Cascade Pest Control

We have been working with Cascade for over 20 years. We discovered carpenter ants in our roof at that time and embarked on an eradication and control program which has been very successful. Now, we just get a routine inspection and maintenance spray once a quarter. At the time we started, I had a toddler, a new baby and two cats, so I was particularly concerned that we use products which would not be harmful for any of us. The folks from Cascade did a great job of explaining options and helping us take the lowest risk approach. I should add that in addition to the quarterly treatment, we work diligently to manage our landscaping so that we don't have plants touching the house (which would provide easier access for the ants).

They were really knowledgeable and my husband explained what they will be doing. He was really thorough and nice.

This was the second time we utilized Cascade Pest Control. They did a great job last year for a different hornet issue. I tried some chemicals from Home Depot, but it did not work for some reason. I called Cascade and they came out the next day. Very quick response and were clear on the costs involved. The tech who did the work was very processional, maintained high safety, and quickly setup and sprayed the nests (after checking if they were honey bees on my request as I would have wanted them removed not killed). Problem was resolved in under 24 hours. Would call Cascade Pest Control for any future issues involving unwanted bees, wasps, or hornets.

We got our usual high level of service. We have used Cascade for over 10 years at our prior residence with a high degree of satisfaction.

I contacted them due to spiders outside, they came out promptly and sprayed which has drastically decreased the spider population outside.

Rodent exclusion job for established infestation. Had to repeat exclusion process multiple times, due to substandard work from first employee. However follow up work was excellent (and free) and house has been rodent free for nearly a year. All employees courteous and professional in person. Phone contacts (reception?) unsatisfactory.

Cascade pest control arrived on time of apt. We should them a picture of dead ants and they were certain it was carpenter ants. They inspected the inside and outside of the home and suggested we begin by spraying the exterior home and if we find ants inside the home to call them and they will return to spray the interior. So far so good, no ants! Thanks for great service!

Firm responded in timely manor to request for service. Provided agreed to service but mole(s) were back 3 days later. Call and basically I was told I got what I paid for. So the $414.00 I spent was a total waste of money..

Oddly, the day that we were expecting to have them come, the baby was sick. We called to adjust the time/see when they would be arriving, and were told that they didn't have us on the schedule. Odd, but not the end of the world. We haven't followed up with them.

They were both exceptional. They were very professional, and they spread out a runner so they wouldn't get the house dirty. They get it done right. after they are done doing all of the work,. They take pictures of everything they have done, and provide those to the customer.

We were totally taken aback at how effective the treatment worked. We tried a number of DIY treatments without success. The technician was very knowledgeable and very professional. The treatment did not require any removal of molding or drilling or digging; and resulted in not sign or odor of treatment. Totally amazing; it's been almost a year and we've not seen a ant since. Without question we would call upon Cascade Pest Control again.

It went really well. We are in the country and we have had mice before which I have been able to control, however rats then got into our crawl space. Cascade responded within 2 days and did an accessment of the problem. The cost quoted for this was exactly what we paid. No hidden fees. They made the recommendation of what to do which is called an exclustion. This is where they put wire mesh down in the crawl space and then put cement on top. Then they placed a vapor barrier down. They also put wire mesh in the eves on the roof. The estimate they quoted was what we paid and again no hidden fees. What happen next is what really made us happy with Cascade. 1 rat was trapped in the crawl space after the exclustion. He started raising problems in the house and it was unconforable for my wife and I. Cascade put traps in our house where the activity was. Interesting the rodent was very smart and Cascade had someone respond everytime we called them. They were out to the house about 5 times and the good news is the the rodent was captured and removed. Have had no problems since. Very happy with Cacade and the crew. Have also signed up for the maintenance.

We had unsuccessfully tried to get rid of wasps behind a crack in our house using a spray we bought from a local hardware store. So we called Cascade. Al came right out, assessed the situation, and used some other poison to kill the wasps for us. It was no easy task getting to them (couldn't get to them from the attic). So far, so good. No sign of wasps flying around over a back porch.

Kirt was very professional with his consultation and communicated in a style that helped us understand all we needed to know. Fortunately for us we didn't have a termite infestation but he taught us what we needed to do to prevent one from happening. We even chatted about our mole problem and deer eating our Laurel! He acted like he had all day to discuss our pest control problems. Great customer service.

Look at overall rating, chose Cascade pest control. Then found out 2 bad reviews in the reviews. Expressed my concern but decided to trust this overall all rating. Then Daniel came on time, very honest to do exam, take pictures, draw the problem areas. Set a trap, charge $383. One week later, technician came to repair problem areas and removed the dead rat, charge $345. After 2.5 weeks, Daniel came to remove the trap. No more noise in my attic. Very good experience , thank you Daniel .

All went well. Technician called and said he would be delayed by 30 mins. Arrived on rescheduled time. While at site, inspected rest of property. Fumigated nest that was primary concern. Afterward sprayed two smaller ones he found at no extra cost.

The person who answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked if they could do it today, they said they could have someone between 5 and 7. At ten till 5, the technician was here and took care of the nest (inside the wall on the outside if my house). I have to wait a few days to make sure the treatment worked, but for now, I am extremely pleased. Update: everything went well!

Kris arrived well within the specified time frame. He explained to me how he was going to proceed in detail, answering all of the many questions that I had. He gave me a lesson in yellow jacket behavior and in the architecture of the nests. And he told me what to expect and look at over the next few days. He explained how the chemical works in detail. All in all he was very knowledgeable and professional, explaining the warranty and telling me to call if things were not working as explained, in which case he would revisit.
