Description of Work: Purchased carpet for 3 bedrooms of my house. Install was outsourced but managed by 5 Star. The installers took cash or check only. The service for install was pretty good, not amazing as I still had to clean up quite a bit after they left, but overall good. My new green label carpet had an odor for about 3 days. It bothered me enough that I slept in the living room for 3 nights and left the windows open in the bedrooms (in the middle of winter) to air it out. The carpet is super soft, if I had to do it over though I would upgrade the carpet pad. They offer 2 different 8 lbs pads and I thought they were okay but should have gone for something a little softer for bedrooms. Overall I would use this company again.

Thank you for your response. I've already met with the installers to remind them that every thing they do gets noticed and reported so they need to leave every job spotless. I have not had many people (maybe one per year) say anything about them leaving a job site messy so I'm sure it was a momentary lapse. I'm glad the odor dissipated, occasionally there is some odor associated with new carpet and or pad. Unfortunately it's a bit un-predictable but we are always interested in knowing so we can look for patterns that may help us avoid any irritation to our customers. We will always work hard to deliver the best products installed by the most skilled craftsmen available. Thank you for your business, Andy

Description of Work: I spoke with George. My job was too small for him, but he found me some who did the job for me. How nice was that. I spoke with other vendors who would not or did not do that. The A. Brigance Co did the job and I rated them. Thanks George!!!

Description of Work: 5 Star Flooring did a great job and I was very pleased with their service. They brought the samples to my home and took measurements. Once I had selected the carpet they provided me with a estimate the next day. Their very professional installers arrived on time and were able to complete the installation in the entire house in one day. They moved all of the furniture (I moved the breakables) which made the whole process very easy. I thought their pricing was reasonable, and they did a very professional job from beginning to end. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: Eric at 5-Star Flooring was my point of contact via the phone, and my husband met the crew at our rental house. They were fast, professional, did beautiful work, and were reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone. We are very happy with the new carpet.
