they were able to help me through purchasing the necessary part that needed replacing, as well as problem solve getting the pilot light started again. It saved me quite a bit of money and in the end, they earned a new customer. I recommend this company.

Description of Work: Installed new water heater, adjusted plumbing and installed expansion take. |They advised on additional work that should be done but didn't put any pressure on us to do it. They were responsive, prompt and professional.

Description of Work: Installed new 40 gallon water heater and expansion tank. Needed special sized unit to fit in limited space. Venting with furnace was redone to be in code.

Description of Work: Removed old water heater and installed the new water heater. An expansion tank had to be added and the old stand had to be replaced with a new one to conform to new code. The installation area was left clean after the job. The technicians were professional, pleasant and answered questions as well as offered information on the equipment, new codes etc.

Description of Work: I was stunned by how much the cost is, even with the coupon. Guess that's just what it costs these days. Outside of that, they were terrific. Showed up, replaced the water heater, got the permits, cleaned up and left. Fast and efficient.

Description of Work: I found our water heater leak that morning and called the company. Luckily they have a spot that day and came in an hour. We replaced a 12 year warranty water tank and the technician explained many details to us. Great job done!

Revisit on 5/30 for clogged |A/C drain which had to be repositioned. Fixed promptly at no charge. Only complaint -- info. given to sales rep not passed on to technician fully.

Description of Work: A new water heater was installed. We had the previous water heater for about 15 years and it was installed by Fast with no problems. It operated faithfully all those years so when it finally died it seemed logical to use Fast again. Unfortunately we did not have the same results this time around. |When the technician came to replace the heater the next day he couldn't because we have a direct vent water heater. He said we would have to get prior approval from the city (Bellevue) because they have had instances in the past when the city required them to remove a new installation because it did not meet city code. We did not run into this problem when the previous heater had been installed. |To make a long story short we had to go for two weeks with no hot water due to poor communication and lack or responsiveness from Fast. They are the experts on this, I'm not. I got poor information from Fast as to which water heater was being considered. When the city inspector came to the house he was befuddled as to why he needed to pre-approve the installation. I definitely got the impression from the inspector that this was not normal procedure. After some confusion it appeared that everything was settled and the new water heater was finally installed after going back and forth between the city and Fast. |Our old water heater had a 50 gallon tank as does the new one. This is a 4 bedroom house with 3 baths. Two of the bathrooms were remodeled 3 years ago. My husband and I are the only ones living in the house and we seldom shower at the same time. On two occasions we did take showers at the same time and we ran out of hot water. I contacted Fast. They sent a technician out and he was surprised at how fast the water temperature dropped but kept saying we must have had plumbing work since the installation. We did not since there had been no plumbing modifications since the bathroom remodels two years before. I expressed concern that the water heater either wasn't working properly or was undersize for this house. The only feedback I got from them was a protocol they sent us to check if the water heater was working to its manufactured standards. We did follow the protocol and the heater met the standards. |To me that means that even though this is a 50 gallon water heater that the amount of BTU's it uses is inadequate for this house. We never ran out of hot water with the old heater. The technician agreed that the new heater should be more efficient than the old one so why on occasion do we run out of hot water. I feel that an undersize water heater was installed. As long as only my husband and I are using the heater we probably can get by but if we have guests or we sell this house to people with children I am positive there is going to be a problem. I feel that Fast did not consider the size of this house when they installed the heater they did. As I said before they are the experts, we aren't. I think they blew this one and I have not been able to get them to discuss this with me.

Description of Work: Excellent! Purchased a water heater from Home Depot and these guys are the HD installer. Very pleasant to work with and other than a minor hiccup due to miscommunication on both sides on required height of heater, all went great. | |They could not comply with their same day service policy and offered us a discount for the one day delay. Dan immediately realized the height issue and ordered the correct heater and was back the next business day to do the install. | |Nothing but good things to say about these guys.

Description of Work: We apparently have a strange water heating system and he could not complete anything on that particular visit but he was ind enough to check things out and said all looked good. I got charged $135.00 for the out call, which to me is extremely out of whack. The tach was very nice but the office( accounts people) were very slow in getting back to me about my initial refund and then when they finally did, they charged us $135.00 for coming here and spending 5 minutes.

Description of Work: They were great. They had to do a lot of work to get my ventilation for the water heater up to code, but they were fast and responsive and got us back with hot water the same day! The tech was very professional and did a great job!

Description of Work: Very bad. I scheduled an appointment with Fast Water heater Company. The smallest window of appointments was between 8 and 2 pm. So, I took the day off of work. One o'clock rolls around and I haven't heard from them. I call and they said they should be there before two - they will call 30 minutes before arriving. I call back at 3:30 and they tell me that a job took longer than expected and they forgot to reschedule me. Nobody called me. I told them if they are not here by 5:00pm to cancel. I don't want somebody working at my house at midnight. They did not even call back to say they can't make it. Here it is 5:30 pm and I still have not heard from them. Do not use Fast Water Heater. They don't want your business.
