Charlie showed up on time and professionally treated the wasp nest in my soffit. He explained what he was doing and the safety aspects of the treatment he was applying. Completed the work within 30 minutes and informed me about the 1 year warranty on the treatment. Price was very fair compared to the competition.

They did an excellent job, We've been using them since 1999. Their customer service is excellent. They stand by their product so if you have any issues they come back with no additional charge. They were very good at communicating to customers, the technicians always texted me to provide me an update on when my next service will occur.

Scott was fantastic! He came in, walked me through the entire process, did a thorough indoor and outdoor inspection of my home including attic and crawl space. He identified the main areas of concern, presented options for how to address them, set traps, answered all of my questions and was a joy to work with. His return visit the following week was just as helpful.

He was very professional and thorough and took care of the problem. He explained everything that he was doing and they were great. We signed a contract with them and will use them again in the future.

They failed to respond to my enquiry for crawlspace cleanup.

There were no signs of vermin but the inspector reported a couple of areas of possible entrance. The tenant had over reacted to some animals on the rooftop and have not had any issues since. Question the diagnosis.

Bryant came out and was very courteous and professional. He treated the windows and eaves, including two small hives that were forming. The price was reasonable, and I would not hesitate to call them again.

They initially quoted us at around $2400. I have no knowledge of how much this should cost, but it seemed high to me. When he showed up and started working, he stayed until around 7-8 PM. He said he had grossly underestimated the quote and it would require another full day of work to complete, but it wouldn't require any additional cost because they had already quoted it out. I apologize for not remembering his name, but he was the absolute best hire from Angie's List I've ever hired! I liked him and this company so much that I hired them for a monthly pest control sweep.

Haven't seen an ant since they were at my house.

I asked them to check what is going on in our house for our rodent problems. Also, I asked the scheduling lady over the phone if they can clean up droppings in the garage on the day of inspection because we wanted to clean it up as soon as possible, but are not confident to do it safely and need professional help. She talked to the technician and told me "It could be possible". So I decided to schedule with them. It seemed they inspected well and nicely. However after all the checking and putting some traps, the technician said they cannot clean up droppings at the first visit. He said he will do cleaning a week later if we "ask", but originally he's not supposed to do so. He informed us the droppings are rats' so it's not harmful at all. That is very different from what we learn somewhere else, so he didn't sound very professional to me. He also said if we want it to be cleaned "officially", the different department has to come and it'll cost $500 at minimum. So be careful if you'd like to ask them to clean up droppings. The cost they were going to charge us this time was $350 just for an inspection which includes checking the entrances around the house, in the attic and the crawlspace, with setting traps and the second visit for checking the traps. We felt it's very pricey and he also denied to clean up droppings at the first visit, even if that was what I expected at scheduling. I think they should have told me that when I scheduled or when they arrive at latest. It was totally a disappointing experience. The good part was we could cancel the whole appointment after the inspection has been done. Thanks for that.

Called next day and technician was able to come out and block entrance, set traps. Came back later in the week to complete permanent repair. Caught intruder soon after in one of the traps. Technician was polite, efficient and sensitive to my concerns. Excellent experience.

Rat still in garage; traps placed under house over 2 weeks ago. They were to call in a week to make an appointment to come out within the following week to check traps (after 10 days of placement). Has been 17 days and we have heard nothing from the company. Did not like the pressure to sign up for regular service at the initial visit either.

Have no issue with this company. They come when they say and always call me within a 2 week prior to coming out.

They called ahead and arranged to arrive early, which was fine. They announced that they would not remove the nest, only spray for it. They sprayed, we paid, they left. There was no follow-up from anyone at Cascade to see if we were satisfied with the service or if there were any other things we needed. Although I have not seen evidence of the wasps since, it is a bit troubling to think that the nest is still there. As a point of comparison, we had called another company a couple of years ago for a similar situation. They sprayed once, then came back to remove the nest. The wasps in the nest were still very much alive, so they sprayed again then came back a third time to remove the nest. All for about the same fee as Cascade's "one and done" service. In addition to the specific issue we had, one of the things I was interested in was an overall inspection for pest issues and possibly getting signed up for a maintenance program. My experience with extermination companies is that this sort of upselling is a big part of their business so I was a bit surprised that the employee who came out seemed uninterested in engaging in this discussion. I do not know if the last-minute rescheduling that got him to our property early left him no time for further discussions but it seemed to me that they were generally uninterested in any follow-on business. Bottom line, if you're looking for a company that will show up on time, do the job you asked about, and then disappear forever without any high-pressure selling, Cascade might be your company. This form requires a "yes/no" answer on the question of "would you hire again." I'm a decided "maybe" on that question. They wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, but neither are they off the list.

For the price, I get a very comprehensive treatment. Everything is under control. They are very thorough.

Chris arrived promptly as scheduled, was pleasant and knowledgeable, identified some additional issues of which we were unaware, and applied a safe-to-all-but-ants chemical that completely solved our problem within a day or two.

We were told, over the phone, that the house would be sprayed one foot up and one foot out from the foundation. On his first visit, a couple of years ago, I found the tech spraying almost one foot up and about three inches out from the foundation. I asked him to spray to the standard Cascade represented. He replied that ?it doesn?t really mean that? regarding one foot out. After I insisted, he sprayed correctly, though grudgingly. Afterward, I found that if I didn?t watch him every visit, for the entire visit, he would fudge. He needed to be reminded to spray under a wheelchair ramp, which ran along one side of the house. We would ask for ant bait stations, and sometimes he would bring them, sometimes not. He had no answer for how to deal with ants in the wall nor obvious colonies under the pavement or in the garden. Over the time he was our tech, the ant problem actually got worse.

This is the second time I've called upon Cascade for extermination work. The first was several years ago for moisture ants and this time it was for rodents in the crawl space and garage. Sam was the technician that arrived. He is very professional and personable, thorough and skilled at what he does. He inspected the entire property, explored all of the crawl space and the attics over the garage and above the second story rooms, and even took photos of the various areas and shared them with me. I was impressed with the quality of Sam's work and follow-through. He came back to complete exclusion work and re-set traps, including sealing up gaps around gas pipe entry points and holes behind the furnace and water heater in the garage where roof rats were getting in from their crawl space nests. I would recommend Cascade to anyone who has pest control work to be done --- and if you're lucky, you'll get Sam as your technician.

think we were expecting something a bit more thorough, based on what the office person said. The person at the office said they used a different technique than their competition does. They thought squirting the insecticide inside the hornet's nest was not going to be effective. The guy came out and did that. He poured insecticide into the hornet's nest. It did the job, but it was a little bit disconcerting. We wondered what were they planning to do. If they had told us the circumstances called for them to do this, that would have been fine. I can't really say if there was a disconnect or if he discounted the information he had and made a judgement call. The upside of it was that the hornets did get zapped. There was a communication disconnect, but what we did get worked. Their punctuality was fine.

Cascade Pest Control is an outstanding company! On Monday Aug 3, I called and asked if someone could be sent out to take care of the Yellow Jackets that were flying in and out from under some trim on the exterior of my house. A few hours later my regular technician Steven came out and looked at the problem. He also thoroughly checked all interior areas close to the nest site to make sure the Yellow Jackets (YJ) hadn't made it into the interior of my house. He recommended that we close off the closest vents to where the YJ's might try to come into the house when he dealt with their nest. Which I greatly appreciated. In addition to my Yellow Jackets issue, Cascade Pest Control also is my provider for rodent control. They have an efficient safe method that does not put other small animals in jeopardy - just the target species, mice and rats. This was really important to me because I feed birds and didn't want them to accidental eat any of the poison. Not to mention other animals in the neighborhood. My technician, Steven, is friendly and personable. He is always considerate and takes off his shoes before entering my house. He even fixed my gate latch one time out of the blue. I really appreciate all his efforts to keep my home pest free. Thank you. This company and its employees really care about giving the best customer service they can and because of that I am a returning customer with quarterly service. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.
