I have a weird house; a geodesic dome. This means lots of weird angles, and they are all different. In short, quite a challenge and not something just anyone could do. Thanks to 5 Star Flooring, I now have the most beautiful floors: it all flows evenly from room to room (a big deal in a dome) and I am just so impressed with the workmanship. Eric was very responsive, and when I told him I might change my mind on my flooring choice, he offered to come back out to my house with more samples. Oleksi was the one who actually installed the flooring; you couldn't ask for a swifter, more professional, or more polite gentleman to work on your home. He moved a few pieces of heavy furniture for me when I told him I didn't know where to put them. One of my doors didn't close properly because of a change in flooring height; he said he would take care of it for me...basically every question/problem I had was answered with "no worries, I will take care of that for you." I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat, and I am so glad I found them. It's actually pretty rare to get this kind of service.

The quality of the work was horrible and lack of communication. The floor was uneven and the owner said he would redo a portion of the floor, but then later he emailed me and told me that wasn't a part of the agreement on the invoice and wasn't going to do it. They also contract out for the installment, so those people just install, even if they see a problem. I would never ever suggest this place to anybody. I had the worst experience with them and a waste of money due to the lack of quality in their work and customer service.

The flooring I chose was out of stock and took a long time to arrive, but Eric kept in touch about the progress. I knew I wanted "that" flooring, so I had no problem with the wait, and it turned out to be worth the wait. The crew was professional and very tidy and clean with a process that required every stick of furniture in the house to be moved required more than a week to complete. They helped me shuffle items from one location to another during the process and made it easy to live here -- even while all the work was going on.

We had a fantastic experience working with Andy's 5 Star Flooring in Bothell. They were ever patient with us, as we researched and compared multiple companies and quotes. Ultimately, we ended up with 5 Star because of reputation and price. They helped us understand the different types of carpeting options and ultimately because of pets and children, we decided we wanted a waterproof backed carpet (Shaw) and were able to easily compare quotes. They never made us feel pressured to go with them and were so patient as we spent over 6 months going back and forth with them and other companies for quotes. We thought Costco, with their cash back option, would be a better deal, but 5 Star still came out more affordable. Their good reviews on Angie's List and Yelp gave us ease as well. They were patient with us as we requested multiple quotes for different types (piles) of the carpet and when we decided to pull the trigger, were able to schedule swiftly. We now have new carpet throughout our entire upstairs--on the stairs, the hall, and three bedrooms. It looks amazing and the installers did a great job. My husband is a perfectionist and inspected all parts of their installation and is extremely satisfied with the work they did (I am too, but easier to please ha). You cannot see any seams, they had barely any excess carpet (which saved us money), and the installers were professional and kind (we've had less than ideal experiences with installers for other projects and are always happy to see clean and professional folks doing installation for us!). We only paid a deposit and didn't pay the rest until they knew we were happy with the job, which is also reassuring. We would highly recommend Andy's 5 Star in Bothell!

I kind of ended up to talking to like 3 sales men and that got a bit confusing, as one was not available or ohter. But once we sorted it out and got the order placed. They were very efficient. the crew was online , they did a good job quickly. The install crew was pleasant and friendly. we have used the carpet for a few weeks now and i have no complaints on carpet or installation

We have 3 or 4 times now bought carpet and had it installed from these guys and each time, after shopping at many other carpet outlets, we are convinced we get the best deal and service from these guys. This last time we bought 70 yards of carpet & pad on Saturday and it was installed on Monday. Dave always takes great care of us, and makes buying carpet a pleasure. Highly recommend them, no games, no pressure, just consistently great products and service at the best price.

Andy's installed a natural, wool berber carpet with hypo-allergenic pad and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The product is much better quality than my old synthetic carpet and I now wake up with no congestion and coughing. They used a low VOC glue so there were no strong odors after installation. I had several quotes for this product and the pricing was pretty much the same as the other vendors. There were minor differences in cost of materials and labor, which is why I rated the pricing as "fair". I went with Andy's because they were familiar with the product I wanted. With wool, you want to get someone that is knowledgeable about the material. There were a couple snags with the vendor and sub-contractor, but George at Andy's made sure I was taken care of and the carpet was expertly installed.

Redid most of a small house with composite core LVP. Quality of products they carried seemed better than you see in big box stores. Very happy with the materials and FloorScore certification. Installers were professional and did an amazing job - worksite was kept clean and I was impressed with the overall quality, especially on transitions to some existing tile. A couple minor issues came up (e.g. blocking a heating register, and some invoice issues) but Eric was great and helped resolve them quickly.

It went well. Eric was a big help guiding us to the correct carpet and pad. The installation crew was professional, worked efficiently and did a very nice job on the installation. We love the installed carpet.

Workmanship was excellent and extremely fast. Some family issues required some last minute re-scheduling and company was very responsive. Would definitely use them again.

They had exactly the carpet we needed and were very good at describing what was included in the price. They ordered the carpet and it was installed within the month. They were also accommodating when we needed to push the install out by one week.

We replaced the carpet in our living room and dinning room. They did a great job, were very punctual and profession. Would hire again! Corrie

Floors look good, some damage to the wall edges, during install, but not that bad. There is flexing on one spot in the living room floor. When you step on it, it gives way. I called the company and emailed them twice and no one got back to me. I called again and the sales person came by to look at it. He said that "the installer only weighed 135 lbs so he'd never know this issue". I do not weigh 135 lbs. -- this was a slam at me. Then he said "he'll talk to the installers about it". I waited two more weeks, I didn't hear from them. Then I called him again and said this should be covered by the warranty. He said he'd have someone call me inside of two weeks to schedule service. Two weeks have gone by and no one has gotten back to me. I'm very disappointed. This was a $7100 job and I would expect that they would bother to make it right.

We hired this company to replace all of the carpet in our 3300 SF home, plus refinish the hardwood floors. The carpet was the original carpet that was installed 17 years ago. We met with Dave at the Bothell store, and explained we needed carpet that could withstand 2 little kids plus pets, and he expertly guided us through the pros and cons of each carpet type we looked at. He was prompt when coming out to measure our home, and we selected a date about 6 weeks out for installation. Their pricing was competitive, based on competing bids, but we hired them based on AL reviews. The install team was running 4 hours late on the install date due to a prior job running over, but as soon as they arrived they got to work quickly. We contracted to have them help move furniture, but since we had a lot of personal effects still stored in the house, we were busy moving boxes too. They worked late, but had to come back the following day and work a full day to complete the installation. Their team worked very hard and did a great job. A few days later we had another team come in to refinish our hardwood floors. They did a great job, and worked around our chaotic schedule. We had to be out of our house for this work, since there is no way in or out of our home that doesn't involve walking on the hardwoods. When we returned 2 days later our hardwoods looked brand new! We would definitely recommend Andy's if you're looking to replace carpet and/or refinish your floors.

We are so pleased with the work that Andy's 5 Star Flooring did in our home. Our salesman Dave Trainor was excellent. He answered all our questions and made several trips out to our home to review things with us prior to the installation. Our installer Oleisky was amazing - a true craftsman. The company was very easy and flexible to work with. I wanted to paint the baseboards before they were reinstalled, and the company accommodated me. It took a week and half for me to do the painting, and then Oleisky returned and nailed them down. We are very happy customers and highly recommend Andy's 5 Star Flooring.

We had Andy's tear out existing slate tile in our entryway, install new tile, and refinish all the hardwood floors of our home with 3 coats of Swedish finish. Everything they did was excellent quality and while they were more expensive than the other bids we received, the level of knowledge and customer service we got just from the estimate visit convinced us they were the way to go. The end result is awesome, highest quality everywhere. The tile was done in a day and the floors took about a week. I will say that communication from the guys doing the work could have been better. They finished a day late and didn't tell anybody, so we went to move back into the house and they were putting the final coat of finish down. They also missed one closet and chipped a flush heat register on install, but both of those were promptly fixed with no hassle whatsoever. Overall, customer service and quality were excellent, wish I could give higher than an A for quality.

Initial bid provided by a guy who was not very experienced yielded a bid of $30k which was $10k or 50% higher than the 2 other bids that we had. With the comparisons of materials required and labor, the 5 Star guy was clearly way off - quantities amd prices don't lie. I wanted to work with 5 Star, so we called to try to get a re-estimate citing the evidence. The sales guy would not listen. Called his sales manager. He seemed to understand initially agree that the price sounded too high. He then did not show at the appointment time. We called him and he wanted to send the SAME guy out for another estimate. Disappointing and dumb. We wanted 5 Star, but these guys came to us with their F game on. Thought about calling the owner, but then realized that it shouldn't be this hard to do business with a company when this is a big job.

Fantastic! From start to finish they provided excellent service and pricing. Fair, honest and the installers were very professional and took great care to do a fantastic job. Would HIGHLY recommend.

David Trainor was very helpful. He took the time with us to explain the different qualities of carpet samples so we would know exactly what we were getting. The carpet installers arrived the exact time scheduled and very professional . I would definitely call them again.

The whole operation went smoothly from start to finish. Eric was great to deal with - he gave us a fair quote that fit our budget, showed us samples to choose from, material of our choice was delivered and installation was completed on time. We decided to go for engineered wood laminate called Western Pecan of 10 mm thickness that comes with underlying pad that can absorb sound of footsteps since the flooring was for first floor of our house. George and his colleague were very professional and skilled and they have done an outstanding installation. We are delighted with the end result and love the new flooring. 5 stars to Andy's 5 Star Flooring!
